I ended up skimming this book. There were interesting ideas and I liked reading some thoughts stated differently from how I usually hear them. I do like to read books from different religious practices because they can sometimes help me see things deeper and from a different angle. In the end, this one used some terminology that I didn't care for over time. I think it could be a nice help to those who pray set prayers.

I will add one to my challenge to offset this book that I didn't read all of.

So encouraging to move beyond the vain repetitions that we so often get caught up in. Its a prayer place that requires a constant communication with God, an intentional pursuit of that relationship and a faith that requires more than nice thoughts. The book itself wo t change your prayer life, only you can do that.
