One thing, just one little thing Julie had to do to have a great start at her new high school.
Don't Draw Attention.
She thought she could handle it, how hard could it be right?
She was reading in her room when she just decided to take one, little, harmless peek outside of her new bedroom window.
BAM!!
Half naked, greek god bad boy right before her very own eyes!!
So what do you do in this situation?
Simple, you squat down in the middle of your bedroom floor because somehow that was a smart idea rather than walking away, and start doing ninja rolls to the window curtains going completely unnoticed.
And when she banged her head against the wall after doing a total of six slightly slanted ninja rolls because she realized she is not coordinated at all, guess who saw the whole entire thing?
Ashton Rider in all of his naked glory.
Say goodbye to an unnoticed school year, and hello to the bad boy's world.
I love this book . It was a cliche , Yes . But I loved it . the relationship between them was really cute . My most favourite character is Zander . I could literally see myself in him . Except the Gay part . But yea , Great Work .
Never in my life have I read a book that I actually laughed at not the "huh" I mean you know that dorky laugh that's like"HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA" yea that one But it was romantic, it was sad and weird...which by the way I love, well I'm weird soooo☺️ Me and Julie have sooo much in common, and if you read it you might think too.
The author is quite young and she said herself the story isn‘t reworked, so I can oveersee the spelling mistakes and some minor logic problems. But sometimes I got annoyed from them a little bit too much and the story wasn‘t that outstanding, that‘s were I took the two stars away. Also I sometimes couln’t understand why some characters acted the way they did. The writing style was quite funny and the story seemed „real“ up to a point, that‘s what I liked about it :)
I struggled a lot with the poor/excessive grammar, as well as the childish/petty behaviors that the characters would display at times, but I appreciate this book nonetheless!
I also wish there could’ve been some more metaphors and descriptive language, but overall; the book definitely isn’t bad! I loved the different friendships, characteristics and overall character development.
The author’s sense of humor was great and original (which is why I went back to to the book in the first place), but I’m still low-key hoping for some editing in the future so I’ll feel motivated to read it once more! :)
(3.5/5 Stars) I lovedd it! It was honestly a relatively short book and it didn’t have much depth but was still a fun read!! Ashton and Julie turned out so cute together and I love the humor this book has!! I loved this book and I am happy that I read it💙 I rated it 3.5/5 stars since it wasn’t original but still rlly good, cute and funny.
This book was beyond my favorite ever. It was very cliche, but also hilarious on so many level. To add to that it was very relatable and the relationship was cute.
His Nerd Next Door, yes, IS a Wattpad book. But it lives in the small, glorious, holy corner of Wattpad where all the books are cute romances with no smut, a PLOT, and GOOD WRITING.
The characters are all surprisingly developed, and the main character is VERY relatable for a lot of people. Julie is the classic, lazy, lovable nerd. Ashton is the fierce, somewhat rude, cocky boxer. I think you can see where it's going to go...
The plot is--and I'm not joking you--INTERESTING and ENGAGING. His Nerd Next Door is the kind of book you won't want to put down. It is a bit cliche in some ways, but it becomes less and less of that as you get further into the book.
And the WRITING! It's *gasp* actually good! The author of the tbbb (the bad boy boxer) series is quite talented! THIS BOOK IS POPULAR FOR A REASON!!
Trust me when I say that His Nerd Next Door WON'T disappoint you.
Let's start with the characters like I'm sorry I am in loooooveeee with them they all have their little details and differences and are all totally amazing I admire them all. When it comes to the plot there are a few questions by the end like what's with tessa? Is she out if the picture? What? Other than that it was full of love and joy and soooo much fun, the jokes and teasing going back and forth had my cracking up sooooo hard and rolling on the floor. I loved this book sooooo much and I can't wait to read more.
His Nerd Next Door is unputdownable. So addictive and worth your while. U may have picked up on the fact that this is just another ‘cliche’ love story, but at the end of the day, every love story is cliche. Every love story is taken and used. The world has run out of new stories to share amongst the world. It feels so natural to read. It’s not a type of clingy love, but a friendship that turns into more. Yes this is like every other story but it’s realistic. A lot of couples start off as friends.
OH MY GOD I LOVED THIS BOOK. I know it really wasn’t that good but omg it was such a fun read. It was short and sweet and I loved the character dynamics. The friend group being like a found family type beat and omg did I love the friend group. Zander was literally amazing and omg did I want to be Julie the whole book.
Such a funny, great Wattpad book. Just had to read it and was having trouble finding something I liked but after the first chapter I was definitely hooked. Or more like after chapter three (if you know, you know)! Loved it!
oh my GOSH!!! What i would do to be 15 again and be in love with love and in love with the idea of a hot bad boy cutie living next door to me that was a total ass but was totally in love with me. Oh how life changes you to become a more realistic person. sigh.
Cliche and I read it when I was in middle school. But I just remember the main girl just being a breath of fresh air compared to other wattpad main girls.
One of my first wattpad books. My first english bad boy-good girl book. Will forever be in my heart. Yes, had a few cringe scenes but a funny book. No smut. Sweet. Loved the whole series.
