Fleeing to the wintry town of Caribou was always meant to be temporary, BearPaw Resort just a place to hide. Never in a million years did I expect that running back to the past would bring me face to face with my future. But it did, and now everyone I love is in danger. I’ve already escaped death three times, and I know my luck is running out. I’m left looking over my shoulder, watching and waiting, knowing they’re coming But when? Hiding is impossible when the mob wants you erased, and I love Liam far too much to try to disappear. The more time I spend with him, the more I realize how much he needs me. A darkness lurks inside him, and the colder it gets, the more I see it in his eyes. So here I am, more afraid than ever before. Giving up isn’t an option. Giving in will get us killed. A blizzard is brewing on our mountain, more frigid than anything we’ve ever felt. With everything we ever wanted at stake, the only option is to fight.

Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than fifty titles. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chihuahuas (the real bosses of the house). Cambria has written in many genres, including new adult, sports romance, male/male romance, sci-fi, thriller, suspense, contemporary romance, and young adult. Many of her titles have been translated into foreign languages and have been the recipients of multiple awards.

I couldn’t one-click Blizzard fast enough when it was released and I couldn’t start it fast enough. Blizzard is an amazing addition to the BearPaw Resort series. I inhaled it. I loved every minute I spent reading this book. There were many twists and turns that I never expected. Blizzard is refreshing, romantic, sweet, emotional, beautiful and suspenseful. This book doesn’t end with a cliffhanger, but there are definitely some things left unsolved. I can’t wait for Frostbite!
The author creates with each series a world I love getting to know everything about and a world with characters I fall hopelessly in love with. BearPaw Resort isn’t any different. I love the setting. It’s a resort in the mountains and Liam’s house is secluded. It snows a lot there. All the characters (apart from the villains of course) are fantastic. Just when I think I can’t love them more, they do something that makes me love them a little more.
Bellamy and Liam are wonderful characters! Bellamy is strong, genuine, reliable, caring and loving. She’s enjoying her stay at the resort and with Liam. She will finally find a home and a family, and she deserves that. Bellamy still isn’t feeling completely safe after everything that has happened to her before, but Liam makes her feel safer. She hates knowing that she can put the people she cares about in danger.
Liam is still the same man. He is talented, sporty, caring, protective, determined and strong. Snowboarding used to mean everything to him and he still enjoys doing it, but his priorities are changing. Liam is so happy to have found Bellamy again and he wants to be with her forever, so fortunately Bellamy isn’t planning on going anywhere.
I love the love between Bellamy and Liam. A love that only grows stronger and one that is worth every struggle. They are closer than ever. Both of them believe in and support each other. There isn’t a thing they wouldn’t do for each other.
Release Date: June 25, 2018 Genre: Romantic Suspense Actual Rating: 4 stars
Blizzard is the second book in the BearPaw Resort series which must be read in order. This series follows Bellamy and Liam's story, one which is not only beautiful and sexy, but suspenseful as well! Without getting into the plot because it could spoil the story to those who haven't read it, I will say it is the most suspenseful of the three! Some parts had me gripping my iPad with all my strength! Other parts made my heart smile and brought tears to my eyes! I honestly love what Cambria has done with the series and I think many readers of romantic suspense are going to really enjoy it!
A great installment in this series. I didn't quite love it as much as book #1 (or book #3 which is my favorite in the series) but still really good. Highly recommend the BearPaw Resort series if you like a low angst new adult read with a hero who knows what he wants and never waivers.

It was just too over the top. I’ve read a lot of Cambria Hebert in the past, and while the writing style is much of the same, it’s the overall tone of this story (or stories, I should say) that’s losing me.
I mean, we have our heroine, right... she witnessed the death of her father (who got in deep with the mob), went into witness protection, then testified against “the most notorious mobster of the modern era”, and now she’s running from said mobster’s lackeys (we learn all of this in book one). Enter book two; we have the same threat against Bellamy, but now , and our Hero, Liam has taken “Alpha” to ridiculously annoying level...
Example: Bellamy is in Liam’s hospital room (after Liam had a procedure done on his leg). When she goes to drag a chair closer to his bed, he leaps up to help her (bum leg and all). After she gets mad at him for moving from his bed he says, “what the fuck did you expect me to do? You were trying to strong-arm that chair!” - no, Liam, she was just dragging a fricken chair across the floor a couple of feet, take it down a few notches. And he just gets more and more unnecessarily alpha as the story moves along.
I felt like Cambria threw everything but the kitchen sink into this story. As a result, I was never able to settle in and get comfortable. And, I kinda-sorta mentioned this in my review of Avalanche, but our main characters had this weird, sort of aloof mentality to all the danger that constantly surrounded them.
Take this exchange for instance: Alex: "Where’s your cell?” Bellamy: “I haven’t had time to get one.” - I’m sorry, what? You are literally being hunted by the mob, was shot at and nearly killed just weeks prior... and you haven’t found time to get a cell? And Liam, who wont let you move a damn chair by yourself, has been letting you walk around without a means of contacting you?
It was little things like this that would kept popping up, until eventually I couldn’t muster up anymore feelings toward our MCs.
And the worst part still... while I appreciated the little similarities between this and the hashtag series in book one, these characters have managed to morph themselves into less entertaining versions of Romeo, Rimmel, and Braeden. I’m not even sure Cambria realized what she was doing (or maybe she did, idk), but even Bellamy started having “Rimmel” moments throughout this book. She was never as outright clumsy as Rimmel, but I lost track of how many times Liam (and even Alex) had to keep Bellamy on her feet after nearly falling over. Alex has now become the protective, big brother/best friend who cant deny Bells anything, and Liam is our star athlete who sustained a potentially career-ending injury defending our precious heroine. Even the resort’s employees and the way rumors fly through that place, resembles the “buzzboss” (or whatever that social media thing was called, I forget). It’s Hashtag 2.NO.
It’s was just too much for me... but if you’re a fan of Ms. Hebert, especially of her hashtag series, then I imagine you’ll love this one too. So to you, I would recommend. But to everyone else, I would advise starting elsewhere.
Blizzard picked up right where Avalanche had left us all hanging. Cambria really brought her A-game to this one, I was a bit shook at some of the events in this one. It was a true roller coaster ride that's what it was, with laughs one second and fat tears the next... I wasn't ready.
This book had even more twists and turns than the first one, it was full of ups and downs and heart-wrenching events and moments that made your heart beat so fast it was practically jumping out of your mouth because you were so anxious to find out what was happening next. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book, with no idea about what would happen next, how these two were going to survive with all the stuff happening around them. For a second I really felt for their lives but mostly it just hurt to see them suffering so much with all that happened. They couldn't take a breather and when things seemed to be getting calmer, another blizzard would hit them hard and knock them down two steps. So much happened in this book, and despite Bellamy no longer having a target on her back, things got a whole lot colder and complicated.
Even though Liam and Bellamy love each other fiercely and have gone through so much together, they're about to go through a much rougher path after all that happened in Blizzard. The strength and love in their relationship will be put through the test for sure in the next installment in this series.
I cannot wait to see how Liam will deal with everything that's happened and see how he goes by at getting his revenge, and of course to watch the secret Bellamy is keeping come to light. Will it change Liam's mind, or will it make it worse? I cannot wait to find out!
#sorrynotsorry?
OH MY GOD. This series just keeps getting better and better and even more intense than I thought, I love it.
Book 2 follows on from book 1 and were given even more drama and sadness from this one.
Bellamy and Liam go through a whole load of pain and stress it’s unreal. There’s certain parts that come up in this book that has you on the end of your seats, biting at your nails and screaming internally and praying for these two.
This book had me in a whole heap of emotions and I don’t even know how I’m going to overcome them. The shocking twists Cambria unleashed hit me straight in the heart and oh my god, I’m emotional.
Cambria truly is an incredible writer and I seriously can’t wait to get stuck into book 3 now.
Blizzard was crazily intense with a mixture of adorable and loving moments and a dash of heartbreak all rolled up into one perfect book.
This one had all sorts of suspense in it. Poor Bellamy seriously can’t catch a break. Liam is trying so hard to protect her. The mobs a foot and I got a little case of the sads over Liam’s dad. There’s quite a bit that happens in this one. I’m enjoying this series, it’s keeping me on my toes!
I started this book with a smile because even though it hadn't been that long since I read book 1, I needed to know how the story progressed, especially with everything that happened at the end of Avalanche.
This second instalment did not disappoint one bit. I love how Bellamy and Liam's relationship strengthened and became a pillar they both clung to. With both their lives in danger thanks to very eager mobsters, it was heartwarming to see them seek solace in each other's arms.
Blizzard was also incredibly hot, and Liam's alpha-maleness kicked the heath level up a notch more. I simply love this couple together. I feel like I could read an entire book of them just hanging around, doing absoltely nothing. But I was also glad for the suspense element of the story, because the dangerousness of it all heightened the epicness of the romance and made not just fear for their lives, but also swoon because of how much they would sacrifice to protect the other.
The more I read, the more I am curious about Alex's character and hope he'll get a story. As far as other secondary characters, a major twist that was hinted at at the end of Avalanche is a key point of this book thatm made my heart ache and added a level of depth to this instalment.
Now I cannot wait to get my hands on book three. I loved the ending of Blizzard, although it also left me reeling because of the darness in it, so I need my next BearPaw fix to know these characters I have come to adore are going to be okay in the long run.
Okay. Totally writing this review after finishing both this book and the next book. So I don’t want to ruin anything by fudging up where this book ended and the next one started.
All I’ll say is that if I had to pick one of my favorite contemporary romance authors it would be Cambria Hebert. She is amazing when it comes to writing about sexy alpha males and badass heroines. Liam and Bellamy are no different. They have hurdles to overcome and they do it together. I love reading her books. And Bearpaw is a super duper close second to her Hashtag series. ❤️
I read an ARC of the first book in this series, but I had to rush read it because I was going on holiday and had to have my review finished before I went! I then decided to re-read the first book before I started reading this book! This was definitely the right thing for me to do because it allowed me to take my time whilst reading it and remember everything! After reading this book though, I can say that I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed it just as much as the first book and it only took me a few sittings to read because I didn't want to put it down! The plot also developed at the perfect pace and a lot happened in it! I was hoping that there were going to be quite a few twist and turns and there were! There were a few action and suspense scenes too! I loved the romance in the plot too and the romance allowed for some hot scenes! I will admit that these scenes were pretty steamy lol! The plot also went in a bit of a different direction that what I was expecting, but I enjoyed the direction that the author took it in and the ending was left at a good place! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Bellamy was the main female character, and in this book she was in a more stable place and she was a lot happier! Yes, she was still jumpy and not too sure about things, but this was completely understandable because she was still in danger! Bellamy tried her best to support Liam in this book and be there for him like he was there for her! This made me respect her a lot! She also had a new job doing something that she loved too! Liam was the main male character and love interest of Bellamy! I loved Liam a lot in the first book, but I loved him even more in this book! My heart also went out to him because he shared his secret in this book and then discovered some terrible, heart-breaking news, so he ended up going through a lot! Liam was also determined to protect Bellamy and this meant that he had a lot on his plate! It was easy to see how much Liam loved Bellamy and he was very protective of her! I loved that this book was written from both Bellamy and Liam's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because the first book was written from both characters point of views, so I'm really happy that this book was too! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot and it helped me connect and understand both characters more! I also thought that this book was going to be the final book in Bellamy and Liam's story and then the next book was going to be a secondary character's story, but it turns out that the next book is hopefully going to conclude Bellamy and Liam's story and then I'm hoping that there's going to be a fourth book for the secondary character lol! I'm really happy that there's going to be another book for Bellamy and Liam and I can't wait to read it once it releases! The cover for this book is also absolutely amazing! I love it as soon as I saw and it suits the cover for the first book perfectly! I love how each picture represents what happens in the book too!
Blizzard was very interesting just like Avalanche. I do think I like Avalanche just a little bit more though. This storyline is very intriguing, dramatic, and emotional. There was a sad part of the storyline that I wasn't expecting and made the book more emotional. I didn't like Liam quite as much as I did in the first book. He seemed a little too protective and alpha, but he's still a good guy and has the best intentions. He has a harder time in this book, so it makes sense as to why he's a little rougher. Bellamy still has it rough, but she knows how to fight back. I love Alex and found him to be a hoot! I enjoyed the book and am very interested in finding out what's next for them, especially with that ending!
This is a continuation of Bellamy and Liam and how they are now a couple and navigating life on BearPaw. Lots of twist and turns and Spidey makes a come back to finish out his job. Lots Lots of just Bells and Liam getting to know one another and realizing how all-consuming there love is for one another.
Note to Self: - Dual POV Summary: - Liam got hooked on prescription drugs after his injury; he’s an addict - Liam finds out his dad has cancer - Liam says he will take over the resort - Liam and Bellamy go back to Chicago to pack up her things - Someone shoots (a sniper) at her while they’re in her old apartment - Liam has a procedure done to help heal his knee. Spidey is at the hospital and leaves them a spider in their room - Bellamy gets a job at the resort - The power in the kitchen at the resort goes out when Bellamy is there late one night and when it comes back on theres a spider there, it goes out again and Spidey attacks her, she hides in a cupboard but Alex shows up before Spidey finds her again. Spidey disappears. - Liam goes to visit Crone in prison - Bellamy gets pregnant (surprise, surprise! Lol) - She goes home early to process the fact that she’s pregnant and one of Crones men tries to kill her but Spidey shoots him just before the man could shoot Bellamy (he wanted to be the one to kill her) - Liam gets shot by Spidey - Bellamy shoots Spidey but he doesn't die - Spidey shoots Liam’s dad - Bellamy shoots Spidey some more and he finally dies - Bellamy tells Liam’s dad she’s pregnant before he dies - Book ends with Bellamy thinking Liam can’t look at her because she’s the reason his dad is dead, and Liam can’t look at her because he thinks he screwed up and didn’t protect his family. Liam gets a letter from Crone saying he’s taken the bounty off of Bellamy’s head and considers them even now since Liam killed one of his men (Spidey?) and he killed one of Liam’s (his dad). Liam plans on getting revenge.
Things I liked: - Alex saying it didnt have to be awkward before he tells Liam and Bellamy he packed her things for her (more specifically, her “unmentionables”) - Liam’s attempt at braiding Bellamy’s hair - “I just hoped she really was a good cook. Otherwise, I was going to be eating a lot of shit I didn’t like.” - “Without looking away from her, I reached back and shoved Alex toward the living room. “Don’t leave,” I ordered. “What a nice invitation to stay,” he muttered, but I tuned him out.” - ““Can I go home now?” he asked, sipping on some coffee. “I mean, I love you guys, but I need to take a shower.” Bellamy laughed against my shirt, the sound muffled but distinct. “Go,” I told him. He stood but hesitated and looked at my girl. “Uh, Bells?””
Things I didn’t like: - The unprotected sex and the absolute certainty that they couldn’t be pregnant… they were both thinking things like it was only the one time, its unlikely she was pregnant…. ummm.. hello? One time is all it takes.. yes Im aware for some people it does take more than one time but ugh, don’t be so naive. - Liam’s father has cancer - Spidey shoots Liam’s dad (I mean come on, he was already dying!! Why?!) - Liam’s dad dies - The ending - the promise of revenge

Beautiful. Mysterious. Emotional. Suspenseful. A mix of light, funny moments and darkness creeping around these two characters that I grew to love so much.
Liamy (Liam & Bellamy) met again in Avalanche-BearPaw Resort book #1 (has to be read in order!)-after years of being apart. A lot has happened in the time they've spent apart. They're not the people they once were, both are defined by things that have happened over the years and demons that still hunt them in the present. One thing, however, didn't change, that's the love they have for each other.
I love them as a couple. They are so cute and sweet together. There are some scenes that made me laugh so hard. But there were also scenes full of tension and suspense where I was holding my breath while my heart was beating hard waiting for what's coming next!
I'm so happy we got to see more of Charlie and Alex. I love those two so freaking much. Alex-I. NEED. MORE. OF. ALEX. Just saying ;)
Ugh I really wanted to like this book but I felt this book was a bit of a mess. I felt like this book wasn’t really necessary and I read like a filler book. I didn’t feel like this book did much to further develop the characters and everything I did enjoy from the first book was missing in this book.
Also I felt the way Liam was acting was too controlling and it turned me off to me. I love a good Alpha but I don’t like guys who have to control a women and Liam crosses the line for my taste. I also didn’t really feel the chemistry between Liam and Bells and just couldn’t make myself care for them.
I do like Alex and might only continue to read just to get to his story.
Book two tops book one if that’s even possible! That ending was heartbreaking but so sweet all at the same time. I hate that these two have had so many close calls & are still being put through the wringer. I can’t wait for book three!
Twists and turns abound in this whirlwind we know as Blizzard
Twists and turns abound in this whirlwind we know as Blizzard. Liam and Bells continue to capture my heart and hold it captive just as they did in Avalanche. The turmoil of all that they've endured and all that they are currently facing had me holding my breath and turning the pages faster than even I knew was possible. Ren had me in tears more than once. His love of his family shined bright while his storyline has me utterly devastated. Alex definitely has a story to tell and I can't wait for it... but first I NEED the end (the true end and not just 'The End' of a book) to Liam and Bells' story. Can they have a HEA? Will he continue his father's legacy or will he seek out his own? Sooo many unanswered questions and so many unrevealed secrets. Not knowing how this will all pan out is stressful. What winter phenomenon will Cambria Hebert bring on next? Time will tell but I'll be certain to devour each and every word she gives us!
OMG! I’m a big ol’ mess. I’m stressed and I’m sad and I’m worried. This series is taking me on a rollercoaster of emotions, and the thing isn’t finished! I get so attached to the characters when I read a really good book, so I feel what they feel. Right now my stomach is in knots.
Liam and Bellamy were still the great couple I fell for in Avalanche. Their love for each other is so strong, and I hate that they missed so much during those years apart. I don’t want to provide any spoilers so I wont say anything else about the story. I will add that I love Alex. He’s a great friend to not only Liam but also Bellamy. It’d be good if he gets a book at some point too. And Charlie. What a special dog.
Although I am thoroughly enjoying Liam’s and Bellamy’s story, I’m ready to see how things with the mob asshole tie up. This might not have been a typical cliffhanger, however things were definitely left unsettled. I’m patiently awaiting the next book in this series.

Cambria’s books are never really flawed. Epic love, soul shattering plot lines, chaos and intrigue, sizzling steamy scenes that aren’t over done in the least and I love that so much. This book did NOT disappoint. So why the one missing star? It was the continued undying declarations of love. There was a lot of that in book one, I expected it, I embraced it, they were falling again, head over heels, all was well. Then there was so much of it in the beginning here and it was repetitive, the same thoughts just given a different way.....and then it just continued on and on and I just couldn’t anymore. I rolled my eyes every time.
BUT: the plot line and wrap up won me over in the end. It was definitely worth getting through and I’m excited to pick up the next one. ❤️ thank you for another amazing read!
Chugging right along with the BearPaw Resort series. This one had a bit less of the "feels" than the first one. There was a lot going on; like serious drama. I can't help but feel like with everything that just keeps coming one of them is going to crack. My money's on Liam. He's losing his grip. How much is too much for a single person to bear? Also... both Liam and Bellamy are starting to keep secrets from each other, important secrets, and we all know how that usually turns out. I guess we'll find out in book 3 once these facts come to light, how the relationship will fare. The ending in this one wasnt a cliffy, but it left the story with unanswered questions and a definite need for a 3rd book.
OMG!!! This is the best book I have read this year!
Cambria has serious talent in making characters that you cannot help but love and root for, and Liam and Bellamy are no exception.
This book gives you more information about Liam and his struggles, but it also gives you a better understanding of his strength and the depth of his love. Throw in Bells, and the issues she has to deal with currently, and you get a recipe for the best book I have read this year.
I cannot wait for the next one. I am sure it will be even better. I also can't wait for Alex to get his book and his bunny!!!!
Part 2 of Liam and Bellamy's story is just as addictive as part 1. Not gonna lie here I have been holding on to these books since Hebert has released each book, hiding my time until the series was complete and I had time to sit down and tear through the series. There is nothing better than that notice at the end of the book that tells you you have the next book in the series because YES I would like to continue reading. (Binge reading is the BEST.)
In Blizzard (which is not a stand alone) we get more Liam, more Bellamy, more Alex, more mob drama, more suspense, a little more drama, more snow and a whole bunch of feels.
