"De eerste twee boeken over speciaal agent Will Trent in één e-bundel.

Will Trent!!! I LOVE THIS GUY!!! My heart goes out to him, I want to hug him, comfort him, heck I want to adopt him!!! Oh yeah, and the books were very good as well. I'm hooked on Will and this series!!
TripTych
When a homicide detective is called to the scene of a brutal murder, he reflects on his own life. A newly released convicted sex offender and murderer struggles to assimilate. A vice cop is haunted by her past. All three perspectives are put together by Will Trent revealing an entirely different point of view on a serial killer who is about to strike once again.
The narrative is divided into three main parts: Part I is narrated by Detective Michael Ormewood. Part II by John Shelley and Part III is split between Will Trent and Angie Polaski. It’s not until 40% in that the reader is introduced to Will's POV. I was expecting Will to have a bigger voice, but he stays quietly in the background until it’s time to strike.
Triptych is a gruesome and dark thriller that I could not put down. Some scenes are extremely difficult to read due to their disturbing nature. The author does not hold back when it comes to sharing sick and twisted details. This book is not for the faint of heart.
Each part concludes with a huge reveal that had me taken by surprise. The first major twist I didn’t see coming and had me shaking my head (in a good way) at how skillfully Slaughter pulls this off.
Fractured
The second installment of the series introduces Will Trent’s new partner, Faith Martin. Faith is a smart and dynamic character. I loved how she and Will played off each other, and I am looking forward to seeing how their working relationship and tentative friendship progress.
Will Trent is intriguing, highly intelligent, soft spoken and a tad vulnerable. He’s fair haired, trim and wears suits to work as a member of Atlanta’s Georgia Bureau of Investigations. In case it’s not obvious, he basically sticks out like a sore thumb.
Now he is called in to investigate a crime that happens in an upscale community where a teenage girl was murdered and her assailant was murdered by the teenager’s mother when she happened upon the crime. It seems cut and dry yet Will Trent sees the crime through different eyes than everyone else, including the police on the scene.
Will had a personal connection to the case in more ways than one, making him especially vulnerable. I enjoyed seeing this side of him.
Overall, this dark and gruesome mystery is another great addition to the series.
Even though I read these books in English, I wanted to share my thoughts. As I said above, these books are not for the faint of heart.
