I believe this is the first (or one of the firsts) attempts in gathering all aspects of what DesignOps entails. DesignOps as a job function is something very new, so new that it will only give a few Linkedin results. It's not gonna be a function that will appear in every company. If fact this short e-book pinpoints 3 occasions:

"It can be hard to gauge when to ramp up a DesignOps function, but I’ve seen three scenarios where it might be time:
• Craft specialization: it’s no longer feasible for roles to blur
• Operating a design team at scale: it’s no longer possible to keep everyone in sync
• Safe harbor: designers need protection from the grind and thrash of creative development"

I personally believe that if you are somehow involved in product development, this is a book to consider, especially if you are often find yourself thinking "how could processes be better"

Not rating this one because I'm not really the target audience, and there were parts I skimmed as a result.

Initial impression though is that this is a solid resource for someone within an organization that needs to start thinking about how to manage their design team and its workflow, with emphasis on the unique characteristics of design disciplines vs. engineering (the latter being what DevOps guides are attuned to). Not a detailed how-to but a great starting point.
