In The Navy SEAL's Secret Baby, Sophie and David get a second chance after she sneaks out on him the morning after their hot one night stand. But she has a secret that might make him think differently about her, about the reunion he's been dreaming of since she sneaked away from him.
This one is sweet and sexy and David and Sophie are a great couple even though their story could have used more fleshing out and a less rushed ending.
This time it's Sophie and David's best friends, Callie & Kyle, who get their own second chance in A Second Chance at Love. Though they shared an intense connection, Kyle's insecurities because of his PTSD and loss of a limb cause him to push her away and break both their hearts. But their second chance could be in their grasps when they see each other again in a twist of fate. But this time, the two will have to communicate and be open to love if they want to make it work.
I liked this one more than The Navy SEAL's Secret Baby, because Kyle in particular is endearing, with his sweet nature and insecurities that he fights hard to get past.
All in all, a nice short story collection of two SEALs and the women they love.

Seals in Love is a book with two love stories in it with best friends that fall in love with best friends. They kind of interconnect so it flows together well. Seals in Love is a sweet romance that I really enjoyed. It was nice to have a story that was sweet but still sexy.

I've read books by this author before and I couldn't wait to read this one I love her style of writing and believe me this book did not disappoint, it was fantastic. This book is two short novella's and both couples stories we're written beautifully.
Book #1 -
This story belongs to Sofie and David.
When Sofie catches her ex boyfriend cheating on her she doesn't give him the satisfaction of moping and instead decides to go out and let her hair down. She meets this sexy as hell man who makes her feel very cherished in such a short space of time and has a one night stand, they also have a great connection together.
Book #2 -
This book is Callie and Kyle story.
This is book/ part two and these two are friends of Sofie and David.
Kyle and David were both seals together to but he had to be medically discharged, Callie is a real supportive caring person.
When Callie and Kyle meet these two souls also have a fabulous connection and a lot of hotness together.
I really enjoyed reading this book and at first I thought they were both separate books but no they are connected. Both of these stories are quick reads that both could have been single standalone books in a new series maybe. I loved the characters and how this author writes.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I really enjoyed it. Two short stories in one book that will leave you wanting more. Fun stories about two friends who connect with two friends and how they are able to find their HEA in the last place they expected. Great read for a lazy afternoon or if you just need a fix of hot military men.

This book had two stories in it about Navy Seal friends.
Book One: The Navy SEAL's Secret Baby
Sofie catches her boyfriend cheating and instead of wallowing in misery she throws her arms up and calls her BFF and says it's time to drink. She meets a man and becomes pregnant but has no idea where the dad it. Two years later fate decides to throw her for a trip and she meets the man that she never stopped thinking about. David Marshall has always been a seal and now hes out trying to figure out what is going on in his life. When he runs into the one women who has crossed his mind he has no idea what he's going on. But when she drops a bomb your on pins and needles to see if he will loose his mar balls. I loved how this story was written and show what live is like for an active duty member. Sofie and David have some things to sort through. Now it's to find out if they can and if she will allow him to see his child.
Book Two: A Second Chance at Love
This is the story of Sofie's best friend Callie. She is a fun loving girl who only wants what's best for her friends and family. At a dinner where she meets David's best friend Kyle. Well sparks really flew with them. However what I loved about this story is Callie saw past Kyles's missing limb and just felt so passionately about him. Their off the charts love making will make your heart melt. But what happens when everything is said and done and it's time to go their separate ways? Will Kyle keep Callie or will he let her go?

There are two standalone novellas within this book. While the characters are all present in the first book as a way of introduction, their stories are separate and unrelated. I equally enjoyed both stories. Some of my favorite tropes include ex-military. These characters have a good amount of baggage and that makes the story more complex and the endings even more delicious.
Four people believing they aren't destined to find love. Each has a bit of baggage but nothing too heavy. The heroines are somewhat insecure and hesitant to allow themselves to take down the walls around their hearts. The heroes, specifically Kyle, is very protective of his heart. When the four of them come together. each in their own ways, they all realize they found something special. But the real question is.....will they be brave enough to take a chance on forever or risk losing the best thing to ever happen to them.
There is not a lot of character development because of the short length of the individual novellas. The attractions are instant and strong. That said, I enjoyed how the author drew out the relationship development a bit so the book didn't have that stereotypical lust/love at first sight feeling. At least it didn't for me. In addition, there is some angst and emotional feels. Each couple had a different story which did not tie into the other. I also appreciated that individuality. One more plus for me is that I discovered a new author that I will definitely check out in the near future.

In The Navy SEAL's Secret Baby, we meet Sofia who came home to her long time boyfriend in bed with another woman. She kicked him out, called a friend and went out drinking....way to much drinking and met David, who she had one wonderful night with, then snuck out. David looked for her in same bar every weekend until he had to deploy, but never found her again. Meanwhile Sofia discovers she's pregnant, being in her 30's decides to keep child, a beautiful baby girl named Mia, raising her by herself, with help from her aunt and uncle, while she is nurse at VA hospital. She takes a vacation when Mia is a toddler, a beach escape with her friend Callie...and meets David Marshall again as he is in Miami visiting owner of beach house next to their rental...now she has to talk to him, but what will his reaction be??? In the second book, A second Chance at Love, we continue with characters seen in story of David and Sofia, but this story concentrates on Kyle and Callie. Kyle owns the Miami beach house where David is visiting. He was medically retired from the SEALs after losing part of his leg. Going out to dinner with Sofia and David, he meets her best friend Callie, who is there for a few days after Sofia scheduled to return. They hit it off, as she is also a VA nurse, she has no qualms about his leg, unlike his previous fiancé who didn't deal well with his injury or needs for therapy...they were seeing each other until he decides he didn't want more heartache and ghosted her for her last couple of days in Miami...but Callie was meeting her Sorority sister's in Myrtle Beach before heading back to work, so decides that would waylay any hurt feelings over Kyle...except Kyle in Myrtle Beach with a few of his buddies, right next door to the girls...so can't ignore Callie and decides maybe it's fate that brought them back together....but you will need to read these two cute stories to see if love at the beach can last forever...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

This book contains two short hot romances about two ex seals David and Kyle. They go away to Miami every year to have a guys week away. This time next door having a girls week away are Callie and her friend Sofie. While at the beach David is stunned to see Sofie who he'd been yearning from over the years and never thought he'd ever see again. Sofie had run out on him one night scared and didn't know his name or anything. She finds herself pregnant from this one time and since she didn't know any details about him she was unable to find him to let him know. Now fate had thrown them together will they end up together or will they go their separate ways at the end of their break.
Book two is about Kyle and Callie who get thrown together when David and Sofie take them out on a foursome while on their getaway. They find themselves with great chemistry together but both too scared to commit to a relationship for their own reasons due to their pasts. Will a long-distance relationship be able to work or will it hinder their romance.

He was so understanding, protective and comprehensive… on resume he was an angel. Sophie was also a great female character. I thought I wasn't gonna dislike her a little but she surprised me being really nice and also understanding abot what she did after that night. Her baby connected them for an everlasting love.

Kyle I adored him with all my heart. Pretty much I love him! My heart ached for Callie and Kyle at the beginning but they found their way back to each other and they were so perfect to each other. I really loved Sofie and David’s story. I’m a sucker for a good secret baby romance and TNSSB delivered! This story lacked a punch with its perfect blend of steam, feels, and sweet military alpha. A quick, fun read I definitely recommend for lovers of this trope.

SEALs in Love are two books in one, which is always a great thing in my opinion. They're both short(ish) reads about two different couples, but interconnect anyway. Book 1 is Sofie & David. Sophie catches her boyfriend cheating, and while she was hurt, she didn't let it get her down, which is how she meets David. Book 2 is Callie & Kyle's story, who are friends of Sofie & David. See, Kyle was a teammate of David, but he got hurt, while Callie is the perfect person to care for him, as he has some slight issues from it all. Both couples have chemistry in spades, some baggage which hit me in the feels, but not in an OTT way, so I had all kinds of respect for the strength. I LOVE L.K. Shaw's SEALs so much, and once you start experiencing them, you will too! So, hit those one click buttons to see how it all plays out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I really enjoyed these two love stories , both couples were likable with the story line written well but it did feel like things happened alittle fast would have liked certain situations happening not so rushed . The chemistry was off the charts you could really feel what the characters are going through and just wanting them to get a happy ending . I hope there will be books for some of the other characters mentioned they all need a story to be told . I'm hopping this isn't the last we see of the characters they were just lovable there was nothing bad about any character . But again the only slight problem was that things seemed to be rushed a bit . I am looking forward to reading more by L.K. Shaw in the future .

I read The Navy SEAL’s Secret Baby some time ago and loved it, and that it is now with Kyle and Callie’s story is a bonus. LK Shaw has a way of writing characters that feel like real people, people you’d want to know, people that have experiences that affect them as they would affect you. And Sophie and David are a couple that make you happy and hopeful. David never questions her about Mia, and there is never any doubt that they have the willpower together to make a relationship work. I absolutely loved these two books. Short, sweet and enjoyable. I absolutely loved the characters, chemistry and storyline. Instant chemistry, heat and just two great books all in one.
The first one is about Sofia and David. Sofia goes to the bar with her best friend after finding her now ex in bed with someone else. Her and David have a one night stand that leads to a surprise. Then one day she runs into David again and their is instant chemistry just like there was when they were at the bar. But will these two be able to be together?
The second one is about David's friend and Sofia's best friend. These two meet at a dinner with David and Sofia. They have instant heat. A one night stand but neither one of them can get the other out of their head. Then they end up meeting up again while on vacation. Will these two get together?
I loved this one and wanted more from both couples. But each story was well written and enjoyable from beginning to end.

If you love a steamy romance with a hot military guy, then you should certainly check out L.K. Shaw's latest, SEALs in Love.
I'm new to Shaw's writing and I'm happy that I made this romance short-story duet my first. While I truly enjoyed both stories, I have to say that The Navy Seals Secret Baby was probably my favorite of the two. Sophie and David had that chemistry between them and who knew that the two of them would reconnect! David was just an all-around nice guy, recently retired out of the military, and he handled it like a pro finding out he had a daughter. A Second Chance at Love is Callie and Kyle's story, two characters that were introduced in the first story.
Both stories are fast-paced, quick reads and there's no shortage of steam. If you enjoy stories about serious subject matters about respectable men with a bit of romance, you'll want to check out SEALs in Love. Love these both and I look forward to reading more from Shaw.

SEALs In Love follows the lives and loves of two former SEALs. Both stories are intensely passionate but the themes are entirely different!
The Navy SEAL’s Secret Baby follows Sofie and David. They share a life altering evening and end up meeting again, only to discover that the magnetism and attraction they felt, hasn’t disappeared at all and David is about to find out about the biggest surprise of all.
A Second Chance at Love is the second story in this book and does exactly what it says in the title. Both Kyle and Callie are incredibly complicated characters and with a whole world of baggage between them, it makes for a brilliant read, full of angst and emotion.
This book was quite cathartic and had a really lovely feel good factor. Definitely worth a read!

A book with not one but two Navy Seals that find their forever love. This book is about second chances David and Sofia meet and have one night and then are separated by circumstances. Meeting again was not something that they expected but FATE had other plans. Love and fire works for for them brining them closer. Kyle meets Callie when David reunites with Sofia. Their connection was strong but both knew was short lived. Reuniting was something they never expected. This book is filled with the surprise of love winning over time and distance. Second chances are the best kinds of reads!

This was my first story by this author, and I wasn't disappointed. This book had 2 fast pace short romance stories. Each couple does receive their happily ever after in the end. The first story was my favorite, and I honestly didn’t it to end. There was very little drama with a ton of communication between the characters. It was a cute second chance romance with a secret baby. The second story has the classic push and pull between the characters. They've both been hurt in the past, and they let their fears and insecurities control their actions. They decided the connection between them was worth fighting for. I 'm looking forward to reading other books by L.K. Shaw.

This book gives you two very enjoyable interconnected novellas in one convenient package. David and Sofie and Kyle and Callie are appealing characters that are easy to root for and connect with. Both of these story will tug on your heartstrings and have you feeling swoony with the complex blend of emotional turmoil, tension and drama that is woven throughout. Great reads. I'm choosing to post an forthright review.

This is a well written book, with two full stories. Both are real alive and sexy. All the characers are real and rounded. Their interaction is alive. Both seals carry battle scars, and their women have lived full lives before they got together. I enjoyed the hot spicy sexy scenesmand happy endings. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I very highly recommend it. This book is pure escapism and just what is needed to read at the moment.

This is a 2 short stories in one book. I think it's a prequel to a series in which characters from this book will appear. The first half is the story of David and Sofie. The second is Callie and Kyle. Both stories feature Navy guys and heart broken girls looking for Mr Right. It's cute, fun and hot.

Y'ALL. I'm so in love with these SEALS!! I loved how the two stories were connected, and I seriously love a good military romance. L.K. knocked it out of the park with these two! I was drawn in from the first page and didn't put the book down until it was done.
