Liam Hart can’t believe that someone would come to his office and make him look like a fool. Unable to let it go, he has to learn more. The second he lays eyes on the woman being held by his security…an unexpected feeling of possession comes over him.
Renee needs the money. All she has to do is give the man his baby, and she can find a new apartment. She’s instantly met with hostility and denial. Heck, she’s not even allowed to see the man to show him his son.
Before she’s escorted out, the elusive baby daddy enters the lobby. Their eyes lock, and she knows the boy is his. What hits her unexpectedly is that she wants the jerk.
Can two people whose lives are unexpectedly tied together make it work?
-no cheating -no ow/om drama -no violence of a sexual nature -no real pushing away -great epilogue -C.M. Steele always delivers in the epilogue department. I hope that a couple characters from this book get a story of their own
He took over his father's company years ago and now he's a wealthy and successful businessman.
One day, a woman comes to his office with a baby boy claiming he's the father but he's sure the baby's not his. He orders to escort them out but when he goes out of his room and sees her surrounded by his security, his attraction to her is instant and he wants to know her even though he doesn't know why she's lying. Who is the baby's real father? Why does the baby looks like him?
In this absurd tale, our double virgin couple meet when the h shows up to hand over a "child" to the H. She thinks he is the father, he thinks she is the mother, they still get carried away by lust and bang. Soon revelations happen, and everything ends in a HEA.
Only thing I liked was the epilogue, otherwise the story did not make sense to me.
Liam Hart is 25 years old and a very successful businessman. He took over his father’s business when he died a few years ago and saved it from bankruptcy. His father was a philanderer who broke his mom’s heart so Liam vowed to never be like him and is still a virgin. Renee is 19 years old and one of the clients of the salon she works at paid her $3000 to deliver something to Liam. Renee is desperate so she agrees to bring Max, a one year old to Liam’s office and she’s told he’s the boy’s father. When Liam gets interrupted during a meeting by his secretary saying he has a child he knows it’s bullshit. He doesn’t expect to be completely captivated by the woman he thinks is the boy’s mother. He doesn’t allow Renee to get a word in edgewise when he shuttles her and Max to his apartment. Renee is overwhelmed by the situation and also very attracted to Liam.
Renee, in desperate need of money, agrees to do a favor for one of the regular clients at the hair salon she works at. Yes, it's a wacky request, but how hard could it be to take a one-year-old to the father who doesn't know he exists?
Liam had worked hard to restore his dad's company from the ruin he drove it to, as well as ensuring he was nothing like the old man. Which is why, when a woman visits his office claiming to have his son, he knows it's impossible.
But when Liam sees Renee, his attraction to her is immediate, as is his desire to claim her. Even though he hates that she tried to lie about the boy's paternity.
When the truth is revealed, as is Max's actual connection to Liam, new problems arise as Max's mom created strife within the family. And was the reason Liam and his brother were disowned by their dad before his death.
As Liam and Renee begin their relationship, realizing it's forever, they also work through the issues concerning gaining full custody of Max, and that the woman who birthed him pays for lies and crimes.
One-click now and follow along as truths are revealed, hearts begin healing, and true love starts.
Renee believing that she is helping out a single mother by dropping off baby Max to his father finds herself in the middle of a scandal that she never saw coming. Now trapped in a condo facing the wrath of the most hottest man she has ever seen looking after who she believes is his son. Fighting her attraction to a man she wants beyond reason.
Liam cannot believe that she is trying to pass her son off as his that is a physical impossibility but one look at Baby Max and there is no way that he can deny that they are related. He knows that what he feels for her is more than anything he has ever expected and cannot see a future where she is not his. Can he convince her that no matter the past they should be together and is he about to get an unexpected shock himself?
Quick read with enough drama to keep the story interesting and with plenty of surprises along the way. Fingers crossed that Liam’s brother gets a book though .
Definitely enjoyed this story. Read it a while ago but didn't leave reviews back then, so here we are. Honestly, in the beginning of the story, I just wanted to smack the spit out of the H's mouth for his behavior but having his thoughts allowed me to understand his reasons better. Of course, I ended up absolutely adoring him. Safe, dual POV, dual virgins, no abuse, no cheating, possessive/alpha H, epilogue at about 9 months and 15 years.
An ok short story. The storyline lacked detail as did the main characters Renee and Liam. Liam had a half brother who was a soldier, but he never made an appearance in the story except to be mentioned.
Another gem!!! In C.M books i did enjoy it!! Very quick fluffy and with some drama tossed in..
Liam at first was abit dickish and its understandable when a woman you don't know is claiming she has your kid but once he saw her things changed he knew he never slept with her but thinking his brother got to her and its his child, media and more drama happen so he takes her away even when she sass him back, few days with her he's fighting wanting to claim her but jealous until the misunderstanding is clear.. Renee sweet sassy and brokeish thought she was doing a good thing and no good deed comes well drama free well that didn't happen lol
Low angst, no ow/om drama, no cheating, drama, sexy times, not a manwhore and both are virgins
Instalove/lust Safe No condoms Hea Epilogue 15 years later

I normally enjoy CM Steele but this book was awful. The was no real flow to it. Renee made a deal with a practical stranger to drop a baby off to his father. Umm, ok. Liam immediately sends her away knowing there was no way he could have a child, but looks at her and decides to take her home with him and leave her alone without talking to her. Umm, ok. Renee never tells Liam the baby isn't hers and that she needs to get back to the apartment she's paying for and her job. Umm, ok. Once they started having sex the entire story just fell apart. There were never any dates or late night talks. The writing was lacking. During the climax, a character tells another to drop the gun, but there was zero mention of a gun being drawn! I do not recommend this book.
Maybe this is one of my unnecessarily mean reviews but I just,,,can't. The writing was sloppy, the storyline was rushed, the characters were underdeveloped, and it all made the book into a disaster. I've read better Wattpad books.

19 y/o Renee took 3thousand to deliver a baby to 25 y/o Liam. Liam took her to his condo and locked them there. He suspected it was his brother’s baby. He couldn’t resist her and he fucked her only to find out she was a virgin like him. Cherry was his stepmother, the baby mother tried to killed him but got arrested. Renee and Liam got married and they took care of his lil brother, Max.

I know people are saying all sorta bad things about this book, but guys! come onnn...everybody has different tastes ryt?
I woke up with my parents shouting at each-other, then my mom was crying, my father left for the office by slamming the door, then i fought with my boyfriend. And then at the end of the day i developed a headache.
I was in NO condition to read a books which has too much angst and complicated plots which require thinking...so i picked this book JUST to bring the rage and emotions down a notch, because i am sure at the end of teh day i would have started crying if this book wasn't there to distract me.
Anyways, It's time for spoilers...if u don't want them, kindly turn around.
%H-Virgin,mid 20s, CEO hottie.
%h-19,virgin,a pauper,and has a baby(not of her own)
^No-separation ^Slight push from H's side becoz of misunderstanding ^Each-others-one-and-only. ^HEA. When it's revealed whose baby it IS.... u'll be S.H.O.C.K.E.D. AMAZING PLOT! Ms.Steele.
This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was left wanting more. I liked Renee but I couldn’t understand why it took her a while to tell Liam that she wasn’t Max’s mother. I understood that he didn’t give her much of a chance considering he avoided her but she didn’t try that hard either. I liked Liam but I wanted to shout at him to get his head out of his ass and talk to Renee. The chemistry between them is clear to see and I really liked them as a couple. I just wish that this story were a little longer so that I could see more of them in a relationship. I loved that Liam got his revenge on Cherry and that karma bit her on her fake ass. My only disappointment was that this book wasn’t longer, I wanted more. That being said, I enjoyed this entire story. The epilogue is sweet. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
I couldn't remember the title of this book and I almost googled "asshole virgin hero turns away virgin heroine with abandoned baby". That pretty much sums up the first half of the book, as it turns out.
I read about this book a while back and I strongly remembered that the hero was a straight up dick. Most of C.M. Steele's heroes are, which is why I read her stuff in moderation. Sure, he thinks the heroine is a gold digger and later thinks that she slept with his brother and is pawning the baby off as his. But his comments and actions are really nasty. He never lets the heroine speak up. Now, she was dumb as rocks. She even says it's stupid to sleep with him because she thinks he won't take responsibility for a baby that is surely his. She also suspects him of having mistreated the OW and she STILL has unprotected sex with him.
Incredibly flawed characters, but the drama was interesting for a minute.
Renee is paid $3000 to deliver a baby boy to Liam and let him know the baby is his son. Liam is so confused when his building security tells him that there is a woman in the lobby trying to leave a baby boy with them claiming it's Liam's son. Liam knows damn well that the boy is not his and can't understand why Renee is lying, because he's absolutely positive he's never laid eyes on Renee, let alone had s*x with her. Grab this fantastic story and find out what happens when two virgins come together and try to figure out what is going on. Definitely a must read!!!
Renee needs the money but she didn’t realize that confronting the person would be a challenge much less change her world.
Liam knows that something is going on when some woman shows up with a child saying it belongs to him. Once Liam sees her he sees his match and now he going to claim her for all eternity.
These two are a match made in heaven Renee with her spunk and Liam with his smarts and sexiness.
I just can’t seem to get enough of these books and will always a top on my list.
Unexpected indeed, this plot created the perfect introduction to two characters you can't help but love. It is a sweet story mixed with angst, drama and unconditional love. It was a book I couldn't put down, it's an easy one sit read on a winters night. C.M's mind is a brilliant thing, everything she gives is unexpected, addictive and brilliant.
Fabulous quick read and I must say the storyline is great and must admit did keep me guessing which way this was going. Characters relate and interact smoothly and there are no empty gaps in the story which can often happen with quick reads. Loved it.
