Rate this book
In this final chapter of the Darkness Rising saga, the Fraser family's tenacity is put to the test as they collide head-on with the forces that have plotted to destroy the country. Their actions will determine whether or not the barely-functioning republic can recover from the attacks or whether it will collapse in upon itself.

As you learn more about the Fraser family and a few brave government agents who are attempting to unwravel the horror and mystery behind the attacks, you'll soon discover that not everything in the apocalypse is as it appears to be.

Turning Point - a review by Rosemary Kenny

The final chapter, (Book 6 in the Darkness Rising Series) by Masters of Fantasy Sci-fi, Justin Bell and Mike Kraus, tells of the conclusion of the Fraser family's post-apocalyptic struggle to reunite with their 'long-lost' elder daughter Lydia and her grandparents, following many, many trials and tribulations.
Anarchy, murder, plot and counter plot, rampaging rioters and looters, vicious vigilantes and general mayhem have kept the family apart for many moons. Treachery by traitorous US citizens in tandem with foreign terrorists, has led to a coup against the Government, with the subsequent loss of democracy and justice and consequent breakdown of US society.
Those devotees (like myself) who have followed the previous episodes, will have thrilled to the developing characters and storyline and a galvanising conclusion.

This final book was a very good ending to this good series. Still a bit hard to believe that an insurgent group in the US and a group of foreign operatives could so easily nearly destroy this country-well, maybe now it is a bit more believable than a few years ago. This has been an exciting series with a lot of ups and down and has been worthwhile to read.

Turning Point is the sixth and final book in the Darkness Rising series. This should not be read as a standalone as each book builds on the story of the previous books. There is violence. This was a fitting end to the series. This series shows how things could be if people don't like the government and are willing to compromise, and sacrifice, anyone who gets in their way - and what other people will do to stop them.

Action Thriller

We would all have to be a part of an apocalyptic world but with a mom who made Rambo look weak and a posse of kids who had to grow up quickly, we would definitely be on the right side of things. I couldn't put this whole story down. Seven books later I am pleasingly exhausted and enamored of the characters. Thank you!

All Tied Up

The final sage of this series was extremely satisfying. This was a very good ending to the apocalyptic series of events and ended with almost all loose ends tied up. Thank you Justin and Mike for you skill and hard work!

Non stop action

Wonderful chapter development in a frantic post apocalyptic world. Family sticking together and enveloping others into their unit. A great race to keep a family together.

What an adventure!

I highly recommend this series! It starts out with a bang and just keeps going. So glad I found these authors. Now, on to the next. Looks like I will be losing more sleep.

Wonderful plot for the series finale. Non-stop action and kids having to grow up just like that. Did they save the world and who survives? I love, love, loved this book!

Great conclusion to the Fraser's story. Twists and turns all the way to the end. The writing had me feeling like I was in the middle of the action.

I can't wait to read more from Justin and Mike.

Awesome

This series is one of the best that I have read in this genre. If you have yet to read it, make sure that you start at the beginning.

Good book

Loved the story, lots of action. The four stars was for, I simply did not like Rhonda. Whiney, too bossey.
