Hollyfield have written another hilarious and incredibly steamy romantic comedy! ”SUNDAYS ARE FOR HANGOVERS”, is an enemies-to-lovers story that is sure to be a smashing hit for these two authors. I hope that they continue to collaborate because their writing chemistry is pure gold! I will, without a doubt, read anything published by this duo.
I loved this book from beginning to end. It was a laugh-out-loud and panty melting good time. The plot was entertaining and the main characters were equally lovable. The couple had incredible chemistry. You could feel the sexual tension vibrating between them from the very start. Will Grant is one hell of a sexy nerd with his glasses and bow ties. Glasses and bow ties may sound unappealing but they work for him. Will is also one seriously HOT Alpha male!
Will and Lilith are next door neighbors who have been carrying on a bitter feud for the past year. Will is the president of the neighborhood association and has harassed Lil on more than one occasion for numerous offenses. The two take turns playing pranks on each other, but through it all, they both can’t deny they feel an attraction between them.
After one heated argument, Will can no longer control his desires and the two end up having explosive sex which only leaves them wanting more. The couple develops a feverish addiction for each other, but both Will and Lilith are holding something back that could end up tearing them apart.
Will secrets from their pasts put an end to their romance?

This was such a fun easy full of banter kinda over the top read. It’s a fun ridiculous not to be taken seriously book about two neighbors who “hate” each other and have been making each other’s life so hard with their attitude and their pranks. Some parts were silly, others were funny. The characters felt kinda immature and dramatic at times, but as I said I don’t think you’re supposed to take them seriously. Overall it was such an okay easy to read book if you need a quick fun time.

There was more than one “not so heroic moments” by the hero.
He messes up THREE times and she forgives him.
I didn’t particularly enjoy this book.
Heroine sounded way too good for him and I think she forgave him too quickly and settled for him because he was the first one to see her as she is, not her money.
But unlike her I couldn’t see past his mistakes.
The second time he screwed up, unlike heroine I didn’t blame him for snapping at her parents but what he did AFTER was pure douche move with double standards. He demanded she opened up to him but shut down the moment she demanded the same of him. It was very much all taking on his part in the relationship, no giving.
Then the next day he comes to her claiming he’ll fix it, they’ll talk things out and be honest and the first thing he does when asked about the OW is tell her she’s “nothing”! She was his EX-FIANCÉE FFS!
who came to see if they could rekindle things! Who’s been trying to contact him over phone to reconnect FOR QUITE A WHILE by the sound of it.
Then by talking he meant he’ll give heroine vague ideas that he was a “bad” boy in the past! He does NOT disclose ANYTHING!
Then, the third mistake, he does NOT disclose ANYTHING! So now heroine’s father discloses his past to heroine and he dared demand heroine let him explain? He should have done that BEFORE! And by the sound of it, he would NOT have told heroine about his past or his fiancée if she didn’t find everything out.
Oh but hey, he still kept demanding heroine told HIM everything and then tell her dad to fuck off.
Heroine’s dad was a POS, yes, but how is the hero anymore trustworthy? He’s the one to judge?
And after EVERY screw up, he doesn’t respect her space or boundaries. He takes her outdoors spare key and helps himself to her house WITHOUT her permission EVERY time. That still counts as breaking and entering and that is DEFINITELY harassment! He didn’t let her cool off a single time so my feelings that heroine just settled for him only been reinforced.
Now coming to his very first mistake. Which I just couldn’t get past or brush off like heroine’s bff did. I guess he was a guy first, friend second.
I understand he has traumas relating to fire. But SURELY his grandma showed concern throughout the whole episode? By the sound of it she cared first for him then anything else. And hero is claiming he’s very attached to heroine already.
So heroine accidentally sets fire on hero’s kitchen and burns his really expensive coffee maker. The first thing he asks was WTF she has done to his kitchen, then refuses to listen to her that it was accident while berating her for destroying his one of a kind coffee maker, and then snapping at her that she couldn’t possibly afford to replace it for him when she finally gave up and offered to replace it for him!
At no point of time did he even WONDER if she was ok even to himself, let alone ask her. Trust me, he had no intention of asking after her wellbeing because that thought never even occurred to him until heroine finally snapped and told him she can definitely afford a measly $3k coffee machine, and she’s fine, no thanks for asking.
She took him back after that????
Ladies, I don’t care HOW strong the orgasm is, if this EVER happens, I want you to promise me that you’ll punch them on the face and run the other way????
Same rule applies for guys too (just hold on the punch, you might get in trouble, equality doesn’t factor into this).
Since this happened very early in the book, I never warmed up to the guy. When he declared his love, it didn’t ring true and I just never believed him to be a caring person! He sounded extremely shallow and selfish.
This book and this couple should have never gotten past the first incident. That mistake was enough and was one too many. This should have ended there. NOTHING could EVER redeem him, and NOTHING DID.
There is also subtle misogyny running through the book. Apart from taking and using heroine’s spare key to force himself in her space, he drove her car, WITHOUT her permission, he just told her and got in the driver’s seat, (it’s a cherry red mustang, all guy’s wet dream, so I DO know it’s an extremely chauvinist thing to take over driving of THAT car), any guy trying that would lose all three legs!
He carried her out physically from in front of her co-workers humiliating her because he didn’t like the other guy touching her. In process he almost costed the heroine her job, not to mention that was also sexual harassment on his part and physical assault and humiliating for the heroine!
Plot hole: we never found out WTF it was about the scam and his break up with ex, or why they actually broke up. (Or I may have missed it)
Safety: by the sound of it they were too busy pranking and hating each other not to be abstinent since they met!
They both used random people to make each other jealous, it was extremely petty, and sounded like something 18 YOs may do, not grown ups!
Sadly no safe sex.
björk was a dormant character cat, with rare occurrences.

I found a new favorite writting pair!
K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield are competing with Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward on whose the best pair to write fun, hot, contemporary Romance.
I picked up this book mostly intrigued by it's summary and enemy-to-lovers theme and it was so much fun to read about these characters. I loved them to pieces.
This story has everything I look for in contemporary romance. It has moments to laugh out loud with tears in your eyes, it has moments to make you feel so tender and soft like melting, it certainly has many *smoking hot* moments and - what I did not expect - moments to give you heartbroking tears.
Did I mention that I loved it?
I can only fault it for one minor thing but eventually it didn't bother me enough to diminish my good time while reading it.

We were two hurricanes colliding into a beautiful storm.
This was such a good neighbor enemies to lovers read. The sexual tension between these two is STEAMY, and their back and forth is also pretty dang funny. You will root for Lil and Will, and if you don’t then you’re clearly reading the wrong book, because these two are sweet sexy funny goals.

This was actually a pretty cute story, which I wasn't expecting. I liked the connection between Lilith and Will, and how crazy it was in the beginning. And then I liked seeing how that fighting became something hotter. It wasn't a very smexy story but that sexual tension definitely brought some heat to it.
This is certainly a writing duo I would read again and I can't wait to see what other craziness they can come up with.

This book is super funny! It's a neighbors from hell kind of story and features the enemies to lovers trope that many readers adore! K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield are a dynamic duo and whenever they write a book together you can be sure I am going to read it. If you like your heroes nerdy, dirty, and flirty then you are going to want to read this one and meet Will (aka: Wonka, Willy). This man stole my heart the second he started checking his grass and calling in complaints about his obnoxious (but sexy) neighbor. If you like your heroines sassy, mouthy, and obnoxiously funny when drunk, then you are not going to want to miss Lilith (aka: the demon next door). She is a fresh and hilarious character that swiftly won my heart. And these two together? Absolutely priceless .
A quick run down: This is a standalone, romantic comedy. It features two neighbors who are constantly getting on one anothers nerves and pulling hilarious pranks on one another. But alas, this is a romance, and soon these pranks start getting them HOT. Could they really find love after all the hate? Could these polar opposites ever come together as one beautiful couple or will they always clash over their differences? Well, go along the journey with them to find out by reading this laugh out loud novel! I highly recommend it.

Lilith and Will are neighbors and total opposite attitudes. Lilith moved into the neighborhood about a year ago and since then has been the pain in the a$$ to Will. Will has OCD issues, makes plans and tries to keep everything clean/Perfect. Will did have a long-term girlfriend and he had a five year plan for them before going further but she ended up breaking up with him three years into...that was two years ago. Now he just works, obsesses with order and his archenemy...his neighbor. The one love in his life is his funny grandma who wants him to be happy and marry along with giving her Great Grand-babies.
Lilith parents are high strung, rich and have a life plan for her to live. They want her to marry their best-friends Son and work within the company. But Lilith was able to convince her father to give her a year break to do what she wanted to get it out of her system. Now her year is up and she is finding she doesn't want to go back. Lilith life right now is fun, free and she does work as a DJ...a job she loves. The only downfall is the neighbor next door, Will. Lilith has tried to be friends with him but he is to up-type and sees her as just as nuisance. But the one thing they both have in common is their hot attraction to each other that they both try to avoid...until they can't!

So many laugh out loud moments!
Lilith and Will are neighbors who don't exactly get along after nearly a year of them going back and forth the two finally come head to head... in the bedroom that is... I mean, what? No I didn't type that.
Finally, finally, FINALLY! I have not given a book 5 stars in awhile and this book helped me easily give it the 5 stars! I was laughing out loud in so many spots and rereading lines just to laugh all over again.
I loved Will so hard and Lilith is my damn spirit animal! I loved her personality so much, I wish I could be friends with her.
I really loved this story and I love when these two authors get together and write! I think they write so well together!

Finally, finally, FINALLY! I have not given a book 5 stars in awhile and this book helped me easily give it the 5 stars! I was laughing out loud in so many spots and rereading lines just to laugh all over again.
I loved Will so hard and Lilith is my damn spirit animal! I loved her personality so much, I wish I could be friends with her.
I really loved this story and I love when these two authors get together and write! I think they write so well together!

Empecé con muchas ganas este libro porque es un enemies to lovers y sumándole que son vecinos me imaginé que sería del estilo de la serie Neighbor from hell pero nada que ver muy alejado de la realidad.
Me decepcionó bastante para empezar no me creí su odio, a mí me molestan muchas cosas de mis vecinos a veces quisiera que se mudaran pero no por eso los odio. Sus bromas que pretenden hacer reír pues no me causaron gracia y luego de la nada ya se siente lujuriosos el uno por el otro y ya se aman pasaron de un sentimiento a otro demasiado rápido y no se los creí.
Hay otro fallo y este es en cuanto al personaje de Will que se supone que es un nerd y no lo supieron desarrollar en ningún momento me imaginé a un freak nerd sexy que tanto me gustan sino a alguien común en el género un adonis sexual, tache.
Que desilusión esperaba leer a K. Webster en un género diferente y no le salió es como si estuviéramos leyendo un erótico de ella como disque comedia chafa.

Oh. My. Gawd! I loved this book. I laughed so hard that i had stitches in my sides. Then again, i'm not that surprised by how much i loved this book or how much of a comical relief this book was since i had read previous books by both authors individually and as a writing duo - they are truly amazing. They have this way of being in synch and managing to write something that is seamless. There's simply no denying the fact that these two together are fantastic.
These characters are believable in so many ways. They raze on one another, no bars barred as they go about pranking one another to try to make each other feel things they wish they could deny. And when they do get together, trust me, the things they do are still as hilarious as they were when they were neighbors who hated one another.
I wish i could say something bad about this book, or simply state that a certain part didn't agree with me, but truthfully, there wasn't. in a time when i needed something to get my mind off of reality, this book came at the right place, at the right moment. It was that engaging and that much of a vacation from life's stresses. Honestly, i can't wait to read more from these two - whether they do it as a duo or individually, i'm more than a little excited!

Remember back in the day how popular RL Mathewson’s Neighbors From Hell books were? This book is like that, only a million times better. Any issues with over the top things from the NFH books was missing in this. Yes, there were still pranks, and bickering and snarky conversations but this book was perfection. *disclaimer* Not to say that the NFH books weren’t perfection to some, but while I really loved some, and enjoyed the series overall, I ALWAYS found an issue with them that annoyed me.*
Anyway, I loved watching Lilith and William fight and slowly fall for each other. They had me laughing and crying (from laughing so hard)! I loved how well they got along, once they REALLY started spending time together and not jut to annoy each other. They were perfectly matched opposites. Even when the sweetest gesture went horribly wrong (aka setting the kitchen on fire), it was a joy to read.
One of the bet parts was when William went away for a few days and asked Lilith to watch his cat…lets just say: THERE SHOULD NEVER BE ELECTRIC TOOLS NEAR YOUR VAGINA WHILE INEBRIATED. And no, in this case, a vibrator is NOT considered an electric tool. However, the scene was HILARIOUS. Seriously, this one of those crying tears of laughter moments.
I’m picky when it comes to nicknames in books but this one was done well. Lilith started off calling William variations of Willy Wonka; while he started off calling her Demon. Sundays are for Hangovers was so funny that I was reading passages to the Hubs and he was cracking up. K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield have once again given us a hilarious and heartfelt book.
Lilith is a women trying to be independent from her family, moving out on her own, she has managed to get a house and a job. She’s moved in next door to Will, who life was in order until Lil moved next door. The hilarity that these two go through finding their way to each other is outrageous, fresh and delightful.
These two authors continue to give us books worthy of all the stars.

This is yet another outstanding rom-com from this author pair. They had Lil who was outgoing and really funny. That’s the best way to describe her. I wish I could be like her. She had a confidence about her, even though she was a little bit under her parents dumb. Just like Will, she inspired me. I love that Will was Nerdy. You can’t help but picture him and swoon over what you see.
This is one of those books that is hard to review. I laughed so hard at some parts. I want to talk about those parts but it spoil the experience that readers have when it comes to those parts. They need to just be read to get the full impact.
These authors work so well together. The flow of the story, the glide from one POV to the next was flawless and the banter that was written made this book a total 5 Star in my book. I’m not sure if it there will more books part of this (there were a lot of secondary characters) but I would lobe more romcoms by them. Their to lovers series was just as great as this book was. #2OCCJD

I normally don’t write reviews because I suck at expressing what I thought of a book without constantly repeating my self. But with this book I’m just so torn it frustrates the hell out of me.
I liked the plot. The whole enemies to lovers and hot sex? A+
The hero? Not bad. Could be a bit of a dick but I can see past it.
Now the heroine... different ball game. Any grown ass woman calling her father daddy just grates at me. Now slight spoiler here.....
Which is what really made me choose to rate this book as I did.
The h is from a wealthy family. Ok.
The h wants to rebel. Have her own life. Thats more than ok too considering she’s in her late 20’s. Rather late than never right?
The h has figured out she’s ok with being cut off. So WHY THE HELL does the whole book consist of her arguing with her father about letting her live her own life? And her father controlling her. You’re a grown woman. If you don’t care than Just do it. It just got to the point of straight annoyance. Ugh ok. Sorry this “review” sucks. Not really my thing. But I just HAD to rant. o_O

***5 ‘We’re Everything’ Stars***
When it was announced that J.D. Hollyfield and K. Webster were putting their minds together to the bring the world an enemies to lovers romcom I made grabby hands and said ‘Gimme’ and was not disappointed. Sunday’s Are For Hangovers was such a fun, smexy read that had it’s OTT moments but also swoon worthy ones that kept me turning the pages to see just what Lilith and Will would do next.
I adored Will and all his above board OCD ways. Some I understood, others...well, even I had to agree that they were just a tinsy bit OTT, but behind the rigid facade is a man who not only takes charge, but does it with all his heart. Lilith is sassy, snarky and is so comfortable in her own skin it’s hard not to like the woman. She’s got some issues that she wrestles with, but she loves her life and wants to live it to the best of her ability.
Will and Lilith were just so much fun. Their antics, whether it was when they were trying to annoy the other, or when they finally couldn’t keep their hands off each other, were just fun to experience. I loved their interactions and the smexy times between them were HAWT! They may have started out as enemies and total opposites, but they fit perfectly as a couple. There were a few bumps in the road for them, but none of them kept them down for long.
This was such a fun read and everything I’ve come to love from the authors. The writing was engaging and seamless. The characters were unique, flawed but loveable in their own special way...though Bjork...and a balance of crazy and swoon worthy moments that make you want more. So, if you’re in the mood for a fun enemies to lovers/opposites attraction romance, then this is a must read!

I knew I was going to get a lot of laughter out of anything with both K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield listed as authors, but Sundays are for Hangovers was hilarious and also very sweet. Without going into any detail, because I think this is the sort of book you should read without any background, this book has everything you could want from the two authors. It's a tiny bit angsty, as smutty as it gets, and every romantic moment is laced with humor. It's Rom-Com at its finest and I don't know why a producer isn't already seeking out a way to turn this into a movie.
"She, my little next door neighbor from hell, tastes like heaven."
Lilith and Will aren't eachothers type in their own eyes, but the chemistry between them sets everything around them on fire, literally. They're simply meant to be and though it could be that simple, K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield turn their affair into a full length story. Lilith, or Lil, is a really entertaining character to read about. Her perspective is even better. She's sort of the girl that's least likely to do anything right, except it totally works for her. Will, on the other hand, seems too straight laced to even know what fun is, but he's got a bit of a past and a whole lot to offer that replaces his lack of humor. I really liked that we get to know them individually before we get to know them together, because as readers that intimate knowledge is fun to have, especially with the other characters don't have that same background. It turns into prank wars, flirty phone calls, and a lot of stolen, smutty moments. And when I say smutty, I mean smutty. Will can dirty talk...and he follows through with every word he says. Meanwhile, Lil turns into putty for him and in time grows into her own force of nature, learning how to take what she wants from the guy who gets what he wants from her.
Mind the mouth, I've always been attracted to him."
Yes, it is a hilarious book, one that I laughed through from start to finish, but it has a touch of serious. I do wish Lil and Will had been better at forming a relationship, but I also apprecaited that the lust was just that strong between them. They each let things slide that I probably wouldn't, but hey, it's a book and I like my books being different than reality sometimes.

Sure, the solution to them is always a bit naughty, but once you get to know Lil and Will you know it's perfectly suited for them! Over the top and roll on the floor funny, Sundays are for Hangovers is a fantastic release from writing duo and friends, K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield.

Generally they're neighbours, much like William & Lilith Hamilton. They are vicious fighters and sworn Neighbours. She's loud, colourful & mouthy. He's uptight, bowtie wearing, snooty kinda Nerd.
they're soooooo not each other's type. Completely opposites. ** Magnets** ..yes! He finds her annoying, but Tap-That-Ass annoying..**boner alert**!!
She blasts her rap music LOUD, he's Nirvana listening, crazy obsessive about neatness & structure in his lawn, his house, his life.
But nothing stops Lilith -Daughter-of-the-Devil-Hamilton’s dick sucking lips from barging and gatecrashing WillNotLightenTheFuckUp's life.

I don’t normally read stories that are declared funny. In the past I haven’t found books funny that others have. However I had faith in these authors and I certainly wasn’t disappointed.
Will and Lil are complete opposites of each other. They are neighbours at war.. or are they??
I absolutely loved the banter between these two and the chemistry was so hot.
If your looking for a well written romantic comedy then I highly recommend this story. I’m happy to say there are some fabulous laugh out loud moments in this story. I loved it from start to finish. Fantastic refreshing read.

Sundays are for Hangovers is a Romantic Comedy co-written by K Webster and Jessica Hollyfield. It is light and fun, romantic, sexy, and completely hilarious. I burst out laughing at times. It gave me excited, happy butterflies and a happy tear or two. There was a fair amount of angst at times but it was resolved within a reasonable time period.
Lilith and Will are neighbors who seem to hate each other but what happens when they realize that maybe they don't hate each other after all? An epic romantic comedy, that's what.
I highly recommend this book. These two authors really nailed it with Sundays are for Hangovers.

DNF about 25% the h really started to annoy me and the feud scenarios became over the top and tiring. I didn't even find anything funny yet. Rl Mathewson does a better job of humor in her neighbor from hell series especially the first few books.

I have been looking forward to this one for a while as I love enemies to lovers stories and what better way to be an enemy than a warring neighbor. Also what was cool about this one was it was like a gender reversal as the nerdy character was the guy in this book rather than the female which was nice to read for a change. This book also steps away from the dark fiction and edgier reads that we know K. Webster for. Will and Lil have been neighbors for almost a year and over the year they have played this back and forth game of neighbor wars as they both annoy the heck out of one another. It seems though that now this neighbor wars as gone to a next level and involved sexual chemistry and tension and we soon see this couple going from neighbor wars to romantic hookups and then of course back to neighbor wars. We also read about each of the character's lives and how they got to where they are today. For Will, it was the reformed bad boy turned a good guy and for Lil, it was the rich girl who is trying to make it out there on her own so that she doesn't have to bend to her parent's social rules. Sundays are for Hangovers was a fun read filled with witty banter and lots of laughs, romantic comedy, and sexual chemistry/tension. For a Sweet Sexy Fun read, check out K. We’ve all been there…living in a neighborhood. Pride of ownership shines with our house. Yet there is always that one house that…not so much pride shines on it. Even worse yet, the house is right smack dab next door to your house!!!
You’ve got the hard-working accountant…8-5 Monday through Friday. Drives the Hybrid car…Runs 2 times a day just to keep his figure. Weekends are for working in the yard to ensure the ‘yard of the month’ sign remains right where it should be.
Not to say he’s been like this his whole life…He’s had a troubled past.
Next door we have the beautiful, hot body, messy bun, morning co-host of the local radio station. She loves her job, parties with the discounted taco’s and drinks. Pretty much the gal everyone loves to hang with.
Not to say she’s been like this her whole life…She’s got a past too.

We’ve all been there…living in a neighborhood. Pride of ownership shines with our house. Yet there is always that one house that…not so much pride shines on it. Even worse yet, the house is right smack dab next door to your house!!!
You’ve got the hard-working accountant…8-5 Monday through Friday. Drives the Hybrid car…Runs 2 times a day just to keep his figure. Weekends are for working in the yard to ensure the ‘yard of the month’ sign remains right where it should be.
Not to say he’s been like this his whole life…He’s had a troubled past.
Next door we have the beautiful, hot body, messy bun, morning co-host of the local radio station. She loves her job, parties with the discounted taco’s and drinks. Pretty much the gal everyone loves to hang with.
Not to say she’s been like this her whole life…She’s got a past too.

Some enemies to lovers stories are actually closer to “enemy lite”, but these two are true (rom-com) enemies and it made their attraction even steamier, sexier & most of the time, LOL funny AF.
Between their personalities & ensuing banter, Lilith (aka Demon) & Will (aka Wonka) are (at times) OTT perfection, their relationship progression covering all the feels. Add in an antagonist I just wanted to whack upside the head and a meaty epilogue that’s solid gold, this book delivered again & again.
*IMO, if you’re a fan of RL Mathewson’s “Neighbor from Hell” series, go ahead & click Sunday’s are for Hangovers, you’re in good hands.*
