I read this book in about an hour

I was taken back to my own childhood with the button tin and cigar box sewing thread organization. My mother tried so hard, but she was a school teacher with 5 children in a 3 bedroom 1 bath home. Such a loving memoir of a dearly loved and admired mother. I think my own daughter's memoirs would be a fly by the seat of your pants story.
