Vivi has decided to sell her virginity to the highest bidder in order to help the brother of one of her sorority sisters. He was badly burned when he tried to save the animals from an animal shelter that was burning.

Vivi does not hesitate to sell her virginity to pay his medical bills.

The only problem is that she is not really a virgin.

The story is deep down a second chance romance. Very sweet and not very complicated. Dallas (her first and only lover) has the right amount of craziness. And I loved the fact that they were both virgins the first time and they both have been celibate and faithful ever since until they meet again.

Favourite quote: Love bubbles and hisses and spills over like an angry volcano until it’s exploding and decimating everything else in its path. Love is chaos and unrest. Love is a motherfucking disaster.
But so goddamn beautiful.
So goddamn worth the destruction.

This was probably the sweetest (and shortest) book I have ever read by K. Webster. In fact, it was so short I don't even know what to say about it other than I enjoyed it. *shrug* It was sugary sweet. There wasn't a drop of angst or OW/OM drama. It wasn't particularly spicy, and it was undoubtedly underdeveloped. That said, these books aren't meant to be anything more than quick fun reads. So I won't complain too much. I am looking forward to checking out the other books coming up in the series.

This was such a cute brother's best friend slash second chance romance. Vivi was worried about the person bidding on her virginity finding out she was no longer a virgin, never imagining that the man she gave it away to would be the won to win her. I loved how she and Dallas still wanted each other after almost four years apart. Dallas wasn't allowing anyone to get their hands on his woman. He gave her up once, but now he was ready to lay his claim on her forever. This was one sweet novella!

A surprisingly sweet second chance romance from K Webster. Don’t get me wrong Bidding for Keeps still has a hot alpha, a feisty heroine, and is a quick and smutty read, but this one also has a second chance romance that will make you say, “aww!”

Desiring to help a friend and her family who are suffering financial difficulty after tragedy, Vivi takes a drastic step when her father refuses to donate to the cause. With the other girls from her sorority, they set up an online auction to raise the money needed. However, things aren’t looking too good for Vivi when, despite their attempts at safety, things take a darker turn for her.

This is a quick luscious tidbit that was over much too soon. It’s mostly erotica but with a strong romantic prose in between. It’s difficult to say much without giving away spoilers considering the length of the book. There wasn’t enough time to feel a bond with the characters but they were certainly likable, enough so that I would’ve liked to have had a full story about them.

If you enjoy steamy romance about forever love, and finding happiness when it feels so lost, you might consider this for a refresher between lengthier reads.

I really had a fun time with this one. I don't think K.Webster can write a bad book haha this one was quite different from anything I have read from her until now. And I liked that it was short sexy and sweet. It had a very balanced dynamic and literally had me going from laughing to crying all in one page. It had a cool setup. I just love auction themes, not sure why, but they draw me in like candy. I loved the second chance, the emotional trauma and pain that they need to work through and the smexy moments that just fit this pair's dynamic. I really love that Webster writes such a variety and you never know what you can expect until you read it. And I can't wait to read more of these short ones.

Ive been waiting to find a K Webster book that I could read that wasnt so dark and wouldnt trigger my anxiety. I feel like Ive been waiting forever until this book came a long. I can finally say thar I have read a book by the famous and well loved K Webster. This was a fun quick read with a second chance romance. A tad bit unrealistic but still enjoyable nonetheless. 3 stars!

I'm fairly new when it comes to K. Webster's novels so I had no idea what to expect from Bidding For Keeps. Honestly, when I first read the blurb to this novel, I knew I needed to request a copy. I was so damn intrigued by this plot and even though it seems like it would be a popular subject in the romance world, I have never read a novel like this before.

A girl auctioning off her fake virginity to the highest bidder in order to help pay for her sorority sister's brothers hospital bills...hell yeah, I'm all in! But then things quickly get even more interesting. The winner of the bid happens to be a man from Vivi's past... and the plot thickens.

I loved Dallas, I thought he was the perfect male specimen. I love my male hero's to be swoony with a villainous side and Dallas did not disappoint! he's kind of a perfect mixture of the devil and an angel...it was slightly confusing but in a good way. K. Webster sure knows how to light a kindle on fire with all that sexyness! I honestly had to fan myself a couple of times. Dallas is sexy as sin!

I was a little disappointed with how short this novel was. 54 pages, it only took me an hour and a half to read. But throughout the novel there was enough substance that by the end I didn't feel like I was missing anything or like I wanted more.

Overall, Bidding For Keeps is a great short but sexy read. If you're looking for something outside of the box, this is the novel to pick up.

I love these quick reads!

This is the beginning of a series where a sorority is auctioning their virginity for charity for a worthy cause.

The animal shelter where they volunteer caught fire and now they are trying to save the animals and to help with medical bills of one sorority's sisters brother who was injured in the fire.

Vivi is in the charity event even though she has a secret.....and when a bid comes in for her at $25,000.00, no one is more shocked than her. But she's in for a bigger surprise!! Dallas!! A blast from the past!

Like I said, I love these quick reads.......basically meet, fall for each other, f*ck, and you get an HEA or HFN!

Now, let's see who's next for bid!! Lol!

Fun, quick and smexy read with heart that drew me in from the first page and kept me turning the pages until the very last word.

Now when I say quick, I mean this one is a quick read ~ think short story/slice of life type of read ~ and there are times when they tend to...well...fall short in certain areas, but in this situation that isn’t the case. I mean I can’t say more than I liked Vivi and Dallas, but I can say that I felt their connection, the emotional turmoil that simmered between them and that I wanted them to work things out. I will admit that I would have liked a little more grovelling, because it’s me, but in the end I enjoyed how everything worked out.

As for the reason behind the auction. Not gonna give it away, you need to read about it for yourself, but there is a pretty damn good reason for why these girls are going “there”.

So if you’re looking for a quick, smexy read this is definitely one to check out!

If you like a smooth sailing, quick and easy read then you will love Bidding For Keeps by K Webster. It's not the usual MO we see from this author but all the same its a pleasant change from the dark side.

The book was really quick so other than what you can read on the blurb there is no point going into the plot any further. It's your typical brothers best friend romance with only a slight hint of sexy hot stuff in the bedroom department, but that's only because it's written to be a short novella so there isn't much room to fill it with more unless you want all sex and no story. The only gripe I have as I do with all short novellas is there isn't much time to get to know the characters really well and there was no angst to talk about that would put any twists in there.

Overall though a sweet happy read that you can read on your bus journey home from work. Enjoy!

Sounds like a successful plan but for the fact that Vivi already gave that long ago to her brother's best friend, Dallas, right before he he left her high and dry, saying he had things he had to get to like college. Ouch...

But when Vivi meets the man who won her auction, she's not thrilled to find out she's being kidnapped and given to a stranger in a ski mask. Will her stranger take it easy on her, especially when he finds out he's been sold a bill of goods, that's she's a fraud?

I thought Bidding for Keeps was short, sweet and hot and a great way to start off this series.

Vivi comes from a wealthy family although she is the uppity rich women character. Vivi is the loving friend and person, so when a Sorority sister needs help with money and her family won't help... Vivi goes into action by selling off her 'virginity' which she actually gave away to her brother's best friend. Dallas was the one that took her virginity along with her heart now he is back wanting to claim the rest.
This was a hot quick read that lets you escape from your everyday life....loved it!

I swear all I read by K. Webster is short stories. And I have no idea why! I enjoy all of them . I love the sweet and taboo and the dirty ones. This story is about Vivi who decides to help her sorority raise money to pay for their friends hospital bills. And since they are silly college girls they decide to make a bidding event auctioning off their sorority. The sorority is not rich but they do have a strict virginity rule where everyone much be a virgin. The book was short so we didn’t get all the girls bidding stories but needless to say they raised enough money! The only catch was Vivi was never a virgin and Dallas … knew it and bid on her anyway!!! I think the book is sweet and short and not at all dark which is a rarity for the author. I enjoyed the quick read.

Bidding for Keeps is a bit different from what I'm used to from K. Webster (the most taboo aspect is the auction), but I still enjoyed it. Quick and hot (what I've come to love and expect from Dirty Bits) and oddly sweet - then again I'm a sucker for second chance romances. I think I'm going to enjoy the Sorority Secrets series. I'm really starting to wish that this imprint came in paperback because then I'd be compelled to collect them all! 3.5 out 5 wine glasses.

Bidding for Keeps is the first installment in the Sorority Secrets series.

Vivi's friend's brother is hurt in a fire. The medical bills are piling up and she wants to help any way she can. Asking her father for the funds doesn't work so she decides auctioning off her virginity will work.

I am a die hard K. Webster reader. I love the sick and twisted or the sexy and fierce but unfortunately for me Bidding for Keeps was just to overly sweet. It is a short read that is quick and to the point.

This is another of the short novellas about the sorority that puts up their virginities for auction. At least in this one, I finally understood the reason for the auction. (I read the second one in the series before this one) It still didn't really sit right with me. Ever heard of Go Fund me? Anyway, it ended up being an OK ending and I did like the couple.

If you are looking for a slightly less problematic and less dark read by K Webster, you should right dive into this one. Bidding for keeps is a short sweet and steamy read that will satisfy your book-lusting during lunch break.

The characters were a little cringeworthy and didn’t have much depth, but considering it is a quick read I didn’t bother me much.

I have to say I didn’t like the whole “Sorority virginity auction” thing that was going on. I know it is a part of this series but I think there was no solid reason for it since, I assume, the girls all have a wealthy background and could’ve found another -legal ways to collect the money

This book is the first one in the “Sorority Secret” Serie but I don’t think that I will continue with the following ones.

Bidding for Keeps is part of the ‘Dirty Bits’ series from Carina Press, they are super short, and might I add, super steamy. This is the second ‘Sorority Secrets’ I’ve had the pleasure of reading. So far, both following the would be auctioning of The Beta Kappa Nu girls’ virginity. All with a little twist, and all for a very worthy cause. Bidding for Keeps follows Vivi Prescott and Dallas Monroe, two strong, emotional characters, who I have to say I would have loved to have learned more about. I loved the premise behind the story, a story that’s been told many a time, and one I could have quite happily read in a full length novel. Wonderful writing, a predictable and extremely sexy storyline, and a very quick read. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I am enjoying the variety and different ways that authors have interpreted "The Dirty Bits" in this series from Carina Press. I would recommend that you give them a try - and remember the premise of all the 'good' bits in a short story, and judge them on that basis. They are quick, often cheeky, forays into passion, often with a quick transition to romance. Sometimes a short, sexy story is just what you need!

This book centres around Vivi, who is planning on raising money for an animal shelter by auctioning off her virginity (which may have been given to her first love Dallas a while ago ... but hey, it's for charity!) and the winning bidder. It turns out to be someone who might know that he is buying counterfeit goods, but that is not the point. As they come to terms with the past, and the possibilities of the future, the auction may have been in another good cause entirely.

Vivi is in a sorority and when one of the sisters brother gets burned during a rescue, the sorority sisters pull together to raise money by holding an auction to help cover some medical bills. But the auction is not your normal one, they are auctioning of some of the girls virginity to the highest bidder. But Vivi doesn't tell the sisters that she lost hers over three years ago to her brothers best friend, the man who also broke her heart when he left her.
Dallas can't believe what he is reading. Vivi, the only girl he has loved is auctioning off her virginity. Something she gave to him over three years ago. What is she thinking he needs to stop her before something happens to her.
Can Dallas save her or will his trick make her hate him even more? Can Vivi forgive him for leaving her all those years ago? What happens when her "date" shows up?
This is a quick read that is kind of fun and a sweet second chance romance. If you are a K. Webster fan and are looking for a dark read, then this one is not for you. I like a sweet read once in a while and this one was just right, so read it and I hope you enjoy it too.

This is book one in a mini series by Carina Press. This book in the Sorority Secrets is so good. I absolutely love K. Webster’s and she sure knows how to tell an addictive story.

Vivi decides to auction up her virginity for a cause close to her heart. However she’s not a virgin.

Dallas broke her her heart. He’s now not bidding for sex but he’s bidding for keeps. Can Vivi forgive him?

A short but oh so good story. I can’t wait to read more from this author and I’m looking forward to reading more of this series.
