Bought this at Wild Birds Unlimited while buying my seed. It was a beautiful book. I love bird watching and I’m amazed at the abilities I learned birds have in this book. Each bird has exactly the skills it needs to survive. Each is different yet all have the talents that individual bird needs. I know there’s a lesson in there for me. As a woman of faith, I view birds as a gift from God. Each one is a delight, bringing me joy and a little prayer of gratitude. I enjoyed learning new facts about these extraordinary creatures that so bless my days. I also love listening to Bird Note on my way to work each morning on PBS. It calms me.

If you're interested in birds at all, you will love this wonderful book of exquisite drawings and descriptions of bird behavior. This is taken from a public radio broadcast. It's just a one-page description of each bird's behavior accompanied by a corresponding painting. I got it from the library but then ordered three copies from Thriftbooks. It's no longer printed in hard copy and that's what I wanted - one for me and two for presents.

The pictures in the book were beautiful and the stories were very interesting. If you love birds, you should read this book.
