The Enforcers are a myth, rumoured to be a band of powerful werewolf's that protect the packs. Cade is one of the Enforcer's, and the deadliest of them all.
Tansi, a werewolf who cannot shift, meets the mythical enforcer Cade in the woods. He claims he is her mate, and she can't deny the pull she feels for him.
He leaves, as he is on the trail of rogues, but promises to return and complete the mating.
But what happens when the rogues attack her pack and kill her alpha. Will her enforcer come back in time, because the new alpha wants a mate, and he has chosen Tansi!
So, I’m an avid reader of werewolf romance and mafia romance. I’ve read across thousands of stories online. I know this author’s book from Inkitt when I read about Wren and Paul story and the Surviving Hawk. I get to read story about Diesel and I’m very satisfied with that story.
After I read a few of her stories, I think I can conclude that she’s pretty good at involving many characters. I love how she creates this circle of characters and not focusing solely on the two main characters.
HOWEVER, I think this is why her book is getting rather disappointing. I find the romance rather boring. The insta love, the mediocre start of their meeting, the insta bond. It’s like you’re reading meditation book instead of Romance. It’s like the author wants to give you peace of mind from the start and when the conflict arise you know that their love is just gonna be okay. Coz well they already love each other on first sight.
That’s the tricky thing about writing werewolf stories. You are limited by the principles of mate. But when I read her other story, it’s also insta love.
Alright, insta love is not that bad. It’s okay if you are not continuing with the Instant process all over until the girl got pregnant. It’s HEA and cliche and something you know will happen. I understand romance story will always be like that, at least mostly.
BUT, after I read many romance stories ... especially the best stories among those... I crave more and I see more things can be done in this book.
My problem with this book is, there’s no thrill, no challenge to their love. Yes there’s rouges or whatever from the external, but there’s nothing from within. It’s like they’re robots and they do as what the maker told them. No questioning, no doubt, no other psychological matters.
This is why I say that this story gets boring and predictable. There’s no experience for you. You know when you read romance, you want to feel anguish, upset, sadness, anger, excitement, desire, and many others. All those feelings that make you like in roller coaster and believe that this is real and not a story.
That’s the BIGGEST WEAKNESS I found in this author’s writing. She’s very good at creating the environment, the set up, the many characters in her story... yet she cannot make me feel, make me like I’m in the story and believing it’s real. She got the breadths but lack the depths.
I see that as a good thing. If she can write and write and perhaps work with someone else or editor, I think she can be big someday. I see her potential, just need more.
The story itself and the characters were great. My problem was the editing. Questions should have question marks. Chapters should not start with the end of a sentence, the beginning nowhere to be found. Some of the dialogue was stiff and unnatural. Overall I was happy to get to the end. The epilogue confused me, there were missing pieces that were not explained. Some mystery would be fine, give fewer details. Don’t make it look complete so that I read it four times in a row to see if I missed something. I’m now left feeling frustrated because I wanted to enjoy this more than I did. It’s a delicious bakery cake that needed another 15 minutes in the oven and is now flat. Disappointing. Hopefully the author either hires a more experienced editor or the one she has learns their limitations.
I was actually really excited to read this book as I had read the first few chapters on wattpad, and it seemed like the story might be going in an interesting direction. As I continued reading, I enjoyed it less and less. I admit to not reading too many werewolf books but the possessiveness of the main male character kind of turned me off. That's probably my fault though. Some of the dialogue also seemed a bit stiff. It left me thinking if I was living in an alternate universe or if normal people have those types of conversations. I wouldn't personally recommend this book, since i didn't really like it.
I will have to say that this book threw me off completely
I love Insta love and I love quick romance but this book was just weird I guess like everything happened so quickly In a way that was almost uncomfortable
The concept of the book was good don’t get me wrong I read the whole book and I finished it but just don’t expect it to be perfect
And also in the heat scale this is definitely a 1 don’t expect adult content because there isn’t any
I will give her another try idk if Enforcer was her first book but it’s the first one I saw published for her in GoodReads so I’ll try her MC series next just to give it a try and be open minded
This book had a great story line and I loved the fact it had alot of action. The Enforcer Series is worth reading and you will be entertained. The only thing that I would change about this book is that I would slow it down more and put more details/imagery in it. It started with a punch or in full throttle. It would of been nice to know more history on the characters your reading about that way you can connect it emotionally. If that makes sense to anyone but that's just me. Great start regardless and I will buy the next book in this series.
I love this author she is a one click buy for me! I’m ashamed to say I only just realised she has this book out. I love mc and paranormal books and to find an author who excels at both is amazing. This book is a paranormal book of shifters and grabs your attention straight away with insta love and a strong yet kind alpha hero and a strong but soft heroine, it really is worth a read! Can’t wait for more in this series :) x
Megan Fall, is truly a talented writer. The way she writes makes you believe you actually part of the story living it and feeling it. Absolutely love this story The Enforcer it sucked me in and i didnt want to put it down once i began. Be sure to check out her other work too, i would recommend anybody from Middle Teenager to Adult would enjot this story
The enforcer is a really good story despite some spelling , grammar and editing errors . I am not talking about Canadian spelling differences from USA spelling. I am really looking forward to the release of " Enforcers revenge ".
Cad e is a council enforcer and finds his mate while chasing rouge wolfs. Tanks is an artist, alpha daughter and unable to shift . With everything going on the mating is put on hold and rouge attack her Pack But Cad e saves the day with his enforcer in book 1.
This book is very unique. It's a good read but has a lot of editing mistakes. The plot was excellent. The characters made you laugh, cry and yell with them. If it wasn't for the editing this book would have received 5 stars.
While I enjoyed this story, I didn't care for it as much as I did some of the authors other works. It's in need of a lot of editing. One chapter even started in the middle of a sentence. Chapter 46, I think it was. It was very confusing.
I started reading this book on Wattpad when it was there. I didn’t get to finish it because it got published. I am so glad I finally had the chance to finish it! It was absolutely worth the wait!!!!
Tansi shows such amazing strength for someone who believes herself to be less than she should be and together her and cade prove it doesn't what obstacles are in your way if you love someone enough
Totally fell in love with these characters. This was a fast paced, hard to put down book. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series as she puts them out. Loved the reference to F wolves..LOL
Tansu alphas daughter but no wolf. Cade enforcer meet and sparks fly. Cade still required to finish his job before being able to come back to Tansi. Read their harrowing ordeal to find their happy ever after
I enjoyed the characters and their development. I look forward to the next book in the series. The teasers in the last chapter were interesting. This is a great new series
I gave this book the highest rate I could as it was so very special to me. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and want to read more of these books.
This book was fast-paced from the beginning.I thought it strange that they instantly fell in love but I do love the way the story line kept you wanting more
