I pledged to wait for him. I broke that promise, and now I am living a nightmare. A nightmare I'm determined to escape. I've worked for months to save the money needed to get out, only to have my chance at freedom taken from me at the worst possible time. Now I've got to bide my time, mind my manners and hope with everything in me that I can survive until the chance presents itself again.
She is the one girl I've loved since I met her in elementary school. She took care of me after each of my father's episodes, nursing me back to health and keeping me safe for years. I have fallen in love with these steamy and sassy characters. Wonderful storyline with lots of twists and excitement! When you play this out in your head like a movie, you know its a good one! I definitely can't wait for the next book from the fabulous J. Silence!

I was very intrigued and angry about this novel. Because I just don’t believe in men abusing women, but I understand that this had to be said in telling Abi ‘s story. Too know that both people were able to survive domestic abuse and find true love is one for the record for me. Love can be journey but it’s worth it when you find that special person. What an amazing love story!!!
