She’s not ready for commitment...
Milly Holcomb has a history with bad boys. She knows what they’re after, and she knows they’re only good for one a night of wicked orgasms. When she met AJ, she had been prepared for that.

He wants all of her...
AJ Ballard knew from the moment he laid eyes on the feisty blond that she would be worth the wait. However, he hadn’t anticipated their wild nights of passion would result in more than either of them was prepared for.

Sometimes it’s just meant to be…
Hearts flutter when this snarky good girl realizes this sexy bad boy is more than she bargained for.

Can Milly and AJ figure out what it means to be good parents when neither of them has a clue what they’re doing? Will they give in to the attraction they’ve been battling since day one? Or -- because of the consequences of their actions -- will they simply have to settle for being the best parents they can be?

This was book 5 in the "Pier 70" series. Milly and AJ are both clueless. They hooked up on the wedding cruise AJ wanted more but Milly pushed him away. A few months after the cruise they get a big surprise Milly didn't leave the ship alone. Milly tells him that she only wants to be friends she is afraid of getting hurt. As her pregnancy continues AJ is there for her he falls more in love and it continues after she has the baby only Milly realizes that she has fallen in love with him as well only she is too afraid to say. I wanted to hit both of these characters. In all the books in this series Milly is fun and lively but in this one we see a different side of her. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

5 Star review of Clueless (Pier 70 # 5) by Nicole Edwards

This is Milly Holcomb and AJ Ballard’s story and is the final book in the Pier 70 series and what a way to wrap a series.

From the first moment AJ sees Milly he is hooked and when
When an unexpected surprise means that Milly and AJ will be linked for the foreseeable future, AJ is more than delighted and dives in head first. He has tried everything he could think of to get Milly to return his calls with no luck. Now she has opened the door and he has no intention of letting is close.

Will Milly and AJ be able to break down the walls between them and finally see what everyone around them knows to be true? Or will they run away ignoring the feelings burned into their souls?

Although this can be read as a stand alone I believe you will get more enjoyment if you read the previous books in the series, but that is just my opinion.

This really was a fitting conclusion to a series I love. Ms. Edwards stories are full of love, romance, sizzling scenes that make you hot; the characters are well rounded and developed and her writing is exceptional.

Milly expects boys to be interested in one night stands only, at least as far as it involves her. That is a nice line in a blurb, but one would expect to find something in the story that defined and consolidated those expectations. When you find nothing of the sort, you start to wonder why she doesn't want contact with AJ after their steamy nights together, as AJ tries to keep in touch with her. When AJ sticks around and proves to be reliable, loving and supportive for an entire year, why the heck is she still trying to keep him at a distance? The fact that AJ is not very talkative about his feelings does not provide a reason to fill three-quarters of this book with repetitions of 'I need to keep my distance' after once again indulging in hot sex. A disappointing read.

Terrible

Originally I'd of given this 3 stars, it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible, I certainly didn't care enough to write a review.

And then I got to about 80% and the author had the heroine act like an immature brat. She was the one who friendzoned the Hero, who wanted her and pursued her from the start and when she decided she wanted him instead of talking to him like an adult, she lied about having a date to make him jealous.

It was pointless drama for a story that fell flat.

Clueless is the perfect finale to the Pier 70 series. It can be read as a standalone, but you will have a better understanding of the relationships between all of the characters if you have already read the first four books.
We heard about AJ and Milly earlier in the series and I am so happy we finally got their story.
On paper, they had everything a relationship should need, heat, chemistry, friendship and even a baby. Milly just didn’t believe that any guy would stick around. AJ had patience of a saint and perseverance to have stuck by her and support her even when she kept their relationship in the ‘friends’ category for over a year. When they both stop being afraid to admit how they feel about each other they will finally get their happily ever after.

The story that brought the gang together!

Now that we knew how the boys met, we finally got to see how the match maker Milly and A.J. became one. It was a very long journey and not many men would have stood the test of time but when you love someone, time doesn’t matter! Great conclusion to an amazing series!!

Perfect ending to a perfect series. Milli and AJ are so good together but a few bumps in the road derails their relationship. In the end, they get their HEA and all is well. Fantastic story.

I was really happy to finally get Milly and AJ’s story. I thought their connection was strong and their chemistry was off the charts. They were both clueless about their feelings, and it was fun to read. I like all the characters in this series, and I loved seeing them again.

Let’s start with some semantics. This story is listed as book 5 in this series, but its timeline starts during book 3, Speechless, and ends after book 4, Harmless. Trust me, it’s less confusing than it sounds. It was written after book 4 and I believe the proper place to read this story is after book 4. And unlike with a lot of this author’s other works, which can all be read as standalone books although you miss out on so much if you do that, this story probably wouldn’t hold up as well as a standalone. For one, it’s a shorter story. Also, a lot of the emotion comes from the fact that we already know these characters.

The Pier 70 series is really a M/M series, but fans (myself included) really wanted to know what happened with Milly and AJ. Ms. Edwards was kind enough to oblige us. These types of books, the shorter stories that are written to satisfy the rabid fans, can go horribly wrong at times. I just recently reviewed such a story where I felt the author phoned it in. Not so in this case. The author really did a great job of giving me all the feels…including getting frustrated with AJ and Milly and their lack of communication!!!

One of the most amazing things about this story is the true friendship that develops with the characters. Them both being so darn stubborn really forced them into a caring and mutually beneficial friendship that will be a solid foundation to any relationship they have with one another for the rest of their lives. It was a beautiful thing.

Really, Nicole Edwards does not often have a misstep. At least in my opinion. Her stories always suck me in and hang on until the very last page. I’m glad she was able to give us the Milly/AJ story so many of us wanted.

Clueless is the last book in the Pier 70 series (insert tears here) by the talented Nicole Edwards. I love this series and I fell hard and fast for all of these characters. I'm sad to say good bye to them, but I'm so glad I got to read all of their stories. Clueless is a novella about AJ (Hudson's brother) and Milly (Gannon's best friend). We have known Milly and AJ throughout the series, so we already know their background through the other characters. Now we get to see their story from their point of views and I loved it! I have always loved AJ and Milly and now I love them even more. They hooked up and she got pregnant. AJ tried to talk to her to tell her he wanted more, but she was scared. Now that they are parents together and spending a lot of time eating, being with the baby and platonically snuggling on the couch, they both want more, but neither one is going to say it. I loved watching this story play out! They are both so stubborn and hilarious! I loved seeing the guys again and hearing what they have been up to. The ending is perfection as Nicole wrapped up the entire series for us! Thank you for that! Overall, I laughed, teared up a little, got hot and bothered and loved this story!

"Tell me what you want, Milly."
"You."
"You've got me, baby. You've had me since the first day I met you."

Gone was the sweet man who tried to seduce her with words. In his place, the alpha male hell-bent on driving her over the edge again and again.

Clueless is the final book in the Pier 70 Series and what a great way to end Nicole Edwards certainly goes out with a bang with this story. It can be read as a stand-alone but I really feel you would get so much more out of this story if you have read the previous books as Clueless not only has its own main characters it also gives us an insight into the relationships of the guys from the previous books.
It’s instant attraction for AJ the minute he meets Milly he knows she is the one but that doesn’t mean he will act on his feelings because both Milly and AJ have built protective walls around themselves and even an unexpected twist that means they will be linked together for the next eighteen years or so doesn’t mean the walls will come down easily, AJ will need the patience of a saint but that doesn’t faze him he can wait as long as it takes for Milly to realise she needs more than just friendship. This couple have it all chemistry, friendship and a baby but will that be enough for them to admit their true feelings for each other and finally get their well deserved HEA.
This book has it all love, romance, characters with sizzling chemistry and yes this book is hot but it’s also a love story all in all a perfect way to end a great series.

Liked it...didn’t love it

No cliffhanger
Standalone though part of a larger series
Told from both POVs
Epilogue from a previous books character

I love this author and have really enjoyed this series but something about this book just didn’t draw me in as much as the others. Don’t get me wrong, it was hot, emotional, had good banter and a sweet ending, it just wasn’t as captivating as other books I have read recently.

Milly and AJ meet through mutual friends. The chemistry is immediate and they have spend an entire cruise getting to know each other, in and out of bed.

Fast forward to being back home and AJ wants more but Milly ignores him completely. Until she finds out she is pregnant. But even then she insists they only be friends.

They spend her entire pregnancy friend zoning each other even though they are both in love with each other.

Finally after the baby is born they come to Thor senses, but even then Molly’s fear of being cast aside keeps them from moving forward.

Will AJ be able to convince her he is in it for the long haul or will her past continue to keep them apart?

Finally, we get to read all about Milly and AJ! I have been looking forward to this book. You got glimpses of their relationship throughout all of the other books. They first got together on the cruise for Gannon and Cam's wedding and spent the entire week together. Then, AJ ghosts Milly... Then Milly has to find AJ to tell him some life altering news and this bring them back together. Mostly. They remain friends, with a few minor (and HOT) encounters, but friends nonetheless. Until Milly takes things into her own hands, with Dare's help, and they finally admit their feelings for one another. I loved how this story ended. I loved the recap and the conclusion for all of the other couples in this series. This was a great series and you can't help but fall in love with every character in it! Well done Nicole!

This is the perfect book to wrap up the Pier 70 series. As the only f/m book in the series it still fit in perfectly. Milly is a walking contradiction, she is outspoken, confident, a go getter and willing to do anything for her boss and her friends. Yet the thought of a serious relationship had her walking away every time. One look at Milly and AJ new she was the one. But after a hot and heavy few days she walked away. Both of them in love with each other but neither would be the first to open up. Not through Milly's pregnancy of after the birth. The book follows their path to opening up to each other and alsocatching up with all the men of pier 70. Loved the epilogue, the closing of a great series, loved the entire series.

Loved It

If you are a regular reader of Nicole's books you won't be disappointed with this one.

AJ and Millies story show just how stubborn they both are. It continues the story after the cruise. If you haven't read the Pier 70 series (What are you waiting For?) you can read just this story as a stand alone. I love the way that Nicole pulls all the stories in the series together at the end of the book.

Thanks Nicole for another great book. A loyal reader of yours.

Another success by Nicole Edwards!

A great wrap up to the series. Was very nice to see some of the events that had previously happened in the series from another point of view. I was a little confused at first when the timelines for the series were not matching up. Then figured it out, this book pretty much encompasses the whole timeline of the rest of the books, but from another point of view.
The Epilogue at the end was very nice. I love when a series wraps up with a little looking back, and a glimpse into the future to know that everyone is doing well.

This was an amazing read that ties up any of the loose ends in the amazing series. I love how the book moved along and included all the other characters that you had fallen in love with in the other books.

It moved along at the perfect pace, the characters well you feel as though you know them personally and you cannot help but fall in love with them and the story was perfect.

If you have read the other Pier 70 books, you will love this one and if you haven't read the others, you will be running to read them.

An amazing series by an amazing author.

Was so looking forward to This book .But ended up so disappointed couldn’t stand Milly she was just so annoyingly immature. Men are not mind readers at the end of the day .and she was the one who friend zoned AJ in the beginning and ignored him . Now AJ I loved but even he at the end off the day should have grown a set of balls and opened his mouth on how he felt about her from the start . Just feels like the author just threw this together to get it over with .

Finally clued in

This was a novella. This is AJ and Milly. They met back in Cam and Gannons book. They fought the immediate chemistry between each other and it was interesting to watch each thinking the other should go first, afraid to make the move for fear of rejection! A lot of the novella was stuff you already read in the other books but it was good to remember. This was a good series conclusion book!!

This title totally sums up their AJ and Milly's story

I'm so glad Milly got her HEA. She spent so much time doing for others it was about time she focused on her. Although it took WAY to long for that to happen. She was beyond clueless to what was right in front of her. AJ is such a sweetheart. I loved getting to know him better. The Epilogue was a great addition too. Loved hearing how everyone was doing down the road.

Quick and good!

Finally got to get Milly and Aj’s story!! Since their story seemed to span several of the other books, some of their relationship...or lack thereof was kind of glossed over...which was nice to not have to go through everything all over again...we got the important parts and that was a good thing!

Did you ever wonder how everything came about with Milly and AJ in the previous books? Did you ever wonder what happened to all the men of Pier 70? This story brings us the circumstances of Milly and AJ's short but explosive love affair and gives us the wonderfully beautiful happily ever after of some of our favorite guys in Nicole's own steamy way!

Beautiful quick read! I loved reading the all the love stories for each character. This was a wonderful wrap up for this series. Milly is an extremely stubborn woman & AJ was almost as stubborn. These 2 with their push/pull was sweet, sexy & shows us how well this writes her characters as everyday people.

Milly's feelings and reasons for constantly pushing AJ away were so repetitive and boring. I had to skim through the parts that repeated. I've read the whole series, Cam And Gannon are my favorites. This one was just OK. I kinda felt bad for AJ cause Milly kinda leads him on for most off the book.....

“Clueless” is sure an apt name for this story. AJ and Milly. Both afraid of commitment. Plays the field. Until they get together on the Cruise ship. AJ tried to call afterwards but Milly never acknowledged him. Then a few months later she shows up on his doorstep with some surprising news. Now they are FRIENDS!!!!!! Who are they kidding?

Happy endings.

This book ties up all the loose ends of the Pier 70 series. I have enjoyed all the stories and getting the conclusion for AJ and Milly. Be aware that if you haven't read the others books you will probably be lost alot.
