Ordinary Radicals: A Return to Christ-Centered Discipleship

Rate this book
How do we live out the gospel in our lives?

What we believe about the gospel determines how we will follow the Great Commission and make disciples. Radical Discipleshiplays bare the roots of the gospel, reinforcing the command and privilege of the Great Commission.
Church leadership must be focused on discipleship. If you have a leadership problem, you have a discipleship problem, and if you have a discipleship problem, you have a Great Commission problem.

Why bother with discipleship? Because the cost of non-discipleship is too great! Living with radical abandonment for His glory, faithful adherence to His person, and urgent obedience to His ministry is the only way to live a successful, fruitful Christian life. This book offers a step-by-step process for living out the Great Commission to revolutionize the world through the local church.

I was fortunate to be on the pre-launch list for this gem. Jonathan Hayashi presents discipleship in light of what the gospel really is. This book has challenged me in several ways. Favorite portions were the discussion on discipleship as messy becuase it involves messy people and what ordinary people like me can be doing to grow the body. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to grow spiritually. Hayashi will challenge you to live out the gospel in your daily life--by growing as a disciple of Jesus and making disciples.

Such a needed book in this time as the days of gathering by attracting others into our churches are becoming less and less effective. To go out we
must GO make disciples. This book gives great insights from discipleship studies in the past, and gives a vision for what it will mean in the future if we just obey the radical command to make disciples. If we are to multiply disciples, being radical does not mean going to extremes, it just means being able to be obedient as God calls us. Easy read with great content. You won’t be disappointed with this great resource.
