Inspirational!

Whilst I can’t see me sticking to this 100% any time soon, I have read through it all in depth and can see that when I’m in the right frame of mind to do it this will be a huge help.
The recipe section is fantastic and I’ll definitely be using that, and the exercises are laid out in a very clever way to ensure it’s understandable (photos are a great help!) and therefore achievable.
I’ll be using the recipes ASAP and hopefully then start the exercise plan.
I like how no-nonsense Gemma is too, and knows how to get her message across.

I haven't started the plan yet, but have read the book and planned my meals and every thing that I need to do to get started. It's a brilliant, comprehensive book which isn't intimidating like some fitness books I have tried. Gemma has your back!

It would be easy to take one look and think this is another celebrity workout book but I feel like a lot of thought has gone into Gemma's book. It's clearly laid out, with a clear workout plan, a bit about Gemma and her relationship to her body and fitness and some really delicious and beautifully photographed recipes. There's no faddy diet advice, just a simple exercise plan and nutritious recipes. As someone who is a Type 1 diabetic, I try to stick to a very balanced diet and the recipes really suit my needs and have given me some great snack and recipe ideas. I am keen to get more into strength training and this is covered in the book. I bought this on a 99p Kindle deal but then went and bought the physical book as I felt the recipes and exercises would be easier to follow this way. I highly recommend this book if you want to feel fitter and get some new healthy recipe ideas.

Absolutely brilliant, easy recipes.

Although I suffer from arthritis in my knees, and cannot do high impact exercises, or any involving kneeling down, I found the exercises amazing and easily adaptable and include some of not all in my daily Pilates exercise. My son gets married next year, and I am determined to get into the size 14 dress - you have inspired me and made me believe I can.

Loved the intro to this book, and the motivation to kick start you. Everything she wrote I totally agreed with, it wasn’t this “no carb, full cardio” book. The research was on point.
3 stars though because the workouts seemed a little dry, and I’d never see myself partaking in them. Same goes to the funky recipes, being vegetarian doesn’t help I guess hehe. Thanks Gemma <3

Great book. Nice intro, getting to know the author. A few 'yep, that's me' moments. Recipes are good, easy to make and have tried quite a number of them. Slowly getting back into training after injury so not done so much of the training/exercise part yet, but looking fwd to starting.

I found this accessible and fun. Gemma Atkinson, writes like she speaks and her voice and character comes through clearly. I was quite inspired to make a change after reading this book and the recipes I've tried have worked well so far.

Meh

Recipes are lacklustre at best. Workout is ok but some parts require gym equipment. The personal stories are a nice touch.

I use this for the recipe of Overnight Oats but otherwise I’m not impressed by the recipes or workouts and I’m finally admitting that I’m not going to follow the plan.
I think Gemma Atkinson is amazing and I enjoyed reading her story. I do think this book is little more than a vehicle for the Ultimate Body chain of gyms so that you’ll turn to them and give them lots of loolah when your attempt to go it alone inevitably falters.
I am making this as "read" because I have now completed Heather Robertson's FREE! 12-week plan and I thoroughly recommend it instead of the exercise plan in this book.
