While this book had information, I wouldn’t say it has been one of my favorite books about pre-diabetes so far, in fact, some parts were down right like reading a textbook, which I feel for, for the most part, would be a big turn off for people. Prediabetes is scary and things need to be explained in an easy to digest way. I like Jill Weisenberger’s book much better.

I found this book to be pretty helpful. Another reviewer wrote that some of it read like a textbook, and while I found this to be true of the first section, which explained in detail what prediabetes is, the rest of the book reads in a kind, empathetic, and conversational voice.

Every single page being a new habit to incorporate just made it all overwhelming and difficult to process.

This book is a really good BASIC review. I don’t think I learned anything new, but nevertheless the information was presented well.
