As a graded reader, this one is good and on the level with Chinese Breeze's other Level 1 offerings. As a story, the plot made me angry. This clown, I was ready to throttle him. He doesn't deserver either woman. The best justice would be for him to spend life alone writing his programs.

I suppose the fact that the plot actually annoyed me is an indication that the book has succeeded as a comprehensible reader, though. So yay for that! (But seriously he's terrible)

It was below my level and I found it easy to read and the language and expressions were really nowadays expressions. But the problem is in the story itself, it is so sexist it’s creepy. Basically the FL kinda makes all the work for the ML succeed, and ML’s wife asks him to divorce bc she cannot take care of him so there is no woman living with him and he will not be fed? LOL
