It was really nice to see Gabby, Riley, and Sierra again. They were the first characters I was introduced to in Barritt's writing, so it was nice to catch up again. While the story is a mystery first and foremost, I do enjoy how Barritt dives in Gabby and Riley's early year of marriage with the purchase of their first home and bringing Sierra back into the story with her ten-month-old son Reef. The mystery does move pretty quickly, and Gabby does focus on that with the help of her Cold Case Squad. I stayed up pretty late finishing the novel, and I couldn't wait to see how Barritt would have Gabby solve the mystery. I enjoyed the ending but was horrified about the reality of the situation Barritt brought to life. This world is sickening today! I enjoyed Clean Sweep and want more of Gabby, Riley, and Sierra. Fans of Barritt's other writings, I believe, would enjoy this novel. I know I did.
