You can always count on Ms. White's books to be compelling and emotional. Tempted By Fire is just one more example of her extraordinary work.
Grace likes her job, she likes meeting people even if her male wolf shifter relatives make it next to impossible to meet a man. When dragon shifter Gideon starts showing up she has strange feelings. Not unwelcome but new. Of course, she doesn't know what he is or that dragons even exist. And they won't much longer if these 5 brothers don't find true mates. The consequences are dire. Is Grace his mate? Is that what these feelings mean? Why can't he just find out?
All good questions and ones you need to read to find out. The steamy tension is amazing. The family loyalty on both sides is top of the line. What does that mean for natural enemies who may just be fated for life. When a common enemy enters can they put aside their differences to save those important to them?
I love the series. Each book just seems to get better. The epilogue introducing book three has me hooked.

Tempted by fire is a definite must read! Dragonkeepers is the latest series by Kimber White and is scorching hot, in more than one way:)
Gideon is the next dragon shifter affected by the mating sickness. When he discovers his mate is Grace, and she is somehow involved with a wolf shifter pack, he tries his best to stay away but everything in him and her are drawing them together!
I loved reading this story and all the issues that came up between them, trying to keep them apart essentially....but the emotion, the scorching hot scenes and the surprises revealed all kept me on the edge of my seat and trying to think how it would all tie up and of course which brother was next up! Loved the ending and I can’t wait to see what Finn’s story reveals:)

New Allies
Basically once I started this book I really didn't want to put it down. It's as good as book one if not better. The author has given us delightful characters to read and care about what happens to them even with it being a fictional story.
In this book the lead characters are Gideon and Grace. Grace is something a little special and when you finish the book you will know just how special.
The author has done a lot to keep the story interesting and flowing so the reader get a full scope of the background of characters and weaves a tale of intrigue with a protagonist so that story is overwhelming sweet and sappy.
I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book without obligation to the author.

Thier family was hunted unto extinction. Gideon had his mother Avelina, and his 4 brothers Kian, Finn, Lock, and Xander. Xavier has already found his mate but the others? If they don't find thier they Could be lost to thier dragons.
Grace worked at the Bagel Bureau in Chicago and she is Gideon's mate. She also has ties to the local wolf pack.
Oh this had tons of action, betrayal, mystery, intrigue, drama, spice and more. I loved the characters there amazing. This series has me hooked! I can't wait for the next book!

Wow what a read, this series is great. Gideon’s story starts with a bagel shop, coming face to face with Grace. He knows she’s different, human but surrounded by shifters, wolves. He can’t seem to walk away. Grace has dreamt of fire all her life, but this intensifies when she meets Gideon, unfortunately it’s not straight forward for either dragon or wolf, will an allegiance be the key to this unlikely mating? What a story, great plot, great characters, lots of angst, we have a love story but also another plot going on which brings all our characters together. Some very sweet moments, some heated moments and a couple of scary ones but overall a great read.

This book was very good. Its the 2nd book in the series. This is Gideon and Grace's book. Gideon is about to lose his mind. If he doesn't find a mate soon he won't be able to control his dragon inside. He crosses paths with Grace, who is a barista with eyes like his own, and knows she is his mate. Grace is the daughter to one of the most powerful wolf shifter and is watched day and night. She also doesn't believe in dragons and such. Boy is she in for a surprise. There is a lot of tension between the dragons and the shifters. They certainly don't want her to mate with Gideon. Kept my interest right from the beginning. Highly recommend.

Kimber White has a great story line that she threads through her series. I would enjoy and rate her books with more stars, however, the inconsistency of scenes and the grammatical errors drive me crazy. She needs better editors. For example: Gideon is talking here, but Shae is Xander’s wife, not Gideon. Too many scenes like this don’t mesh.
“Look,” Gideon said. “I’m sure you and Xander have a lot more to talk about. I wish there was something I could say to make this easier on you. My wife...Shae...she’s not here right now.”

Tempted by Fire is surely a hot and sexy storyline. Another dragon fueled by the need to find his forever mate before he runs out of time, Finn zeroes in on a beautiful maiden. Kimber White crafts shifter book with skill and and packs in plenty of alpha sexy heat. Tempted by Fire is just one of her many books that are deliciously wicked and sinfully sexy to read. This is the 2nd book released in the Dragon Keepers Series by Kimber White. As per usual, the author has been able to weave a story that will leave you wanting more. It's full of action and steamy romance. I loved reading Gideon's story and learning more about the family and what they are challenged with. Grace's character complimented Gideon so well. I read the book cover to cover and cannot wait to read the next book in the series. I would recommend the book to anyone. 5 stars!

Overall I enjoy this series. I'd say I liked the first book a bit better though.

Dragon keepers book 2
After reading the first I had to read this one. Needless to say, I have also got to read the next in the series. Not my usual genre to read, but I've been impressed with the way the stories of both books pull you in and keep you there until you just have to know what else will happen.

I enjoyed this more than the first book and I liked how it showed more about the shifters and different clans. I did wish that they showed more about why Grace was able to touch the egg as I feel it wasn't explained enough even though she was the fated mate. Epilogue also left me desperate to know what happens in the third book.

This book really draws you in. You can feel what they feel because the descriptions a detailed but it still allows you to use your imagination. I'm so glad with how this turned out!

This is the second book of the series, and just as exciting as the first! International intrigue and family dynamics play a large part in this story. It definitely held my interest...it is 06:57 am and I have not slept yet! But soon...😴

Book two in the series is just as captivating as the first. The author doesn’t disappoint as she weaves two worlds together with two types of shifters. I was a bit surprised but the story worked out perfectly. Looking forward to book three.

In Tempted by Fire, we have the story continuation of the five remaining dragons on earth, they happen to be brothers. Each brother is slowly experiencing the madness that creeps in when they’ve gone too long without finding their mate.
This book was all about Gideon and Grace, and their explosive chemistry! They were drawn to each other from the beginning. I really liked that Grace already had knowledge of shifters, so she was fearless and calming for Gideon.
There are plenty of twists and turns, and a lot of mystery in this book to make it a fast-paced read. Pick up a copy, you’ll be glad you did!

I'm starting to really get into this dragon series. I normally stick to the werebears, werelions, and werewolves paranormal romance. But Kimber has a writing style that is just pleasant to read and enjoy. It is a very fast read and I look forward to reading Finn's story next.

Review of Dragon keepers series by Kimber White
I finally took the time yesterday to finish the Dragon keepers series written by Kimber White. I had finished books 1-3 months ago and have had books 4 and 5 in my Kindle Library for some time. Yesterday was a rainy day in Missouri and rather then do housework or nap, I settled down with a cup of tea, my fuzzy blanket in my recliner in front of my big picture window. With the dogs napping at my feet, the gentle rain falling outside and the birds performing for the Birdfeeder Olympics on my outdoor deck I finally clicked on Book 4, Claimed By Fire. Before I knew it, several hours had passed , my husband was calling me to dinner and I had completed book 4 and was more than halfway through the final book, Freed By Fire. I was so engrossed in the world of dragon shifters, magic and finding true love, I had no idea where time had gone. The house could have been on fire, zombies could have invaded my lower 40 acres , the world could have ended, and I would have never known, as I was far away on the West Coast in another dimension! This is exactly why I love reading anything Kimber White writes! She has the ability to transport you to another place and time, with the magic of her written words. Since this is why I read, a brief escape from everyday life, Kimber White has earned a special place on my bookshelf. The Dragon keepers series by Kimber White is a wonderful way to spend a lazy rainy afternoon.
The series consists of five books that follow the five billionaire dragon shifters, The Brandhart brothers, whose very successful enterprise is based in the Gold Coast of Chicago. Of course, the brothers are sexy alpha billionaires as we all know that dragons love their treasure! The brothers are a dying breed, their mother the Dragon Queen, Avelina, having survived the shifter and mage war, brought the brothers to life over 300 years ago. As far as the Brandharts and the world are concern, dragons are extinct. However, Avelina, continues to search for other dragon survivors who may be living in hiding. She sends her sons on quests throughout the world, following clues that might lead to finding others like themselves. The brothers are all beginning to show signs of “mating sickness” and are in danger of losing control of their dragons. Thus, finding their “fated mates” is imperative but to the brothers it may be as unlikely as the chances of finding anymore dragon shifters.
But there is more to this series then alpha males trying to find their “little woman”. Kimber’s heroines are not your submissive victim type females. Everyone of her female characters prove to be some bad-ass women who know how to kick -ass and take names. Its torture to a protective alpha male, but it adds a little spice to the relationship. And boy is the sex spicy and just a little bit on the dangerous side given a dragons propensity to bursting into flame when worked up!
Like many paranormal romances, there is plenty of steamy love scenes. What I especially enjoy about Kimber’s writings is that the sex does not dominate the story. There is plenty of action, mystery, magic and intrigue to go along with the passionate love story that makes this a romance. There are twists and turns in the plot that you never see coming. And of course, there is always a happily ever after waiting for you at the end.
Each of the five books are listed as a “stand-alone” novel. I would recommend reading the books in order they were written in order to get the full gist of the story. Also, it would be a shame to miss out on how masterfully Kimber weaves the storyline together and how her characters develop and grow as the series progresses. I am convinced you will come to love all the individuals in the tales and hate to leave the Brandharts behind.
I loved all five books and gave each 5-star rating. Unlike other series I have read, Lord of the Rings in particular, where one or two of the books are very well written and another just leaves you flat, in the Dragon Keepers collection, all five books are excellent. I found myself unable to put the books down. I lost a lot of sleep and my house looks like a tornado struck it, but it was well worth it. The books held my attention from page 1 till the end. And at the end I found myself not wanting to say goodbye to my new book friends. I hope this is not the last time I see or hear from the Brandhart dragons. If we are lucky, Kimber White has a sequel or two in mind.
So, if you are looking for your next good read, fall in love with Kimber White’s dragons. It is well worth the fall and like me, you may find yourself soaring away with dragons, magic and most of all love.

Unlike other series I have read, Lord of the Rings in particular, where one or two of the books are very well written and another just leaves you flat, in the Dragon Keepers collection, all five books are excellent. I found myself unable to put the books down. I lost a lot of sleep and my house looks like a tornado struck it, but it was well worth it. The books held my attention from page 1 till the end. And at the end I found myself not wanting to say goodbye to my new book friends. I hope this is not the last time I see or hear from the Brandhart dragons. If we are lucky, Kimber White has a sequel or two in mind.
So, if you are looking for your next good read, fall in love with Kimber White’s dragons. It is well worth the fall and like me, you may find yourself soaring away with dragons, magic and most of all love.
