I had the biggest teenage crush on my brother's friend. Now I wear his ring on my finger. Sounds perfect, right? Literally a dream come true. Except this engagement isn't real. I used to tag along when my brother watched football, just so I could spend the entire game watching Brock instead. I wrote his name over and over again in my diary. I daydreamed about him in class. And now, I'm finally not just his friend's little sister. I'm also his personal assistant and his fiancée--his fake fiancée, that is. I mean, come on. Brock runs a billion-dollar company. He's also heart-stoppingly, panty-meltingly gorgeous. Why would someone like him actually want to be with someone as ordinary as me? Besides, my brother has warned me about Brock--repeatedly. He's a heartbreaker. As much as I want to get between the sheets with him, I refuse to be just another notch on his bedpost. He needs a date for a wedding. And I need help getting rid of my stalker ex. That's all. This engagement is merely a practical, win-win solution to our problems. It's as utilitarian as any one of those business deals Brock makes in his office every day. Except there's nothing business-like about the wicked glint in his gaze, or the hunger in his voice, or the way his hand lingers on my body whenever we touch . . . If I let Brock get any closer, I'm afraid he'll break my heart. But I can't help it; I can't quench the fire inside me that burns for him. I know the risks. And I still want this fake, accidental engagement to be real--as real as the diamond ring I'm wearing.

Another great story Nikki, This Brock and Nina story captivated me from the beginning to end. So Nina had crush on Brock, He new Nina as his BF little sister didn't notice her on till she went for interview at his company. They both had an instant-attraction to each other plus there chemistry was off the charts. Want more well you just have to ONE-CLICK NOW: A must read, I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy.
Nina & Brock are perfection. There chemistry is off the charts and their sex is smokin hot. Nina & Brock weren’t suppose to be together since Brock is Nina’s brothers best friend but one little lie, turned into so much more. With crazy exes and a love that can’t be denied, you will definitely be rooting for Nina & Brock.

Beautiful love story! Brock and Nina have known each other for years! Nina was the gangly teen following her older brother and his best friend around but time has changed all that! Nina is now all woman And Brock is trying his hardest to keep their relationship professional!
Nina is such a strong female character! She stands up for herself and though she’s made mistakes she does her best to keep her dreams in sight! Brock is a man whose always been serious but Nina sparks something deep inside him that allows him to let loose and enjoy life!
Grrrr! So frustrated with weak sauce Nina. Really your ex Pete is stalking you, call the police! File a freaking report. He was hurting you!!! And following you and did I mention hurting you!!
Sorry spoilers. Your scary, abusive, stalker ex, says “I’ve got to show you something” and you go!???? THAT IS HOW BITCHES DIE!
So he shows you Brock, your boyfriend, the love of your life kissed by his ex. AND YOU BELIEVE HIM?
You are fucking stupid and annoying. Your his personal assistant, you’ve been fucking him for weeks, been with him 24/7 and you think he was mysteriously cheating on you?!?!
You dumb bitch.
Oh and let’s not even go there with the Brother. What fucking type of best friend are you to treat Brock that way?! Without even pausing for an explanation, yeah you are really BFFs, not. Even if the chick is your sister, if he was any kind of friend, you would punch him first then give him a chance to explain.
Sorry author, this was lazy writing. I love a “fake fiancée”, but this was wack. Unbelievable. Also asshole Brock saw her ex twice making a scene and physically abusing her, he should have took her to the police immediately. This guys was a threat.
Ladies, seriously if Pete was real life, do not walk, run to police.
Lazy and dangerous writing.

I enjoyed this story about Nina and Brock so much. It was different and lighter than what this author usually writes. It was sweet and romantic even with the mistaken intentions, mishaps and misconceptions and the way the main characters tripped over themselves to try to figure out what was really going on between them. And it has the perfect HEA.
We get watch this unlikely couple find each other and the love they really need from the first time we see them literally run into each other on the street. It's light-hearted and easy to read, and it's just a feel-good romance, something that we need to remind us that there are moments when we simply want to watch two unlikely people fall in love.
The story had some excellent potential, however the author had some serious struggles with a couple things that made it impossible for me to really immerse myself. First: The Pacing; the pacing made it feel like I was being told a story, it felt more like reading a script than a story. Second: Lack of Sensual detail; sensual detail is the inclusion of all five senses in written detail, I want to feel the warmth of a blush, I want to feel the tightness in my chest when a heart races, I want to be overwhelmed. Ms. Chase couldn't do that.
Brock said he uses Tinder for hookups as much as the next guy. As much as what next guy? The next gross guy? The next jerk? That's disgusting. I want a book with good characters. They don't have to be virgins, but they need to not be slutty. Where's the romance in that? Why would I want the female main character with this guy who uses Tinder for hookups? I'm not a prude, but sluttiness like that is inexcusable and nasty.
Exciting childhood crush, has gone full circle as Nina has become an adult. Now coming to interview for a position for that childhood crush: her brothers best friend, Brock. Now she realizes what an amazingly handsome, hardworking, sexy, charming, Ossetia/ CEO Brock has become. Read on and see if they can become friends again, or?????? Loved this story😊❤️
I really enjoyed Brock and Nina's story. The progression of their relationship felt natural. I couldn't understand why his ex girlfriend kept trying to keep tabs on him. I'm glad they were able to get past both of their exes and have a great relationship. Also, enjoyed the other books in the book.
...but for that little bit of 'mystery and intrigue' romance writers always seem to think we need. Otherwise, great H, sweet, funny h, well thought out story line, great hea. If we could somehow convince romance writers, that 'romance' is enough, and they can just skip the mystery and intrigue!
A best friend’s sister story that will give you the feel good that you can look forward to in a romance from start to finish. A great storyline and likable characters made for an enjoyable read. If you enjoy this genre than this is a must read for you.
I’ve found something—someone—more meaningful than my work.
Nina needs a job and her brother sends her to one of his oldest friends, who just happens to be her old crush. Throw in some ex’s and a little drama. Loved it! Super read! Enjoy!!!
I love the fact that all of your books linked together. I can't wait until the next installment. Intense characters and an excellent plot line. Plenty of twists and turns enjoyable all the way to the end.
I loved this story. Nina has always had a crush on her brother's best friend, Brock. Now that she's a little older, she's working for him and the feelings haven't lessened. With two crazy exes running wild, will Nina and Brock ever get their HEA?
It was alright. For some reason it was difficult to get into the characters. The sex scenes were steamy and very well done but it didn't feel like much conflict. The tension was brief and short lived it left the story feeling a little ...flat.
This book is a complition of 3 stories. I finished like 60% of the 1st book. I dont know, the writing style and the story just didn't click with me. I was skipping a lot of pages just to read what next instead of enjoying it like i usually do.
This is my honest and voluntary review of this ARC.
Job interview – check. Running late for that interview – check. Seeing stalker ex-boyfriend while running late for that interview – check. Literally running into one really hot guy, in an expensive suit making him spill his coffee and not having time to stop and apologize – check, check and check. This is how Nina’s day began, and unfortunately this is the beginning of more to follow.
As usual, ahead of schedule, just the way Brock likes it. Picking up a coffee on his way to an interview, taking time to just breathe in some air. Out of the blue you are covered in hot coffee, on the very expensive suit, and to top that off the beautiful woman who caused this didn’t stop to apologize. No, she kept going, mouthing “I’m sorry,” like that would make a difference.
Having to stop and scream at a stalker ex-boyfriend was not on the list of things to do today, but it gets done. This is what happens when Nina runs late. Once she arrives at the place she is to be for the interview, she feels she can catch her breath and calm down a little. Then a text from an unknown number tells her that her interviewer is running a little behind schedule…perfect. It doesn’t take long for the black cloud of more bad things about to happen rolls in, it just so happens to be in the form of stalker ex, and this time he is in full swing. Once ex grabs Nina and won’t release her, it is all bet’s off. Suddenly there is a hot hero right by Nina’s side assisting her. Seeing this weirdo manhandling this beautiful woman causes Brock to see red. Who does he think he is? In order to help her out, and to make sure the woman remains unharmed Brock steps in and tries to diffuse the situation. Once that mess is handled, he proceeds with his interview. There is a bit of banter and challenging of one another. Things quickly progress between these two.
Brock asks a favor of Nina for Saturday evening. Unsure of what to think or what is happening, they appear at the event. The unfortunate part of this evening is really who it is for. Enter Brock’s ex. Her idea of moving on is to marry someone in his family and rub it in Brock’s face. When Brock and Nina arrive, when they meet up with his parents he introduces them to his fiancee….say what now?! Nina tries to keep things professional, and when that doesn’t work she tries not to fall for him, and that doesn’t work well either. Brock knows what he wants and he isn’t afraid to take it, and that is Nina. Things move along great, there is a lot of chemistry and great sex. Then the green-eyed monster known as Brock’s ex uses Nina’s ex and a plan to ruin things with something very wicked. Hurt is an understatement when it comes to describing how Nina feels. Brock is hurting too. There is a lot more at stake than a personal assistant at work. There are feelings that both tried to fight. Brock is not going to fight it anymore, he welcomes the feelings and sets off to win Nina back. It will be a hard thing to do, especially when Nina’s brother is Brock’s BFF and the awkwardness that happens.
Brock doesn’t give up, he is open and completely honest with Nina. He has proof that what happened was not his doing, and shares his feelings. Nina is stunned and finally opens up and shares her feelings as well. Once these flood gates open, there is no stopping these two moving forward and in a happy ever after way.
Nina was going to do an interview at Infini Headquarters company. She's a little late when she realizes that she is being pursued by her ex-boyfriend, Peter, a manipulative, jealous and terrible-in-bed man, but with whom she stayed for 18 months. On arrival at the company, she bumps into another man spilling coffee down on his shirt. Peter continues to follow her and is only sent away from the company when the security guards are called by Brock Turner, the same with the dirty shirt.
Brock was a longtime friend of Nina's brother, Dean. Nina had all the qualifications to be Brock's assistant while he was Chief Communication Officer, as Luke Alder's assistant.
Nina proved to be a great employee, but the situation starts to get complicated when Brock asks her for a special favor. She accompanies him to his cousin's wedding, Philip, who was marrying Brock's ex-girlfriend, Rosa. To make matters worse, Brock put an engagement ring on Nina's finger so that his parents would not bothering him. From there, Nina was Brock's fiancée. And more weird/funny situations occur.
Dean always calls Nina up to check on her, since she was 15 yo there were just two of them, after their parents died in an accident. At the same time, he worried that she was working so close to Brock. Dean knew Brock very well and knew his friend was a womanizer.
The approach of the two causes that the crush that Nina always felt by Brock only increases. Brock is attracted to his best friend's sister, which was never a good thing. The two let the sparks increase, until one day Dean arrives by surprise in the office and catches them in an embarrassing situation. With this surprise, the couple decided it was time to pretend to be engaged and to be together for real. But aside from Dean, who did not believe his friend had changed the way he was, Nina and Brock had two more enemies who would do anything to separate the couple.
The plot is interesting and the characters can capture the reader's attention. As it is a "romance collection," the main story is followed by more books of the author, which, in my opinion, would not be necessary since this story here is more than enough to please the reader. 4,5 stars
I really enjoyed Nina and Brock's story! It starts with Nina going to a job interview with a company that her brother Dean's longtime best friend, Brock is CEO. Dean set up this to help both Brock who needs an assistant and Nina who needs a job. Nina has recently left a not so pleasant relationship with Peter. She is so looking forward to having a job and being on her own! She is also somewhat excited to see Brock again. While on her way to the interview her creepy, crazy ex Peter shows up and causes a scene, causing her to bump into a gentleman, spilling his coffee, she is rattled, late and mutters an I'm sorry continuing on her way. What she dosen't know is that person was Brock who also has a crazy ex Rosa. Brock finds Nina waiting for him and realizes that she is not the little kid that had a crush on him anymore, she has grown up into a beautiful women! Peter shows up and Brock tells him that she is now with him and to leave! Brock and Nina have chemistry and he loves the way she blushes, there is a wedding in Brock's family, his cousin and his ex Rosa, hence the accidental engagement! This book has moments that will have you laughing, swooning, have tears in your eyes, along with fanning yourself while reading. Brock is handsome, sexy and trying to be professional because she is his best friends sister. Nina is strong, independant and speaks her mind. Sparks fly between these two, they are drawn to each other, keep in mind the interferring ex's. To find out what happens next you will need to read the book as I will not spoil it for you! I want to thank Nikki Chase for giving me the opportunity to read and ARC of this book prior to its release. Take a chance and read this story, you will be happy that you did!
We now get Brock’s story the man we met in Accidently Married who is Luke’s right hand man. Now that Luke is married and enjoying the married life he gives Brock control over his company. Now Brock needs an assistant to help him out with the more duties he now has so he hires Nina, his best friend’s younger sister. Nina has a crazy stalker ex and needs a job and is more than happy to work for Brock, a man she had a crush on while growing up. Brock can’t believe what a beautiful woman Nina has become and Nina’s crush comes back in full force. Now the only thing they have to worry about is her ex, his ex and her over protective brother...can they overcome ? A great read with steam and I loved seeing the playful side of Brock and not just the serious man we knew from before. I also liked Nina, she was strong and I liked seeing her stick up for herself with her brother. There were a few laughs as well thorough out the story, great banter between them and of course the attraction. I loved what Brock does near the end to prove to Nina she’s the one and how the author didn’t prolong it...loved it. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there were a couple of questions left unanswered for me...what happened to Rosa, and what happened to Peter ? How did they know each other or how did they meet ? I also would have liked to have seen some karma given towards these two. Otherwise a great read that flowed nicely, with two characters I couldn’t get enough of. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
This story is about Dean, his sister Nina and Dean’s best friend, Brock. Nina has finally walked away from a very bad relationship and going for a job interview with her teenage crush, Brock that Dean set up for her. They accidentally bump into one another and neither know it until later. Nina knows someone is following her and she finds her ex, Pete there. Nina thinks she got rid of him but he reappears just when Brock sees what’s going on! Brock is shocked that Nina has become a beautiful woman since he last saw her. Brock and Nina finally have their interview and things go smoothly until Brock gets Nina to help him out with a family matter last minute without her knowing a thing until it happens. I absolutely loved how Nina and Brock interact and the fun loving humor between them is something special along with the natural chemistry between them. After all the pretending real feelings develop, can they make a real go or will their ex’s find a way to pull them apart? There is some drama with crazy ex’s and an over protective older brother who will do whatever is necessary. Can this fake engagement be more? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
ACCIDENTALLY ENGAGED - IS INTOXICATING. Humor, action, drama, fabulous dialogue, dynamic vivid scene descriptions, emotional and fun moments, and intense passionate romance make this an enjoyable read.
Nina had a teenage crush on her brother's best friend Brock; all grown up now she is a blonde beauty, and quite smart. Landing the job as Brock's PA fills her with joy. Brock is still the hot/gorgeous guy she remembers; her banter and charm fill Brock with wild fiery desires. Nina's crazy ex-has a plan to win her back. Their story has a bit of sly twist to get to their happily ever after.
FABULOUS entertaining read that had me laughing and cheering too. Nina's engaging persona is just what workaholic Brock needed to bring joy into his life. Their chemistry beams in this story and I loved them together. I also took a liking to her protective brother. Finding this to be a most gratifying read {of my volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this read.
I really enjoyed this book. Having read "Accidentally Married" I had encountered Brock before and had only really seen one side of him so reading more about him in this book and get to see more sides to him was great. I did feel the "engagement" was a little forced, but I really enjoyed the rest of the story. I also really loved to see Rosa Guerriero again. She is really fun to read about. She is one of those mean, manipulative, evil b*tches that always make things interesting. She is one of those characters that you love to hate. I just wish that it was mentioned that she was the daughter of Enzo Guerriero a little earlier than 3/4 of the way through the book. Overall, I really loved this book. The story was interesting, the romance was sweet, and the sex was hot. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance books with a little heat.
