Born in small-town Texas, Cara Carnes was a princess, a pirate, fashion model, actress, rock star and Jon Bon Jovi’s wife all before the age of 13.
In reality, her fascination for enthralling worlds took seed somewhere amidst a somewhat dull day job and a wonderful life filled with family and friends. When she’s not cemented to her chair, Cara loves travelling, photography and reading.
Book 2.5 of the Arsenal series though really it is a short novella meant to bridge the gap between books 2 & 3 and I think it does a good job of doing so. Since we fell in love with the girls in the first two books it is nice to follow them on their wedding journey though contains a few surprise. No real danger in sight for a brief second so we can really get into some of the emotions. i have to say that it made me emotional and even more in love with girls plus their guys. If you have read the other books then you will enjoy this short story as well. I loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Dallas is so frustrated, every lead on finding his son becomes a dead end. As the Team returns home from the latest disappointment, Mary and Vi's elation at having their men home is overshadowed by the sense of failure.
I love the support all of them have for Dallas, the determination never to give up the hunt.
There are many surprises in here as well. Dylan's Mom and now Judson's have been planning a plotting. Mary and Dylan were more than happy to surrender their wedding plans to his Mom, but now something is in the works and Vi and Mary can't figure out what they're up to.
I love all the little things in this one that form the bridge between Sight Lines and Blood Vows. Lots of emotion, and plenty of heat will have you turning the pages.
Mary and Vi have devote the bulk of their time looking for Dallas's son. Each failure they take personally and are wearing themselves thin. Jud and Dylan realize they need to stay on site to protect their women from themselves. They put Gage on Dallas to keep him from going rogue. Momma's Mason and Jenson have teamed up an plan to throw a wedding for both Mary and Vi their dream wedding. Security is going to be a nightmare. Fast paced and steamy. Great novella to lead into the next book.
This is a short story meant to bridge book 2 and 3. Its short, fast and its The Arsenal!!! I am so in love with this series! I just can't get enough and the author just can't write the books fast enough. If its The Arsenal i got to have it and read it. Addictive, funny, heartbreaking, heartmelting . Can't wait for the next book
Loved this small.novella!! It gave us a quick pulse check on all the characters we have been Reading about plus some others. I love that the author is including these little novellas after each main story. Happy Reading
Another mission where Dallas's son hasn't been found. Dylan and Jud's moms are planning a double wedding behind their backs. Mary's pregnacy is taking it's toll on her. I'm sure things are about to get interesting.
I am loving this series. I admit I did take awhile to go on after Sight Lines. I read this short gap story and when I saw how Dallas treated Kameron, I had a hard time picking up again. I knew he'd eat his words but didn't want anything bad to happen before then. Obviously, I got passed it.
I adore everything by Cara Carnes, the short stories in between are a great treat that always gives you more of a look at the end of the last book and then introduces the next book.
Mary and Vi are waiting for their men to return from looking for Dallas's son. Something is brewing between Momma Mason and Jud's mom. They are very secretive. When the reason comes out, will everyone be ok with it?
