Moved by the spirit on a certain day, four cousins join church for various reasons. Completely unbeknownst to the other’s intentions, each hopes to gain something worldly. Dominique, who hopes to gain his grandfather’s favor, gets his inheritance as well as attracts opportunists. Chris, who did it for his unborn son, finds himself in constant fights with his baby mama. Tony, who did it to let go of the street life, finds himself pulled back in by an old running buddy. And Jack who did it for college recommendations brings his dreams to a halt when he fathers quadruplets. Will a family gathering on Labor Day weekend be able to restore the faith of each relative?
I thank God for all my blessings because without him I am nothing. I will like to start off by saying that this story flowed gracefully from beginning to end, but many characters in this story forgot who God is and forgot he is omnipotent. I am very proud of how many characters in this story handled their situations and proud of those who are still seeking guidance. I really want to applaud Dominique for how he handled his situation by putting God first. This was a very great lesson for me because sometimes I have to be reminded to stay on the path of righteousness. Great Read! ReneeG 👍
