Poetry. The first book of poems by DeVore, his work is characterized by his deftly humorous but also elegant observations about memory and the world. Trane DeVore's poetry of one's situations is purely beautiful, a lasting relief to such as it incisively indites. There haven't been many 'first books' as fine & accomplished & meanwhile as promising. --David Bromige The accomplishment in SERIES/MNEMONIC is doing something plain with cool, careful observation.
