Well, at no point did I think I would be reading a book written by William Roache. But here I am, having finished it.

I didn’t realise he was such a spiritual person. I suppose it makes sense because you don’t get to his age and enjoy such good health unless you have something keeping you centred. Well, that’s my view.

It was very interesting and a nice mix of fact and opinion. He does lecture a bit at times. It was mostly very entertaining though and I found it held my attention well. It’s always good to listen to older people and hear what they have to say about how they’ve lived their lives and what they’ve learned.

Great

I loved the first book by William Roache, Soul on the Street, I have read it about four times. This one is less of an autobiography but more advise, although he does discuss the Street especially his great friendship with Anne (Deidre) Mr. Roache has very strong beliefs in the afterlife and that love is all that is important, he makes great sense. He has suffered very much in his own life, and now, recently losing his daughter Vanya. I recently read another book called Beyond Sight by Marion Rome, where the author describes her near death experience, what she says is everything that William Roche believes. I'm sure his faith will help him through his latest tragedy. I wish him all the very best.

Positive and inspiring.

Some authors work hard at telling us how to live a calm, healthy and inspiring life, but are either long-winded or confusing.

But not this book by William Roache.

I found is so easy to read and absorb. His stories were entertaining, and his honesty, calmness and sharing of the way he lived his life, was inspiring. He seems a man who is totally at peace with who he is. I have applied some of his habits to my own life, including his eating hints and his recipe for a morning shake for breakfast.

Great book.

Inspirational and life affirming. William gives us an open and honest insight into his beliefs which make a lot of sense and gives lots to think about. If we followed this advice the world would be a better place. I found this book enjoyable and potentially life changing.

I am a "Corrie" fan and this book is Williams advice on how to live a healthy life into old age. He gives a lot of useful advice and talks about his own life giving a nod now and again to Coronation Street. A good read .
