A wonderful conclusion to this amazing and kinky love story

This was almost like a super-long epilogue, a very wonderful way to end Thalia and James' story. It's shorter than the other books, teetering on the edge between novella and novel, really well written and totally captivating.

The book is a wonderful balance of some very sweet scenes demonstrating the deep love this couple share and some super hot kinkery pokery! Given the original story, overall it's quite a gentle read that nicely crosses the t's and dots the i's.

This isn't a stand alone book and you need to have read Security Binds Her at the very least. It does contain spoilers for books 2 and 3, one of which is a major event. This book perfectly ties up James and Thalia's part of this story, whilst cleverly laying the ground for at least Beth's story in the future. I will definitely be reading those books!

I love you when finish a book/series and there's such a feeling of peace and satisfaction. Like the author understood everything you wanted from the characters and wrapped it up in a nice (maybe a little dirty and kinky) package for you.

After watching Thalia and James find each other, only to lose each other and have to fight their way back, this book was the perfect ending for this incredible couple. I loved seeing their friends from Purgatory all come together for their wedding, each bringing their own special blend of crazy to the mix.

I would highly recommend this book but to get the full effect of this couple you will want to start their story from the beginning in Security Binds Her (Thalia #1).

Best HEA ever

We met James and Thalia in Security Binds Her when he saved her from a darkness few of us can comprehend. Their story continued on for the rest of the Thalia series. Now Jennifer Bene has given lovers of the series a tremendous gift. The story of their wedding, attended by all their friends from Purgatory, is a sweet, steamy joyful ride. It has everything you would expect including a little intrigue and quite a few surprises. There are delicious extras at the end and this just made me want to read the series all over again. Thanks Jennifer

The perfect short resolution to the series, James and Thalia finally tie the knot amd get their kinky happily ever after. The wedding and all that led up to it was beauitful and not without some traditional naughtiness thrown in. The ceremony was lovely and the vows had me welling up. A completely different book to the others but so needed in order to let this series come to a close.

I loved the bonus scenes at the end, we see the last reminder of the horrifying circumstances that led James to Thalia burned away to ashes and a sexy as sin scene to follow. ;)

I enjoyed the sneak peek into James and Kalen's past and their own introduction into this fascinating world. I find it fucking hilarious that Kalen never ceases to burn the ears off his priests in confession and that he keeps it up across

Total props for the accurate Scottish slang used in this book, well researched!

Off to read the mini Christmas story now! I need a sandwich, Jennifer keeps hinting and teasing about this scene and I really need it. If it doesnt deliver I will be staring hard at her until she writes it.

The fourth book in the Thalia series is a true delight. From the first scene in the brides and bridesmaids room, preparing for the wedding, you are enveloped in the feeling of love and belonging. All of the Purgatory family, James's family and Thalia's "Badass" family are there to witness those two celebrate their commitment to each other. The poetic language that is Ms. Bene's trademark elicits a deep feeling of contentment, whether she's describing everyday or kink scenes. She even managed to make my eyes wet with this sensual, light, and loving ending of J and T's story.
But to satisfy the feeling of outrage about past wrongs, Thalia and all her "girls" even get the present of rightful retribution.
And at the very end of the book we get the present of a promise of more stories from the Purgatory world.
The Bonusscene is a sweet, and deeply moving piece of kinky poetry !!
Ms. Bene surprises with every new book. You might think after a while the scenes might get repetitive, but she manages to grow in expressive language and inventive ideas with every story.
Oh and not to forget the cover, the visual promise of light is fulfilled in many satisfying ways. ;D
I volontarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Acceptance, redemption and the best wedding gift. Thalia returns to London with a purpose and although her forum is a success story, she is still missing two very important people. She is riddled with guilt because she was able to move forward and so many others have not been. The decision to cleanse herself of any trace of Anthony and Marcus. A commitment and wedding day like no other, surrounded by their kinky and vanilla friends.

“What does perfection feel like?”

OMG!!! This has got to be one or THE best endings to a series that I've ever read!! I absolutely LOVED the Thalia Series. LOVED. After reading the first book I couldn't put it down until the last book was finished! With that said, be sure to read the previous books before jumping into this one. Trust me, you'll love it!

“I love you, James. I never thought I’d get this kind of happily ever after — but then again I never thought I’d meet someone like you.”

James is one of my all time FAVORITE book boyfriends and Thalia and his wedding is everything I hoped it would and more! Surrounded by their loved ones, a super romantic ceremony, and a steamy wedding night? Ummmm YES PLEASE! Thank you Jennifer for giving Thalia and James the Happily Ever After that they SO much deserved!

“I love you more than I ever thought it possible to love another person. And I will not just stand beside you as your husband, your partner, I will move heaven and earth for you, because you are heaven on earth to me, Thalia.”

A nice exclamation point at the end of the story. My only disappointment was the lack of a scene I was waiting for since book 2. Overall I liked the entire series.

Tying the Knot is the fourth and final book in the Thalia series by Jennifer Bene. It's an absolutely wonderful conclusion to the series. If you've read the first three books, I won't really have to summarize any of the previous books in this review. I do want to say that I've been delighted that I've had the chance to read this entire series and make this journey with James and Thalia. Being with both of them from the very beginning, through the terror, pain, uncertainty, joy, fear, delight, and unexpected twists and turns throughout the entire series has been a real privilege for me. To say that it's been a roller coaster ride of emotions of all kinds filled with both light and dark, good and evil, and every facet of human nature would be an understatement of gigantic proportions. I want to thank Jennifer Bene for her hard work in creating this series. I am so very glad that I listened to a number of friends and started this series. It's been one of the best reading experiences I've had in quite awhile.

As I've said before, Jennifer Bene is a masterful storyteller. Each book in this series is completely riveting and compelling and holds your interest from the first to the last page. Even through the worst of times in James and Thalia's lives, there's great beauty and eroticism to each story. In my opinion, the main theme of this entire series is hope and love. Despite whatever obstacles stand in the way, there is always hope for the future.

I'd like to make a final comment. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit BDSM sexual scenes with explicit language. If you don't enjoy erotic romance, PLEASE CAREFULLY consider your purchase. PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY BOOK IN A GENRE YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY AND LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works hard to provide a quality work product, and if you know before you buy the book that you'll object to the subject matter, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. But if you do enjoy unconventional BDSM erotic romances, Ms. Bene's entire Thalia series is definitely one I would recommend.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

The Thalia was my first ever series from Jennifer Bene. I have so much mad love for it because I went through the highs and the lows with it. It is also one of my favourite dark BDSM books of 2015. Lets just say it holds a special place in my heart. When I first read the first book, my heart was on an uphill battle. I cringed. I was shocked and overwhelmed by all the dark things going on in this book. There were some scenes that were so cruel that I ad to cover my eyes. But it was damn good. It gave me chills and shivers when I was reading it. As the series progressed, I was on the edge. I felt the thriller. I felt the suspense. I felt the love. Thalia and James are a statement to that love. I love them together. Despite all what they been through, they showed me even if you face so many struggles, you will find love and happiness.

Tying the Knot is the fourth book in the Thalia series and gives the happy ending I have been craving for Thalia and James. Sometimes you go to go through the rain to find sunshine. And Thalia went through dark clouds, thunderstorms and lightning to find their sunshine. They did in this book. I was so overcome with happiness because I followed this couple from the first book. I felt so much peace and love when I read Tying the Knot. It was about love. It was friendship. It was finally about letting go all the pain. Throw i some hot BDSM action, the whole story became spicy and enticing. Everything I needed in this book was there and I am so happy that Jennifer Bene gave us.

As we final close the chapter on Thalia and James, I am overjoyed with their happy ending. They needed it. Looking forward from books from some secondary characters. Thank you Jennifer Bene for giving this beautiful and heartwarming gem of a story. Everyone needs to pick up this story. It is totally worth it. Must Read.

Once again, we are back to our dear old friends, Thalia and James. They have been through so very much, and now it's time for all good things to come to them.

Thalia and James are going to tie the knot in front of all their family and their friends. The whole gang from Purgatory have shown up to help celebrate and to stand with them at their wedding. Kalen can't help but be himself at the wedding breakfast and has to try to cause trouble, which made me laugh, especially when it came to James' threats.

Has Thalia been able to stand on her own and become the person she was destined to be? Have all the women she helped bring together been able to come to terms with what has happened to them? Is Anthony still a threat?

I love getting back to see Thalia and James. She has gone through all kinds of hell to find her Prince Charming and her HEA. I love seeing how she has been able to grow and change and how the love between Thalia and James grows and deepens.

Jennifer Bene has another strong book on her hands, and I'm so glad to get the closure of the story.

I did receive an ARC for my honest review.

A Perfect Tying Up To Thalia and James' Tale ❤

Even though it's a sad moment for me, this perfectly written 'extra' to the Thalia series wraps up James and Thalia's story beautifully. I have fallen head over heels for this couple and their feisty, chaotic and very sexy motley crew of Purgatory family that I can't wait for more from this lot - whatever form Jennifer Bene chooses to tease us with. The 'extras' were a short steamy delight too 😉

I'm SO looking forward to Beth's story and I know that I'm due another hard but rewarding read as Ms. Bene once again works her dark and sexy talent into what I know will be another firm favourite.....and I've a feeling a sexy mercenary may pop up (swoon) but, if reading Jennifer Bene's work has taught me anything, it's simply to flow with the dark and expect the unexpected!

Another great glimpse into why James and Thalia make such a beautiful couple, Tying the Knot is a bittersweet ending but one that makes my heart soar! A perfect ending for their HEA.

This was an amazing series. Logically, I should despise some one who would buy another human being, but everything about James compels the reader to love him and hope he and Thalia have a happy ending. Thalia is an incredibly strong woman and survives kidnappings and brutality without losing her ability to trust and love, and as despicable as Marcus and Anthony (especially Anthony who has no redeeming qualities and Marcus doesn't ' have many) are, without their heinous actions Thalia would not have met James so I guess they do have a very limited purpose, but no tears were shed with their departure. This series has many dark elements but it also has moments of humour and tenderness. The time at Purgatory is insightful and ocassionally humorous and the short stories the author includes in the series are equally wonderful. However, be warned there are many potential triggers in these books, but if you are not affected, they are a compelling read I would recommend to anyone who likes dark romance

This series was a roller coaster of emotions taking us from the darkest days and drawing us, with much relief, well into the light and it was worth every sniffle, profanity uttered, dark chocolate eaten, and batteries burned through.

And where but in one of Jennifer Bene’s stories would an aristocrat have a mercenary as a groomsman. Okay, there might be others but go with me.

If you haven’t started the series and you love your erotica on the dark side then you need to start with “Security Binds Her” and then work your way through the four stories culminating with all things happily ever after. From there, it’s just a matter of feeding your addiction over the course of a few days until you get to “Tying the Knot.” Plan to call in sick because you won’t be able to put the stories down.

I'm not crying, you're crying!

This book was unbelievably beautiful. I've never been one for weddings, real life or fiction, but this book made me want to get married! And oh my goodness, the way the first two or three chapters flowed had me so happy and dying laughing.

The friendships and James and Thalia's relationship were already amazing before this book, however, this book really drove them home for me! Also, I'm so glad Maggie had already had the babies - it was a nice little surprise for me.

This book is a little bittersweet, because I honestly feel as though I'll never be able to get enough of Thalia and James and this was the last book they'll be prominently featured in. *sighs* I guess I'll have to settle for rereading the series on a regular basis.

This was such a fitting ending to this series. I adore that the author gave us more than just a novella to end James and Thalia's story.

First off, I really liked how the author put the description of the characters at the beginning instead of spending a ton of time writing about past events we already know in the book. I hate when authors rehash stuff from previous books, so this was perfect!

Second, everything else about this was wonderful. It was sweeter and lighter than the other books in the series, which I found very fitting. At the same time, we still had some very steamy moments between Thalia and James that I enjoyed!

Overall this was a very fulfilling ending to a great series!

I first discovered this author when I read book one in this series, Security Binds Her, and I was hooked. I devoured that book and all of the other books she has written. You can imagine my excitement when this book was released! I have loved Thalia, the character, throughout this series. I have cheered, cried, and laughed with her and this book made me cry some more, but I also laughed and smiled. The supporting characters are fantastic and the family they have created together is phenomenal. If you haven't read this series, you are missing something spectacular. No spoilers from me, read and enjoy for yourself.

James and Thalia finally get their happily ever after! I loved the chaos before the wedding, so typical, yet so atypical, but all done James and Thalia style! They were so hot together, without being sugarcoated sweet. The Master and his Pet were definitely in residence. They are such a sexy couple, and despite the little fears that Thalia still faced, she knew in her heart that James was it for her. What a fantastic way to end the series! Loved all the characters appearing to support this wonderful event, with an amazing ending to their story. And the bonus shorts were also great additions to the book.

Awesome Wrap Up!!

Bene did an awesome job wrapping up this series! Pulled at some heart strings and made you fall in love with the characters in the book even more. Can't wait to see what she spins off from this series. I love how her mind goes. Giggles! I loved traveling this journey with Thalia and James. The love that grew between them and the turmoil they had to go through for their happy ever after. James moving mountains to make sure Thalia is safe. Let you read these stories to see what all he does and just see what a bad ass Thalia really is. Bene is just as bad ass. 😁. I definitely recommend this series to read.

Well deserved wedding bells for Thalia and James
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my 8th book by Jennifer, and the 4th in this series. I love an author who writes in dual point of view. Thalia and James are getting married, but there are some behind the scene stories that make you laugh and cry. One of Thalia’s wedding presents is to put a part of her past behind her and especially for the other women who had been abducted and freed. This was a short story but well worth the read to bring a happily ever after for Thalia and James.

The last book in The Thalia Series and what a beautiful ending of the series. I loved this series and Thalia’s journey from darkness into the light. This book will make you laugh out loud, melt your heart and get you all hot and bothered. It was a beautiful wedding and amazing wedding night. I could just picture it all and I was so happy to see the whole Purgatory gang back together. Also loved the two bonus stories.

Such a great ending to Thalia and James story

Wedding days always full of uncertainty and worry but this wedding was only full of hope and fulfilled dreams. Ms. Bene has written the perfect non dark ending to Thalia and James life in a way only she can. Hot, sexy punishment filled sex scenes and two short bonus chapters to explain a little more.this was a quick and enjoyable read for me and I felt like an honored guest at the wedding.

FINALLY!!!! We get to see James and Thalia tie the knot!!! With everything this couple has been through, it's just great to see them finally able to get married. And having all their friends around to help them celebrate is the best. I loved this whole book and while it's sad when a series ends, Jennifer Bene ties everything up so nicely. Makes me want to go back and read the series again!! Excellent job!!!

Oh what an outstanding ending to a even more amazing series. This book had me crying throughout the whole story that Thalia after all she had endured finally gets her white knight and her forever happily ever after. Phew I feel like I've been put through the ringer with this series, but this ending was phenomenal. This series is definitely a must read.
