Satoru's mom really said the power of motherly love

By far my favourite volume so far ~very different from the other ones, I feel like from now on the tone of the story will change. I even teared up a little bit. On to volume 7!

Woah! So much happened in this volume And it was intense! While the killer was obvious from the beginning, the build-up and tense atmosphere were excellent!
Killer's motives were explained but I can't believe there can be such mentality..He is a psychopath!
Aahhh the last part.. Even though I was happy for the turning of events, what happened to Satoru was so unfair! Poor boy..
PS: Kenya is genious.

Creo que es el que me he leído más rápido, lo disfruté muchísimo y al terminar de leerlo me quedo con una muy buena sensación, la verdad tenía mis ligeras sospechas pero a la vez me tomo por sorpresa la revelación, nosé si es el que más me ha gustado hasta ahora pero probablemente si.

l'idée d'un adult qui se réveille après des annees de coma qui normalement n'a pas vécu sa jeunesse mais en fait la vécu parce qu'il a voyagé dans le temps pour sauver quelqu'un - mais il ne l'a pas vécu parce qu'il a changé l'histoire... what a mind job! j'aime bien qu'on voit ses amis grands et on comprend qu'il a vraiment changé sa vie parce qu'il était plutôt solitaire dans sa vie précédant. j'espère que ce n'est pas le dernier livre. je crois qui'il en reste 3. i want the killer to be caught!

Fue re chan todo(?). Tuve muchísimos sentimientos encontrados con estos personajes, me llegaron al cora y es imposible no emocionarse con cada cosa que les pasa.
Lo terminé de leer hace días pero me había olvidado de actualizar ésto(?).

Omg, there are a lot of differences between the manga and anime in this one.
For one, they go into Yashiro's back story. He started kidnapping girls because of his brother. His brother would molest girls. He would lure them to his brother. His brother also beat the crap out of him. He would care for the girl's after his brother molested them.
One time his brother actually killed one of the girls. They found her body. His brother committed suicide. Yashiro wanted to be a teacher. He went after a little girl. He murdered her. He got engaged to someone. She was suspicious of him. He murdered her.
Wow. That didn't happen in the anime at all. The story about the spider's thread was in the anime though.
Also Satoru waking up after 15 years. One part that wasn't in the anime was the books Kenya wrote for him.
Airi also showing up at the end...was unexpected. That didn't happen in the anime either.

Easily the best one so far. I knew who the villan was from watching The TV show, but they added a ton more to his backstory in this.

Joder, es que cuando Sanbe se pone en serio, logra hacer algo maravilloso. Si el tomo anterior me había parecido previsible, este es lo más inesperado que se puede echar uno a la cara en un thriller. Para mí, este es el gran plot twist de la obra, y no el que se gestaba en los volúmenes anteriores.
Desaparecido vuelve a lo que se le da bien al autor: los momentos catárticos y la sensación de estar leyendo algo fresco y original. Tan solo me ha fallado que el autor no le haya dedicado tantos capítulos a la recuperación y que, en su lugar, haya puesto una narración en ocasiones un poco chusta. Comprendo la dificultad de resumir tanta historia en poco tiempo, pero creo que la condensación le hace un flaco favor a la obra. En todo caso, permite que algunos momentos lleguen de sopetón y ello permite que la sorpresa sea mayor.
La primera parte del tomo, ese "enfrentamiento" final y la backstory del personaje, justifica correctamente las acciones que han llevado a la situación presente y ofrece una profundidad inesperada a lo que hasta entonces era un personaje bastante plano. Además, las páginas dobles, aunque abundantes, hacen que todo se sienta climácico, acorde a las expectativas, y Sanbe pone toda la carne en el asador para hacer el paneling interesante y conclusivo.
La segunda parte, más centrada en episodios varios tras el incidente, es donde todo encaja emocionalmente. No solo es todo un impacto, sino que también tiene sentido dentro de la propia historia y se siente como algo realmente bien pensado desde el inicio: la inclusión de los revivals hace que varios puntos narrativos ganen fuerza y tensión en un punto bastante más relajado del argumento. Sachiko es, probablemente, uno de los personajes más bonitos que he leído en mucho tiempo. Solo vemos pinceladas de ella, pero cada momento en que aparece se queda con la escena por su astucia, su actitud y, sobre todo, su dedicación absoluta a aquellos que ve como merecedores de su amor. "Cuatro horas al día durante quince años" es una línea muy potente en este manga y muestra que Sachiko merece un lugar en los altares de cualquier hogar. Bless her pure soul.
Este tomo permite a Sanbe algunas licencias creativas que llevan la trama por derroteros muy interesantes. La resolución de Kayo es también genial en ese respecto porque elimina cualquier situación ideológicamente problemática de anteriores capítulos sin perder credibilidad. Vamos, que todo muy bien. Es un tomo bien parido que solo se siente algo frustrante por esa necesidad de los bocadillos narrativos.

Mi corazoncito se rompió un poco por el tomo, pero al mismo momento lo reparo.

A warning to potential readers out here. This volume contains scenes of suicide and talks of sexual abuse. A viewer’s discretion is advised.
I ruined my moment of finding out who the killer is by reading the reviews from the previous volume. But nevertheless, the outcome is still surprising. Poor Satoru was too caught up saving the victims while he continues to live in the past that he’s forgotten one important bit to consider; himself. It completely slipped out of his mind to protect his own as well.
You know how the saying goes about a situation having two sides on a story? It’s what I’m anticipating for once the cat’s already out of the bag in regard to unveil who’s the prime suspect for the (past) tragedies in Satoru’s life. Gaku Yashiro’s no exception with this one, as this particular volume serves as his own spotlight for once.
There are a few memorable parts from here as well, my favorite being how vital it is for someone to make good use of what they have as resources and to treat oneself more kindly by believing on their capabilities.

I did not like this book. Is this supposed to be some sort of heroic thing ? like "he gave his life so that others could live" ? I feel like this character also is not build together clearly, he pretends to not care about the others when he so clearly does everything to be a hero. I don't know.
Also, the last half of this last book was... useless ? I don't know how I really feel about it. Maybe it was to give the book an ending ? I think I would have prefered Satoru to die in the water incident, and the teacher to be arrested, or to leave the city or something. Because, if I understand clearly, noone was arrested, the kidnapper is still out ther doing his thing, AND Satoru is super damaged. So is the moral "whatever you do, you can't escape fate" ?

Questo manga continua a sorprendermi positivamente e io sono sempre più curiosa di scoprire cosa succederà negli ultimi tre volumi!
Nel quarto volume la storia aveva finalmente preso una piega diversa da quella originale e i vari avvenimenti sembravano incastrarsi alla perfezione per portare Satoru alla scoperta dell'assassino ma, in questi due volumi, nuovi colpi di scena ribalteranno ulteriormente la situazione e vi lasceranno a bocca aperta. Este manga se supera tomo tras tomo, y de formas bastante sutiles. Las dos partes contenidas en este volumen pasarían por mero relleno en otros mangas, pero en este caso se siente realmente como desarrollo de personajes. La primera parte relata la vida de Yashiro, y la segunda vuelve a la época actual, en donde obviamante todo ha cambiado. Ninguna de estas dos historias tiene nada de particular o revolucionario, pero Kei Sanbe se toma su tiempo para mostrar como han cambiado los personajes y de esa forma avanzar la historia y generar suspenso. No puedo esperar a leer los últimos 2 tomos.

15 tahun mengalami koma. Mendekati tahun berawalnya revival, akhirnya mulai muncul kesadaran. Banyak yang berubah. Salut banget sama ibunya Satoru yang telaten ngerawat anaknya. Aku pikir Satoru akan bersama Kayo. Tapi memang sepertinya Satoru nggak punya perasaan khusus terhadap Kayo *efek salting, ngeblush, dsb. ya wajar sih XD*.
Di akhir ketemu Airi malah pingsan lagi. Kalau dipikir, Airi ketemu sama Satoru di tahun 2005. Apa sebelum revival, Satoru juga bertemu Airi di tempat kerja tahun segitu?

Cadeau de mon grand frère, et il a tapé juste !
On est loin de la new romance mais vraiment, je pense avoir adoré au moins 6 tomes sur 8. J’ai quand même eu du mal avec les retours en arrière (je ne suis pas très fan). À part ça, beaucoup d’actions, d’intrigue, le personnage principal est attachant et a de belles valeurs. C’était un plaisir de le suivre dans sa quête de vérité. Il y a eu du suspense du début à la fin, on est sur une Happy End :)

Ein absolutes Spannungshighlight innerhalb der Reihe, finde ich.
Und endlich überträgt sich die Atmosphäre, die mich in den Grundschulzeiten so gepackt hat, auch in Satorus Gegenwart.
Ich kann mit den Charakteren inzwischen richtig mitfühlen und man erhält auch neue Einblicke in bestimmte Charaktere.
Spannung ist nach wie vor da.
Und endlich überträgt sich die Atmosphäre, die mich in den Grundschulzeiten so gepackt hat, auch in Satorus Gegenwart.

Wah, I'm so so sad. It's not fair how many years he lost :<. And the fact all of his friends had their own lives and the girl he once liked was married and with a child of one of his best friends, it really broke my heart<\3. Of course I was really happy to see all the group as grown-ups, and I was really happy about them being able to move on. But it hurts so much at the same time :(

Die Konfrontationsszene, die Hintergrundgeschichte des Täters und auch der Rehabilitierungsprozess sind wieder einmal viel besser dargestellt. Dadurch wirkt das Ende nicht mehr so schräg, wie im Anime. Nur gibt es immer weniger, was passiert (im Anime) und noch immer drei Manga.

Oh wow, I still hope that it wasn't him, so yeah... that's crazy.
The suspense is not as high as the previous, this one more like a relief if you know what I mean.
Finally we got an answer and the background story of the kller, and now I'm curious how this will end.
Another awesome read.
