In 2012, Connie Ciampanelli celebrated her sixtieth birthday by running 5K for the first time in her life. Never an athlete, she followed the Josh Clark "Couch to 5K" program, especially designed for beginners.
"Journey to 10K: Adventures of an Older Novice Runner," her first book, is the story of how she achieved her dream. Written as she went along, it illustrates the successes and failures, good and bad runs, and discouragement and elation that Connie experienced. She wrote this book to encourage others who embark on similar journeys.
Connie says that with desire and determination, anyone in good health can succeed in achieving their running goals.

Connie’s second book is about a feral cat which the Ciampanellis took care of for nearly twelve years. Unofficially adopted by Connie and Tony, they named him Bartholomew Thomas Katt, a.k.a. Bart. His story is Bart the Mysterious: a True Story. https://www.amazon.com/Bart-Mysteriou...
