3-3.5 Stars good start to what should be a good series!!!!
This was a quick read filled with INSTA lust for sure! For me, I do like a good insta-lust/love book BUT it has to be done just right and although I enjoyed it, for me, it was too "insta" but that's just me.
I was graciously gifted an ARC and for that I am so appreciative. I think this author will succeed as time goes on and she gains more experience and once she finds her "groove" I believe she will have a good writing future ahead!

A hot and fun love story
This was a very entertaining love story. A prince looking for a marriage of convenience but meets a matchmaker that steels his heart, but thinks she is a gold digger. Ella doesn’t want to like the man that comes into her office, but she is undeniably attracted to him. Which leads to a night of passion with a left over surprise. She doesn’t want him, but Aleks won’t give up. Can they find happiness?

Royally short
This was a novella to be sure. It felt shorter than your typical novella really. I enjoyed the story and really there was so much potential for more I was a bit disappointed. Clearly we could have seen plenty of scenes back in Aleks' home country, especially with the king who was framed as an antagonist but with no real scenes. As with a lot of romance novellas the characters f lol in love a bit too quickly, but that aside I enjoyed the story. It just really needed a little more meat and length to round it out.

This fantastic short or book one in the Crowned series and it features Aleks and Ella. He’s so jaded and thinks ALL women are out for his money and position. He’s royalty from a different country and she’s a matchmaker. The sexiness is off the charts and the insta-lust is perfect.
This is a complete story written in very few words. The characters are well developed and with great personalities. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

A hot, sweet and fun novella .... a great start to a series I'd really like to read more of. It was just a little bit cliche in parts but I still really enjoyed it. A great summer read.
