This book was a surprise. I have been married for 30 years and have been chaffing at wife always wanting it her way. I was looking for a marriage counselling book and found them mostly boring; then I stumbled into this one. SUPRIZE, not at all what the title implies. It is really a very good book for the 10% of couples who wish to live in a Female Led Relationship. Now note to guys, this doe snot mean you emasculated or humiliated or used as a slave. Most of the book is about very practical ways to make relationships work in a FLR. Essentially if the FLD is the agree upon mode, then letting her decide makes everything run much more smoothly. Streamlined, the arguing and compromise is gone. The book begins with saying let us look at your current relationship and clarify it without changing it. It then moves slowly up to more and more FLR from very little to almost complete. Yes guys you are always respected and your opinions and ideas are respected. As with all Relationship Advice, you take what works for you and leave the rest. The book is mainly written for men in FLR, but woman can learn a lot too. Interestingly the book is intended to be read aloud. It is simple and straightforward. I suggest on chapter a week. Well worth it!

Good job

I enjoyed reading this one. The writing is good, the sub topics were carefully chosen, and it has a clear mission of guidance for any couple that would like to transition to a female led household.

Too many ebooks on the subject are poorly constructed. The writing is poor. More importantly, there is a heavy handed emphasis on female superiority that is very unattractive. Female superiority as a concept is the basis for one of the kink subcultures. Fortunately, this author gave a balanced treatment of what female led relationship means. It is one way of deliberately arranging power and control in the relationship. With a lot of conscious thought, true consent, and setting a clear intention a couple can both reduce stress and really enjoy each other. FLR can be a lot of fun. An FLR is meant to be beneficial to both partners. Checking in with your partner on a regular basis is key.

I, personally, hate the porn depictions of femdom in which the female rules by intimidation and various forms of violence. Anyone can see that this is a nasty mimicry of male domination. The best book you’ll find if you’re serious about this.
Key says it best in the intro, “this is not secretly a book about sex”.

Being interested in FLR, many of the other books you’ll encounter are just books about kink. This one’s a substantive guide for those who want advice for a relationship, not just the bedroom.

I wish I’d run into this book much sooner.

This book impressed me. It certainly reads as a more sincere, focused and cogent text than I expected.
Usually clear and with advise that is well though out.
This book is best for couples/men who are convinced that they wish to live a Wife Led Marriage or in FLR. This book does help the male focus on exactly what he wants and helps him codify his desire to serve into a realistic framework of loving submission.

If you, like me, are entering a WLM/FLR, this text will be useful.
