**PRISONED**
I have so many questions about what was real and what wasn't! I'm so confused...
This is the 2nd book I've read by Marni Mann and now I know how brilliantly evil she is. She just keeps twisting the story and taking her characters beyond their limits. Creative and terrifying is how I would describe this but I absolutely loved it!
**ANIMAL**
I'm left a little speechless right now after that ending....so yeah... I don't even know what to say right now.
For the 1st half of the book you get 2 different POV's from the H and h but their stories weren't connecting together so I had no idea what the heck was going on and how it was all going to come together. Then around 50% or so, there's another POV thrown in there that made me go "Hmmm..." Finally, around 70-80% in, I started to piece together the plot and then after 90% the plot twist just hits you in the face like a ton of bricks. And if the plot twist wasn't enough for you, that epilogue will be sure to shock the sh*t out of you! There's all kinds of twists going on with Animal and I'm just kind of in awe on how dark and creative the plot really was. I absolutely love it when an author doesn't hold back on how dark they are willing to go. It's ballsy, which makes me appreciate it that much more.
**MONSTER**
Marni Mann is a twisted master of mind games!
Completely unpredictable, dark and depraved... I’m actually terrified of the things running through her mind where Shank was born.
I thought I had been prepared for the explanation following the massive bomb dropped at the end of Animal, but no.. I was NOT prepared one bit and was still floored at the revelations made in this sequel. Shank is one twisted dude and his confessions had me both laughing hysterically and cringing in disgust at the same time.
The outline of the plot, the web of suspense and deceit that Marni spins is the most brilliant and clever I have ever read.. and definitely worthy of a Quentin Tarantino film.
I bow down to you Marni. You nailed Monster.

Prisoned:
This book was everything I look for in a dark read and then some. It was dark and twisted, it blew me away and had me thinking WTF?!?! It was erotic at times and at times had me questioning the crazy, twisted, kinky part of me and I loved it! I've read a lot of dark stories but this book had a story line that I've never read before, situations that were over the top crazy and I am 100% a new Marni Mann fan. This author's mind is all sorts of f**cked up and I'm hooked! You get a group of poor kids from the wrong side of the tracks who's futures are bleak with no way of ever pulling themselves out of The Heart. There are things that they need to do just in order to survive their day to day lives with no regard for anyone else and together they form a bond that can't be broken. This book is emotional and hard to read, it had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down.
Animal:
Beard is from the first book in the Prison series and this is his story. Beard owns a prison that is "special", you can hire the prison to torture information out of the inmate of just plain get rid of them. Tyler is a average girl, going to college and has no money until her roomate introduces her to a lifestyle that will give her unlimited dollars, unfortunately she doesn't realize until it's too late that she sold her soul to the devil. Beard and Tyler's paths cross...
Monster:
Shank is one disgusting, perverted, twisted and demented individual. That's all I'm going to say about this story.

What’s better than each of these books is all these books in a bundle!!
What a story! This Intense, suspenseful and thrilling series is full of unexpected twists and turns with clues along the way that made the story more exciting to figure out.
This chilling, intense dark psychological you must read!
That said... fasten your seatbelt and prepare yourself for a Dark, intense, and blissful "mindfrackery kerygasm"!!
Marni Man has given us another brilliant twisted story that keeps you guessing what is going to happen next.
I can't even describe it, I'm emotionally drained after reading this captivating story!
You'll have to read it and find out what I mean!

Amazing!
I wanted to write my review after the first story because it was just so brilliant but I had to keep reading. I was so scared the next two stories would disappoint because it’s rare any author can maintain the standard in follow up books. I’m so pleased I was wrong. All three of these stories were amazing. They intertwined, nothing was given away. I had no clue how any would end. Nothing was predictable and each one ended with me thinking ‘WOW!’
I want another book to follow these. ‘Daddy’s’. I wont say more because I don’t want to give anything away, but I would love to read that story!

PRISONED: A Dark story
This was a suspenseful story with a lot of twists.
Kyle is holding onto a lot of guilt after leaving Garin 12 years ago in their poor neighborhood by Atlantic City. They are kidnapped and torture together creating a lot of dark scenes. I love how dominant and strong Garin is. It made for dine nice steamy scenes 🥵🥵🥵.
I did start to get bored in the beginning since caprice scenes felt repetitive. I also didn’t understand how the torture could have been hidden on both their bodies 🤷🏽♀️
The prison guard Beard has a duet I will try to read and will hopefully keep me engaged.

Loved, liked, hated.
I really loved the first book, Prisoned, and I liked the 2nd book, Animal, but I hated the 3rd book, Monster and I love serial killers!! I liked Toy, Huck and Erin, but Shank was a sick F¥€K! He wasn't right since he was a child! Poor Hai, some friend Shank was! Also, since Rigs was her dad, did that mean Mina was her mom?

If you are looking for a good story to read. This is it it's unlike anything I have read before. It has it all suspense, romance and angst.
