No one has seen or heard from the woman in four months, and every lead has dried up. Gabby and her team begin to unravel clues about Brooke's life . . . and not all is as it seems. With each new layer that's revealed, they realize the case may be bigger than they ever imagined. Did Brooke walk away from her life . . . or did she become ensnared in something deadly? Gabby fears this investigation won't be the clean sweep she hoped for. No, the dirt she's turning up might be more of a toxic stain. Christy Barritt is an author, freelance writer and speaker who lives in Virginia. She’s married to her Prince Charming, a man who thinks she’s hilarious—but only when she’s not trying to be. Christy’s a self-proclaimed klutz, an avid music lover who’s known for spontaneously bursting into song, and a road trip aficionado. She’s only won one contest in her life—and her prize was kissing a pig (okay, okay… actually she did win the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Suspense and Mystery also). Her current claim to fame is showing off her mother, who looks just like former First Lady Barbara Bush
When she’s not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar, and exploring small, unsuspecting towns where people have no idea how accident prone she is.

CLEAN SWEEP is the fourteenth book in Ms. Barritt's Squeaky Clean Mysteries series. It does stand alone, but fans will want to read all the books to get to know how Riley and Gabby met, her quirky friends (which have their own series) and more.

I have read every book in the series from the beginning and I love Gabby. She is so sweet and quirky. As usual, she manages to get herself neck deep into the investigation before she realizes she's even on the right trail.

I absolutely love Ms. Barritt's writing and am so glad she's a prolific writer because I am never out of reading material. Even right now she has two new books out I haven't read yet.
And I can't wait.

I did figure out who might be behind the crimes about midway, but not the whole truth or how or anything. This was an edge of your seat mystery that I couldn't put down.

Don't miss CLEAN SWEEP.

I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.

The other books in Ms. Barritt's Squeaky Clean Mystery series are:

Hazardous Duty
Suspicious Minds
It Came upon a Midnight Crime
Organized Grime
Dirty Deeds
The Scum of all Fears
To Love, Honor and Perish
Murky Streak
Foul Play
Broom and Gloom
Dust and Obey
Thrill Squeaker
Swept Away
Cunning Attractions
Clean Getaway

As always, Christy Barritt does not disappoint. Another 5 star review 😍. I've not read this entire series consecutively, like I probably should've, however, this will be a series that I fall back on as rereads, this is that good. I have the rest of a couple of her other series to finish, which again, I'll be rereading. I'm looking forward to the last book in this series.

**NOTE: This title is actually Clean Sweep** (See on Amazon and www.christybarritt.com)

This Cold Case edition of the Squeaky Clean Mysteries features Gabby and favorite characters along with the new crew. Gabby agrees to help Riley's new friend after the disappearance of his wife. Nothing is as it appears on the surface which creates many obstacles for the cold case team. That's never stopped Gabby and only serves to motivate her to the truth and solve the mystery. With her knowledgeable yet quirky and gruff crew, she treks through the illusions toward a satisfying conclusion.

Christy Barritt, well-versed in inspirational suspense, delights fans while weaving another intricate tale of deception that pushes Gabby to unravel the mess as well as tie loose ends. You'll thoroughly enjoy this latest installment.

I received a copy of the book without obligation. This review is my opinion.

It was really nice to see Gabby, Riley, and Sierra again. They were the first characters I was introduced to in Barritt's writing, so it was nice to catch up again. While the story is a mystery first and foremost, I do enjoy how Barritt dives in Gabby and Riley's early year of marriage with the purchase of their first home and bringing Sierra back into the story with her ten-month-old son Reef. The mystery does move pretty quickly, and Gabby does focus on that with the help of her Cold Case Squad. I stayed up pretty late finishing the novel, and I couldn't wait to see how Barritt would have Gabby solve the mystery. I enjoyed the ending but was horrified about the reality of the situation Barritt brought to life. This world is sickening today! I enjoyed Clean Sweep and want more of Gabby, Riley, and Sierra. Fans of Barritt's other writings, I believe, would enjoy this novel. I know I did.

Clean Sweep is Book 14 in the Squeaky Clean Mysteries and book 2 in the Cold Case Squad. In this book Gabby team up again with persnickety Evie and nerdy Sherman to solve a case of a woman who has gone missing. Evidence points to the husband. Evie thinks it is the husband. Isn't it always the husband? Gabby doesn't accept that conclusion and digs deeper but as always when Gabby sticks her nose into something she puts her life in danger. This book is no exception. It got real suspenseful toward the end. There was more than one person involved in the missing woman and it was a surprise to who it is. When Gabby's life was in danger someone unlikely saved her life. You won't regret reading this one. Of the two Cold Case Squad mysteries so far released this one has got to be the best. We see more of Riley and her core friends in this book. I am looking forward to reading book 3 which is supposed to be released sometime in 2019.

Clean Sweep is the 14th in the Squeaky Clean Mysteries and the second book in the Cold Case Squad.
I loved this one and I read it in one sitting because I got sucked in the story and just had to know what happens. What I love about a Christy Barritt novel is her nail-biting suspense, quirky characters, and plenty of witty dialogue with lots of pop culture references.

Gabby along with her new cold case squad are hired to find a missing woman. Her husband is looking for answers. The catch is he has been the only suspect the police have ever had. Gabby and crew quickly figure out that this case is much bigger than they had originally thought. Every piece of evidence they find leaves them and the reader with more questions.

Can't wait for the next mystery for Gabby and crew to solve.

I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

As mentioned by others, this is "Clean Sweep" on Amazon. Here is my review:

This time Gabby and her friends become involved in a case which isn't exactly a "cold case" but has the police stumped. A wife is missing and as Gabby begins to ask questions, she discovers that things aren't always what they seem. This case is not only relevant to today's society, it also opens up some insight into Gabby and Riley's life as well. There is also a new "addition" to their lives - but you have to read the book to find out who/what it is!! And an additional warning - once you start reading, you can't stop until you reach the rollercoaster conclusion!!

Once again Grabby Rocks

Gabby is still my all time favorite character by Christy Barritt!

And once again Barritt gives readers a strong characters with an interesting story. Through most of the story I was trying to figure out the good guys from the bad guys. I think Barritt has a fun and exciting twist coming in the next (and sadly final) story.

One of the things I have enjoyed about this series is watching Gabby "growing up." From the skeptical, searching crime scene cleaner to respected private investigator that turns to God in prayer. Barritt does a great job of displaying Gabby like many of us, struggling and always learning.

If you've read any of the books in the series you'll enjoy this one. If you are new to the series, I do recommend reading at least the first couple to understand where Gabby comes from, but you'd really enjoy the entire series!

As with all of the Gabby books, author Christy Barritt will keep you guessing though out the newest installment of the Squeaky Clean Series (Cold Case Squad). I have enjoyed watching Gabby grow and mature in her spiritual, physical, and professional life. It's always fun to catch up with all of Gabby's friends and especially Riley. This case involves a missing person, but all is not as it seems. As always, Gabby faces lots of twists and turns and more than her share of danger! Barritt does not disappoint!

CLEAN SWEEP
A wife has disappeared and being a friend of Gabby’s husband, turns to her for help. Interesting of how they say their lives were clean no mystery involved, and secrets they though hidden came out. A friend after her own greed got into Brooks confidence, and her files at work. One wonders how will it ever get straighten out. Good plot and how they investigated.

Wow!

Another great adventure for our Cold Case gang. Trying to find someone who has been missing for four months will lead our group to some devious people. The twists and turns of this case keep them hopping in different directions. I'm glad there wasn't a death that lead them to the answers. It looks like we have another chapter coming up soon. Can't wait!

Sir Watson?

This book certainly took a lot of liberties and I am im love with the amazing Sir Watson, but it wasn't anywhere near as intriguing or interesting as all her previous books. And I must say, the ending just didn't feel believable for me. But this won't stop me from reading the next in the series!

Review of this book.

Another thrilling story. This one had a lot of twists and turns. There were several things going on at the same time. Alk of them were pointing in different directions. One of the most complicated books thus far. The author has definitely made great strides in her writing. A series well worth reading.

Good mystery about a present-day sadness of childless couples and slavery of foreign women. Gabby and her team are excellent at their jobs. It's also very good to have faithfilled stories with reliance on maturing characters.
