Invisible Strings
Dr. Annie Lane is struggling to sleep. With sleepless nights plaguing her, she finds herself emotionally strung-out.
When Annie finally manages to sleep, she begins experiencing disturbing dreams. The images are vague but one thing is clear; someone is in danger and she knows it is down to her alone to help.
After many frustrating nights of blurred confusion; Annie finally has a clear vision. Unable to see the person involved, she can see the location.
With a destination clear in her mind, Annie makes her way to ‘The Cove Café,’ which is set in the idyllic beachside location of Avon Cove. There she sits, while invisible strings pull her towards a fate unknown; to a person unknown to her.
On that fateful day; Annie meets Eve. Eve frequents her family-run cafe and immediately intrigues Annie as a person of interest. Not only does she find her attractive but she also feels like she knows her. She wonders if that is because of her dreams. As the two women spend more and more time together, they grow closer. The dreams also become more intense…and even more worrying. Just as Annie is realising she has fallen in love; she dreams the event in finite detail. Eve is in terrible, immediate danger. Intriguing
This was great and Now I'm Not so patiently waiting for the next part.
The story is a mix of suspense with a paranormal twist, as I say very intriguing I found myself wanting to know more and more about the characters and their background.
We learn that Annie a Doctor with a Gift that she is trying to accept and Eve the woman she is been dreaming lately. The romance apparently will evolve in the next installment.
Very good story so far it shows a lot of potential and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.
I can definitely recommend this to anyone who likes crime stories, paranormal and suspense stories.

Invisible Strings starts a new series of books by AJ Estelliam.
Dr. Annie Lane is endowed with psychic abilities which haunt her dreams and impact her professionalism. She makes a psychic connection through touch and it interferes when she provides patient care. Her medical practice is in freefall and her sleep patterns are disturbed. She follows her dreams to Cove Cafe in Avon Cove and the family that owns it. Once there, she realizes that Eve Grace is in mortal danger. She has no choice, but to protect her.
Invisible Strings is a fast paced novella. The story unfolds as equal parts supernatural mystery and lesbian romance. Annie Lane narrates the events as a troubled, but heroic character. Her skills as a physician and psychic are indispensable to the other characters, but her inner turmoil holds her back from them. Eve Grace is an unwilling damsel in distress, but their mutual attraction is immediate and unavoidable. Invisible Strings leaves the story with a cliffhanger ending. The next book in the series is called Ties that Bind.

Great start with romance between the two leads. Loved the cliffhanger ending. Only reason I'm not making it higher rating is that, while I liked the cliffhanger ending and moments of romance, the ending itself felt kind of rushed. Specifically the last three pages. I looked the sequel "Ties that Bind" up on Kindle, but it doesn't seem to be available for some reason. I don't know why because now I want to see how she uses her gift to find Eve.

I honestly can't tell you, whether the plot itself is any good, because I didn't manage to get past the second chapter. Something about the writing style (and I can't pinpoint what exactly) grated on my nerves so much, I wasn't willing to continue reading

At the end it said that Ties That Bind is the second book. I really hope it comes out soon. I need to know what happens.

great
So got into this story straight away. Once you start reading you cannot put it down. Great characters and compelling story. Could not find the sequel.Tide that Binds.

I enjoy this book is there going up be follow up though because I see new books none of them is follow up from this story and is you going to do crossovers with any character who became psychic
