Enlisting the help of local herpetologist Alex Scott, the pair set out to solve the bloody mystery before its too late. They'll soon discover however that they have bitten off more than they can chew. It'll take the help of someone more experienced than themselves- someone with a history of confronting monsters- to solve this mystery.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The heroine in this is the same woman as in the first book, and I felt almost like I "lived" this through her. Give it and the first book a try. You won't regret it!!
This wss an astounding story. Full of drama, suspense, a little romance, humor and unbelievable terror. This story is the type nightmares come from. I will undoubtedly have a few of those. This book was so worth reading. The continuity was great. The drama never let up, right to the last sentence. I do know that we need to keep a eye on what is going on in nature around us. We are discovering new species, as well as species we thought were extinct, in places we have never really explored before. We are just beginning to explore the ocean, especially the Marianas Trench and other deep places in the ocean. This is thanks to the new technology that we have now. Books like this are inspired by all this, plus the vivid imagination of authors who write them. An excellent book, written by an author who has done his homework. I look forward to reading many more of his books.
Another delightful and gory sea adventure. I love these creatures that wreak havoc and then a smart and brave person comes to solve the problem. Easy to get into and fun to read.
