William Rivers is dead one way or another. If the zombies don't kill him, his worsening pneumonia will.
For the last few months, ever since everything went to hell, William has been surviving however he can in a small Colorado mountain town. Unable to get home, he's been living on the roof of a gas station at the edge of town with a Ukrainian cook named Anton. But as William's cough worsens and his lungs fill with inevitable death, the young man is faced with the deadly prospect of going into town and braving the zombie horde to find some antibiotics from the pharmacy there. When he and Anton encounter new terrifying zombies that they haven't seen before, will the two of them be able to find the antibiotics William needs and get back to their gas station sanctuary alive? Can William cure his malady?
This is a novella (18,000 words) related to my "Apocalypse Gate" EMP S-H-T-F series. That series involves interdimensional portals unleashing all kinds of havoc and monsters on Earth, and Colorado develops a bit of a zombie problem. Do you love guns, tactical realism, and monsters? Are you a fan of cosmic horror and dark fantasy / sci-fi? Love the Mist and Cabin in the Woods? Lovecraft? Doom? Stranger Things? EMP and Prepper Survival? This story is full of terror, suspense, and bad language. If you can dig it, strap in for a ride to Hell! Check out my website to learn more about my series and give-aways!

Monster Hunting for Fun and Profit (Books 1-6 + Box Sets + Extras) Travel to parallel and bizarre universes to hunt monsters for profit and adventure … with dinosaurs. Less language and dread than Apocalypse Gate, and boatloads more adventure. A little less horror, but a whole lot of focus on feeling cosmically insignificant. Think “Rick and Morty” with guns, gold, and mythological beasts. Six books and two omnibuses, plus short stories and extras.
Apocalypse Gate (Books 1-3 + Box Set + Extras) Modern, dark and violent, full of chaos and dread, bad language, wild and crazy monsters, and alien/demonic worlds, this series follows six sets of deep characters trying to survive the end of the world. You haven’t read anything like this. It starts with an EMP, societal collapse, and prepper/SHTF survival, then it gets weird and horrific. Three books, one omnibus, plus short stories and extras.

I have too say that I liked some aspects of this story but I also must say that I have not read any of the main story so I really don't know what happened in this world . All I do know is that so.e scientists did an experiment that when wrong and released all manner of creatures on and unsuspecting world who was not prepared . As for this book it was so bleak and so hopeless and sad that I just felt like DANG it was short and sweet and made me give a dang for these two characters . Only to have that hope crushed it did lead off with a open ended plot so maybe the last guy makes it who knows .
Hey Eddie, hey Eddie, You're so fine you blow my mind, hey Eddie. Enjoyed reading this book. People were real, situation was unreal. I like it. 2nd review I've ever done.
