Four and a half
Ana doesn’t always seem to have the greatest luck and it’s wonderful that she’s finally found out exactly what she is but did it have to leave her with tattoos that are interfering with her innate magic ? Maybe it’s best not to mention that her shield isn’t functioning properly as Ana is sent to try to stop the insidious dark magic that’s snaking across the Celtic Otherworld . Ana might be the Warrior Druid but to fully understand her powers and get rid of the black stain that’s creeping everywhere Ana will need to complete a journey that takes her where she really didn’t want to go, her death !
Now I’m not usually a big reader of YA stories but this author delivers an exciting adventure that steps into the history books to bring something wholly unique . I am however a huge fan of the way she mixes actual historical events with myths and legends and this book certainly has been clearly inspired by a wealth of different stories and cultures. Yes this particular series obviously focuses on Celtic legends but there’s still other enemies that if you think about history, particularly in Great Britain make absolute sense. Obviously my lips are sealed but even if you know little of that particular piece of history this is a cracking story.
I’m very much enjoying seeing Ana embrace her slowly emerging abilities and particularly like that it’s not always easy for her as it makes her endearing and more realistic. In this book we see a huge step forward in her relationship with Lachlan although if I’m honest he’s not my favourite love interest as I think I prefer a more dangerous bad boy . What I can say is that those three pesky but adorable felines show up large and proud here and at times hog the limelight with their hysterical antics. Plus the author gives the sisters a most precious gift but my lips are sealed. Fast, fun, exciting and emotional as yet again we go on a rollercoaster of a ride through the imagination of Ms Hall.

The reason I'm enjoying this series is because it's pure wish fulfillment at the speed of light. There's no time for angst or ruminations or longer internal monologues about pesky emotions. We're fucking killing demons here. Not to say there isn't any internal conflict or emotional issues, but we don't have to dwell on them. It's acknowledged and then we move on because there are demons to kill. So it's nonstop action and everything works out in the end and la de da and I'm digging it right now. If you want something deep that'll have you on the edge of your seat, go elsewhere. If you want fast fun with a whole lot of action, start with book #1 in this series.

Riveting and at times suspenseful. I loved it!

this book is hopeless. i only read it because i wanted to increase my reading speed and typing speed by writing this useless recap. so here it goes.
Ana was on a task from the academy with Lavender and Angus to save Melusine and her shop that was attacked by Kobolds (some kind of gnomes). unfortunately, her shield went haywire (bcs of her tattoo?) but she managed to kill 2 of the kobolds. after that, they returned back to UP stronghold and ana just told bree that she was the druid when they saw Maira (red haired girl from Cocidius's realm) and 2 robed dudes who asked UP for help, specifically Ana because there was a dark magic that wracked havoc on the Otherworld, Celtic's realm of god and afterworld.
of course Ana wanted to go and save them, but the elder, Owyn, also offered to help. and of course Lachlan had to come to (he didn't even voice any opinion when he found out ana was the druid🙄). they went immediately to the city Oppidum in the Otherworld and she immediately met her mom. she confirmed that it was her in the dream because one of the future showed her dead if she embraced all of the magics. but she couldn't deny that they needed her help to fight the dark magic.
they told her to go to the sacred grove and her magic would take her there. they rode for an hour, found a ravine, created a magic bridge from burning an iron ore, rode some more, found a maze in the shape of celtic knot, met a beautiful woman who said she was the goddess Cebhfhionn out to be Bean Nighe who got mad when ana refused her of washing her clothes (muffin said she washed the clothes of the soon to be dead), and enraged, Bean called for Dullahan, a headless rider who could kill with touch. even worse, when they escaped the maze, their horse ditched them.
Lachlan shifted into lion and they crossed the river, followed by the dullahan until a kelpie stopped it and turned into a man. he told them to follow and stop the dark magic but don't eat anything at the fae realm. then they stopped to a bath that was polluted by the dark magic and Sulis came, told them to go to the grove and find a torc that would help her control her magic (cliche) and the tattoo was some kind of transitional process to master her magic. then together, they cleaned the bath and Sulis disappeared.
the cats of catastrophe took a bath there and when Ana dipped her finger there, she felt refreshed. however, the monster also took a dipped there and went stronger because of it. they continued their journey and met the fae who took them to the real Cebhfhionn, guarding a well of knowledge (the real one). she tried to coax Ana to drink it but she remembered the Kelpie's advice so the impressed goddess said that she should take a bath instead (to drink it is too powerful). the fae let them rest for the night and the next day, they lend them horses and they set course again. they arrived to another polluted lake and they had to solve some kind of puzzle by retrieving objects from the lakes in order to pass.
Ana cleaned the lake and they swam to retrieve a sword and a shield, but they were attacked by some snakes, who easily let go of them as soon as they got the objects. and after Ana sacrificed anther of her dagger (she sacrificed one in Sulis' bath), they walked to a river where there was a boat for one and Lachlan had to stay behind to fight some giant centipedes. the river split into two, one to immediate answer while in the other someone needed help, so of course every boring main character every chose to help. they arrived to a battle betwen Celtic and Roman and the celts were loosing because their backup were held back by a giant. Ana and the cats killed the giants but in its last breath, i released a dark magic and killed Princess
but of course Ana wouldn't let her die so she gave all her magic to princess and she died in exchange. however, she still continued her journey in ghost form (who felt pain-.-). she met Boudica, the warrior who tried to drive back the rome but died before she did it. she said that the 3 evil figured-women was called The Tree (very original), that they were from Roman origin, and that they came to the Otherworld realm in order to steal knowledge and power, gain army, and recruited a terrible monster from Celtic myth. She gave ana the torc necklace and it became one with her but she had to face some trial first.
she went through water, fire, earth, and wind trials and of course succeed, gained her body back, met Lachlan, and returned to the protectorate. they told others what happened and how they needed to go to Fomori because The Three were going to recruit the army there, which was underwater. So they rested for the night and the next day, they went to New York to met with Shen, Jude's something, who was a chinese dragon shifters and the one who would take them to the underwater city. in order to gain entrance, they pretended to be a trader who sold stone energy. the greedy guards gave them a hard time but with the help from Bojangles, they managed to knocked the demon guards out and enter without more troubles.
they found Jonnie, the UP member and they went to mercenary guild, where people hire, well, mercenary. but the place was empty, the weaponry too. they found a demon and ambushed him, found out that they had a meeting in the tower and ana knocked him out even though he was evil (because she was worry that he would disappear forever, she was disgusting -_-). they passed some phantoms, climbed the tower, almost had an acid baths, and arrived to the tower, but it was empty. they found out that they were planning to attack ana's mother village and they called it 'Campaign of The Fates'.
they tried to escape but they alerted the guards and after some fightings, they parted ways with Jonnie and they went out of the water bubble, creating their own. but fish-men kept on coming and their water bubble couldn't hold. when things were dire, as usual, help came in the shape of water dragon and they managed to escape and immediately returned to the protectorate. everyone was preparing for battles and the FireSouls and their boyfriends were there. Emile (??) made a portal and ~40 people teleported to the Otherworld, holding hands. the demons were on their way on attacking, with something like elephant made of black magic. however, Ana couldn't find the Fates anywhere and after some time, Muffin came, saying that the Fates sneaked from the back of the village and on their way to potion master's house.
the druids wouldn't let them in so they blasted their way in and found the Fates right when they came out of the house, looking even more corporeal than before but slightly off. Ana got a vision that they were indeed, THE Fates who used to have power over life and death but they lost that power and planned to fix that. they managed to sneak in thanks to the help of an old crone who was Boris's master. the Fates were carrying a package and were trying to ran away. Rowan caught one of them but she was easily overpowered, so ana had to help her instead of chasing the other two. this one stank of sickness and health, her opposite, and ana gave the fate her life magic and it turned to dust. everyone was of course safe, they managed to drove back the demons, and Sulis came, asking for Ana's help to remove the black magic stain from the Earth. they still needed to stop the other two but now, an emotional reunion with mama.

I loved Institute of Magic and Crime of Magic, the first two books in Linsey Hall’s Dragon's Gift: The Druid series. No surprise there, as i think that I’ve read everything this author has produced and it’s all been superb. And now it’s time for Celtic Magic, book 3 in the series. No shocker here that this book is, quite simply, a total blast. It’s also really well written and had just what I wanted for an urban fantasy including a great plot. I frankly adore Anna and Lachlan and love watching them deal with, well, everything. The rest of the cast of characters is pretty amazing as well. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

Content: this series is VERY light on romance. I wouldn’t even put it in that category. Yes there is a romance between Ana and Lachlan but it it by no means a main plot in the story. There are only a couple of kissing scenes in the whole series and any thing more then that happens behind closed doors so to speak and is barely even implied.
I honestly read this series in like 2 days as I was laid up in bed to sick to do anything. This is the first series I’ve read by this author so I missed the first series in this collection. That being said I don’t think it affected my enjoyment in the book. I did miss out on understanding some of the characters better but it didn’t affect the story line.
I enjoyed this series. It was recommended as a paranormal romance which I don’t think it is but it was still be really good. The works the author created was incredible. I loved that she weaves the Celtic myths and gods from our history so seamlessly into this new world. I enjoyed Ana. She was strong, brave and loyal. Same with Lachlan. They were able to get through this battle together because they leaned and trusted each other so much. The ending of the book lacked a little for me. When all was said and done it was just that. Done. A get together at the local pub and a slap on the back. I guess I was just hoping for a little more then that with Ana and Lachlan. With them going through so much together I guess apart of me just wanted a little more. Regardless it didn’t change my rating of the books.
I didn’t stop and review every book in the series. I just read straight through so I’m not going to break down my review for each book. The gist of it is there is a great evil in this world that is trying to destroy it. Ana and Lachlan, along with her sisters and friends must stop that. Trial after trial, puzzle after puzzle Ana and Lachlan face it together. I really enjoyed when Bree and Rowan (the sisters) joined in the search by Ana’s side because there was a great dynamic between the 3. Ana coming into her magic was a good ride as well. Her magic could be a little confusing at times and other times I wondered why she didn’t use a different skill or search more about her power. But it was a faced paced story and I don’t think it would have fit into it as well. This author wove a world that I was sucked into and really enjoyed. I will definitely be reading more of her books.

On their first real-life training exercise for the Undercover Protectorate’s Institute of Magic, the students were hiding in an alley in a very dangerous neighborhood to evict a bunch of Kobolds, looking like garden gnomes, from the little shop they had overtaken. The Vaults in Edinburgh, where the shop was located, was underground and was where much dark magic was created and sold. Someone in the shop hurled magic that the students evaded as they ran to the door. Ana tried to throw up her magic shield, but nothing happened, the magic couldn’t flow out of her hands, and she took a blast to the chest. What was wrong with her magic??
The night before, Ana had gone to the stone circle and found out she was The Druid Dragon God. Two golden tattoos appeared on her arms – and they were somehow blocking her magic! The magic had stopped at those tattoos when she called it forth. Her other two magical abilities, premonition and white light magic, would probably not help in overcoming the Kobold in front of her. So she grabbed a potion bomb to make the Kobold laugh and was able to throw her knife and defeat him. But another came behind her and attacked. Another potion bomb, this one freezing the Kobold, caused it to topple over and turn to dust. The students released the woman who had been tied to a chair. And they set a new speed record in passing this test!
Ana and her sister, Bree, walked into the castle and overheard 3 Celtic strangers talking about dark magic that was destroying Otherworld, the Celtic afterlife -- the realm of the gods and the dead. The druid seers had sent them to the castle to find help – and the figures turned and pointed right at Ana, The Druid Dragon God! Then Lachlan walked in behind them, just in time for him to volunteer to go with Ana.
This is a wonderful, imaginative story that immediately draws the reader in from the start as the students are being tested for their prowess with their magic. And upon returning to the castle, Ana walked right into an urgent plea to save the Celtic realm from a serious evil. The excitement never stops! Will she be successful? Will she get control over her new abilities and the changes her new identity has created? Can she truly stop the powerful evil? Grab the book and catch up on the adventure! The story is well-written and action-packed – a welcome combination!

Will she get control over her new abilities and the changes her new identity has created? Can she truly stop the powerful evil? Grab the book and catch up on the adventure! The story is well-written and action-packed – a welcome combination!

There’s something to be said for consistency and these Dragon’s Gift series are nothing if not consistent. Starting with Cass’s first book Ancient Magic right through all three of the fire souls stories and now the three dragon god sisters each book consists of about the same increment in their journey of self-discovery, their romance and the completion of their fated tasks. Something I’ve really enjoyed in Bree and Ana’s story is whenever they face a major battle the fire souls are there ready to fight beside them. Including the original founding characters in future books is just something I personally enjoy when I read a series. This is the third book in Ana’s story. At the end of the last she learns that she is The Druid a dragon god imbued with many of the powers of the pantheon of Celtic gods. In this book Ana learns she is more correctly The Warrior Druid and the identity of the evil forces she and Lachlan have been battling since the start of her series. Just as her sister Bree had to pass many tests to prove herself worthy of being The Valkyrie and gain all of the powers the Norse gods were willing to give her, so too must Ana. To be honest while Ana is without question put to the test, the number of challenges and tests didn’t feel quite as many as Bree faced. Not that that is a bad thing because honestly IMHO there is such a thing as too much of a good thing and sometimes less is more. Also, at least through this book we aren’t introduced to nearly as many Celtic gods and myths as we were Norse gods and myths in Bree’s story. But hey, there’s still two books to go so we’ll see. Another fun, quick paced book addition to the series.

In an age where it seems every book that has a romance includes at least some graphic sex, Ms. Hall has refused to use it to sell her books. While it's clear her heroines all in their mid to late twenties are not virgins, and that there is tremendous sexual attraction between them and their male counterparts it takes a long time before they are ready to be intimate with them. And when they are it's acknowledged they had sex but its not belabored and the details are not shared with the readers. This and the only mild profanity allows this series to be suitable for young teens.

First: a random something that I love. So far in The Druid Ana and another Protectorate student named Lavender have been rivals. Ana is supposed to be something “special” but has been displaying very little power so far, and Lavender has been bitchy about the whole situation. Now, not too long ago I was peeved at a different book (unrelated to the Linsey Hall books) because it had the two main female characters totally rivals to the point where they’re basically trying to kill each other over a man. This is a particularly bad sexist trope: it pushes the idea that women can’t trust each other and can only trust the men who love them. I was a little leery about the thread with Lavender for this reason, but Hall is so good about having strong female characters that I was willing to wait and see. And in this installment, there’s a huge climactic battle, and Ana and Lavender buckle down together in the fight. It isn’t made a big deal out of, either. The two just back each other up, because that’s what you do when you’re on the same side. It was great to see, and it’s a wonderful example of just how strong Hall’s female characters are.
The ultimate enemy does lack dimension, which isn’t entirely unusual for some of Hall’s books. So far they’re just some ghostly figures who… well, they’re ghostly figures. I really don’t know anything else about them. Hopefully they’ll get fleshed out in later books. As usual there are plenty of faceless demons to kill.
We do learn more about why Lachlan tried to keep Ana at a distance, and again, it’s nice to know it was more than just “we’re colleagues,” if for no other reason than the characters in The Valkyrie went through the same thing. It’s good to have some variety.
As always the fight scenes are fantastic! Plus throw in a bit of History, Archeology, and oh don’t forget the touch of Romance! Book 3 begins with Ana still training for her place in the Undercover Protectorate. She found out recently she is the Celtic Dragon God, but what that entails and what her powers are, she’s not certain. After Ana and 2 of her UP trainees help Melusine rid her establishment of Kobolds, 3 figures show up at the Protectorate asking Jude for help with some really dark magic that is making its way across and destroying the Otherworld. Bree and Ana can’t help but eavesdrop. Bree tells Ana she recognizes the one figure as someone she’s seen before. It doesn’t hurt that the figures see Ana watching them talking and tell Jude, we want her, the Druid Dragon God. Well that confirms WHAT she is, but why HER? What is special about Ana? Who or what is this Dark Magic that is terrorizing Otherworld? What do they mean she is fated to help? How do Lachlan and Ana handle the strong attraction they each feel for one another? Is it real? Why does he continue to back her?
Another adventure is waiting just around the corner. Otherworld is the vast Celtic Underworld where the group faces many challenges. Linsey tells the tale with many twists and turns, letting you feel you are along on a journey of excitement and adventure. During which she brings characters from previous books to render assistance. This novel on its own probably deserved a higher rating (once again I wish we could give half stars). The problem is that after reading the Seeker series a year or so again, I have read 4 1/2 of the first 6 Dragon Gift series in few weeks, and my dissatisfaction with certain elements combined with the repetitiveness of plot patterns finally took its toll.
Since one of the biggest lacks in these books is the lack of development of her male heroes other than as cheerleaders and backup muscle with a very little bit of nookie, the almost total absence of Cade even at major battles proved the tipping point. The guy is a Celtic god of war as well as madly in love with Bree and he’s not there at the critical fights involving his pantheon’s Otherworld? Even the DragonSouls’ significant others came. I assume that Hall is dealing with so many ongoing characters at this point she just lost track, but that points to how interchangeable Aiden, Roarke, Ares, Cade and Lachlan. The differences are mostly cosmetic, and once we’ve learned their backstories that’s about as distinct as they get. I am curious to read Connor’s one novel series to see Hall tell the story.
Rant over, but this is the pivotal novel of the series where Ana learns who she is as the Celtic Dragon God and has to prove herself. The Celtic pantheon is more ephemeral than the Norse or the Greeks. So Hall had a challenge from the start, and she does a good job communicating how differently their gods and customs could be from place to place and the historical lack of early documents due to the oral traditions. These made the god interactions less coherent. I was surprised that so far none of the few biggies have appeared yet. The addition of an unexpected family reunion gave emotional weight that the plot didn’t. As Hall promises in every book blurb. It’s a kick-ass heroine doing her thing with lots of evildoers and mythical monsters thrown in and a dollop of romance. She delivered.

Ana's journey continues as she is called to enter the Otherworld where the Druids and Celtic peoples go after they die. Ana has discovered she's The Druid - a Druid dragon god. In the Otherworld she meets her mother and Sulis, a goddess of light. She is given powers and infused with a torc - an object that imbeds itself into her chest and focuses her powers helping her to control them. She is tasked with finding the source of the darkness - a foul smelling trail that burned through the land leaving blackness and death in its wake - and destroying it. She's told her fate is intertwined with it.
I loved this story of Ana and Lachlan as they journeyed through Otherworld and back. Then to another world that lies deep in the Atlantic that they rode on a sea dragon's back to get to where they battled the Formoroi. And back to the Protectorate to return to the Otherworld to protect her mother's village in a massive battle between members of the Protectorate and some old friends from Magic's Bend. The buggy was back along with Rowan, Bree, and her BF as well as all the old firesouls and their BFs and Connor and Clair.
The characters come alive and Ms. Hall draws you in with her wonderful descriptions that paint a picture much better than anything you'll see on television or at the movies. It will be hard to wait another month for the next installment, but I'm sure that one will be well worth it.

Better than Book 2 was but seriously, what's with the repeat usage of descriptions?! ARGH!
Okay ... That's it. Something like, 7 books into this piggy-backing set of series later, I finally got so annoyed by repetitions that I resorted to making a list of the ones I could go the rest of my life without ever reading again. Alas, I'm sure that won't happen since I plan to keep at these series...

This novel, editorially messy as it may be, definitely revitalized my interest again and left off with a decent cliffhanger too.

Ana and Lachlan almost die under the ocean in the city there filled with demons.
Ana and Lachlan dig out some clues by themselves while the rest of their team comes up with dead ends. But if they get the answers they need from the war room under the sea they pass it on to their friends so they can get together and gather their own army to fight the demons. The demons are going to attack the Celtic underworld's main city. They've got to get as many warriors as they can to combat this evil and quickly. It's going to take a giant portal to even get them to the Celtic lands but Emily comes to the fore and opens a giant portal for them all including the special buggy that fights evil. Hopefully they have enough warriors to combat the demons and that will win the day but time will tell.

This is another action filled tale in this series set in the Dragon’s Gift world. This time it’s Ana’s turn to earn her stripes, as she sets off to learn about her magic, and help those who asked her to.
The reader who knows a little Celtic mythology, and a bit of Celtic history, will recognize a few characters in this book, but it’s the Cats of Catastrophe that steal the show (as usual).
There’s a little romance, a lot of action, some fighting and magic, and a smidgen of history. It all ties together to make for an entertaining and fun read for the urban fantasy fan.

Awesome contemporary fantasy with a touch of romance. As always Ms. Hall makes each book an extension of the previous in the set; this is book #3 of The Druid. This particular series is about Ana who has struggled to get through the magical school called the Protectorate. She is one of three sisters who struggle to find their purpose and powers. Each story involves harrowing adventures, evil monsters and a group of true friends including her romance interest, Lachlan who is a powerful mage. Each story ends with a HFN u until the final book. I look forward to reading more books regarding Ana's saga then hopefully their sister Rowan's story. I received a complementary copy of this fantastic book and look forward to reading future books by Ms. Hall.

One thing I’ve come to appreciate about this author is that her books are just about for anyone of any age, including the latest in this great series. She has action, adventure, romance, paranormal, mystery, and, most of all, fun. There is little to no cursing and no sex scenes, so if that’s something that bothers you, it won’t in this series. I loved this latest addition to Ana’s story, and I love how she’s coming into her powers. For some reason, I don’t feel like I know her love interest Lachlan very well, but it doesn’t really deter my enjoyment. As usual, this author delivers a wonderful book full of great action, characters, and plot. If you haven’t read any of these series before, I suggest starting at the beginning to get the full impact. You will love the series and this book. Highly recommend! I was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
I'm not sure I've devoured a book so quickly without realising how much time was passing and how much I'd read. I started this book yesterday and by the end of the night I'd finished over 50% of the book, and then devoured the second half within a very short period of time this morning.
I found this book absolutely enthralling - not only does Ana take further steps to discover her magic, but there is an unexpected reunion that I never saw coming, an epic battle, new adventures... you get the gist of it, there is a lot packed into one book!

I'm liking Ana and Lachlan more with each book.
I still believe that since it's not labeled as YA, that it could do with more romance. The romance in these books is about as tame as one can get. And yes, the Heroines in all of these related series are very similar in personality. But they are easy and quick reads about powerful women and their boyfriends (well, what would you call a guy who isn't a fiance or mate or husband?).
Ana is becoming more powerful, and her love interest is giving her his support. I'm a fan of all the different supernatural species that pop up in these various series. 3-3/4 Stars for this installment.

Kinsey Hall has brought us another winner. As with her previous series, this one, too,has kept my attention divided to the books in the series. The characters and the adventure me in and held my attention. The touch of romance keeps me asking the how and when will they finally come together. Things I love about these books:
- it's a quick read and even when I do not have much time, I can finish one book easily (and the whole series too)
- it's easy and enjoyable read. it will not AWE but it will not insult either (well it's maybe a "bit" heteronormative but oh well-)
- the various quests are fun!
- the relationship between the two main heroes is once again repetitive and predictable, but it's still nice to always see how they start relying on each other more and more
- the ABSOLUTE ridiculousness of the guy always being SUPER powerful being (in one series even the most powerful in the world) and the woman still being the one to save the day.i absolutely love it.

WOW!!! I was pulled in from the beginning! Fabulous paranormal world, I absolutely love this series of books, the action starts straight away, and the characters are well defined early on and blossom throughout the series, you can feel the tension building between the main characters and each book always leaves you wanting more. The sub plots plus twists and turns keep you surprised and intrigued. Be warned though once you start reading this series you won’t be able to put the books down so be prepared for some binge reading.

This series follows Ana who's destined to be a Dragon God but can't find her super magic. Pros to the story: tough main character, cool cats, romantic partnership where they don't jump into sex right away, recognition that no matter your strength - your team is what makes you successful. Cons to the story: still too fast from first meeting to lurv, you never feel that any (and there are a lot of them now) of the many characters are in actual danger.

I enjoy getting to read stories of many different characters and seeing how they intertwine. This story gets even better now that things are progressing. Ana's trials get crazier and even more dangerous as she sets out to discover the roots of her magic. And though her destiny has led her to the Celtic Otherworld the challenges are no less daunting. But with Lachlan, her sisters, the Protectorate and the FireSouls and friends (two and four-legged), taking control of her magic and defeating the evil ravaging the Celtic Otherworld has become a tiny bit easier. I love how well she and Lachlan team up and complement each other. So curious to see how this journey ends and begin Rowan's story.

Not as engaging as the others
It wasn’t bad. And I still sped through the book. But it was missing some complexity and depth that most of her other books had. I felt like the romance and the situation they were in were all rushed. Less thought out than it could’ve been. Close to a 5* cause it was still a good read and it continued the story line. But not up to par with her other works.

Celtic love
The Celts are my an ancestor's, so my excitement has only grown stronger as the series contiues. The sister's work hand in hand with nix,del, and cas, the story becoming not just an adventure but a family of blood and friendships. Lisney always has you on the edge of your seat with some exciting battles and ever developing magic, I recommend this author and all of her books.

Celtic Magic is book three in Linsey Hall's fifth Dragon's Gift series. Ana finally knows which pantheon she belongs to. Given the opportunity to travel to the Celtic realm, she finds a few surprises along with some more information about her new powers. Can Ana and Lachlan save the Celtic realm from an odd magical invasion?
Overall, I enjoyed reading this novel. It is fast-paced with tons of action.
