Cute collection of romances. They’re full of fabulous characters. Heavy on sex and light on story.

Merry Christmas, Baby - 3*

This is a cute little Christmas romance. Nora has been in Holly for nine months and she’s wanted Jackson for all that time.

After months of flirting and flitting around each other they go on a date. It’s amazing. But Jackson acts like an idiot and Nora has had enough.

Jackson has his work cut out for him. But he’s nothing if not determined.

Tease Me, Baby - 3*

Hot little romance.

Fallon is weeks away from heading to California. But she’s torn. While yes she wants to attend culinary school. She doesn’t really want to leave her family and friends. And this is before she gets hot and heavy with the sheriff Brad.

These two are perfect together. It’s a wonder they’ve managed to live in the same town for so long without combusting

It’s Me Again, Baby - 2.5*

This is an okay read. Both Samantha and Maguire are nice enough. But something was missing.

I just needed more.

Mistletoe Me, Baby - 3.5*

This was my favourite of the series.

I liked the characters and how they found themselves getting the push they needed.

Miranda has told her parents she’s engaged. So when they spring a last minute visit on her she has to find said fiancé.

Luckily she gave the name of her longtime crush Nolan. Nolan is only too happy to step into the role he’s wanted for so long. Only he’s no intention of stepping back once her parents have gone.

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by NetGalley.

Merry Christmas, Baby:

Nora and Jackson have been friends for months until that one fateful night. The night of their first date. Then friends became so much more and Nora was floating on cloud nine until Jackson ghosted her. Now three weeks later he shows up hoping to pick up where they left off. Yeah, nope. Not going to happen.

This was a quick little Christmas story with two characters that completely charmed me. Nora is so sweet and yet strong and independent. Jackson is ex-military and gets a bit nervous when he’s talking to Nora. However, he loses that nervousness when the door to Nora cracks open and he bulldozes his way in.

This has a bit of a mystery, some sizzling chemistry, fun characters, and plenty of heart. I loved it!

Tease Me, Baby:

What a quick, fun little novella. Fallon is leaving to culinary school in a few weeks. She’s not perfect and this seems to be a step that will lead her to perfection. Brad is the town’s sheriff and he is perfect. In every way. He’s the town’s Boy Scout and Fallon would like nothing more than to be with him.

Brad is determined to make Fallon his own and he sets out to do so. Conveniently located closets and pantries seem to help him along the way. The fact that she’s leaving in a few weeks isn’t going to stop him.

This was a read you can sit back and relax with. Lots of steam and chemistry, some humorous moments when Fallon’s brother take a stand and great secondary characters. This one may not be set during the Christmas season, but in Holly, NC it doesn’t matter. Loved it!

It’s Me Again, Baby:

I tend to rate novellas lower than a full length book unless it’s a truly great read. This one definitely falls into that category. It has an actual plot, secondary characters that fit with the storyline, an awesome hero and heroine and plenty of romance and steamy goodness. And for all those readers who hesitate to read a second chance at love story due to celibacy issues, have no fear here. It is all good.

I loved Maguire and Samantha. Their separation was a little aggravating but it is dealt with quickly and they move on toward getting to know each other again. As all of Katie Reus’ heroes, Maguire is a total obsessive, possessive alpha and Sam likes him for it. She does stand up to him though when the situation warrants it and they work through any issues they have in an adult manner.

Mistletoe Me, Baby:

Nolan and Miranda have been friends since she moved to Holly. She has guardianship of her nephew and her life is rather too complicated to date so Nolan accepts that they will be friends and nothing more. However, when Miranda must present a fiancé to her family, he sees the opportunity to change the status quo. As all good alpha heroes do, he begins claiming her inch by inch until she’s not sure just what the heck is going on. When tragedy strikes, the relationship is strained and they both are struggling to figure out where things go from there.

The first half of this was lighthearted and fun with enough steamy goodness to boil your hot chocolate. However, things definitely take a darker turn and the strength of what they’ve started is tested. I enjoyed this quick read and was surprised by the dramatic turn it took. With “Mistletoe Me, Baby” as a title I was expecting all tinsel and glitter. It was actually quite a pleasant surprise. I would have loved if this had been worked into a full book. Gotta say though, unless I missed it, there wasn’t a twig of mistletoe to be found in the story except at the end and even that wasn’t real. Overall, it didn’t really matter. There was just too much Nolan deliciousness to complain about anything.

These are a re-read for me because I read all of them when they were published individually. I'm in love with this series. I adore over protective, possessive Alpha's who are not jerks and this author never fails me. Each book in the series are on the shorter side, but I never feel like it's not enough. Each book is set in the small town of Holly and since we see all the same characters, it's like an ongoing story and yet you can easily read each book as a standalone.

Merry Christmas, Baby
There is some groveling by the Hero since he freaked out when he realized Nora was "it" for him and didn't contact her for 3 weeks. I didn't love that part but that's where our story begins, with him pursuing her to get her back and boy does he make up for those 3 weeks!

Tease Me, Baby
There is just something about a man in uniform! Our couple is Brad, the sheriff of the town of Holly and Fallon O'Connor, little sister to Jackson from book 1. I really liked Fallon's character but I'm all about my alphas. Brad was such a sweet combination of the all American, good guy and intense Alpha. I couldn't have asked for a better Hero. The small town setting was comical along with the big brothers interference. Short, but hot and sweet read!

It's Me Again, Baby
This one is a second chance romance. Not my favorite trope because I don't like it when couples walk away from each other, but turns out the split for these two was a huge misunderstanding. The author doesn't take long revealing said misunderstanding and has these two making up for lost time.

Mistletoe Me, Baby
I was a bit worried the author was changing things up with this book when I found out Nolan and Miranda are only friends at first. I never should have doubted, once Nolan found his opening to stake his claim, Miranda didn’t know what hit her. My favorite part of this book was when tragedy struck. We truly got to see how much he loved Miranda and how he took care of her even when she pushed him away. I fell pretty hard for Nolan.

Relectura.

Tease Me, Baby ⭐⭐

It's Me Again, Baby ⭐⭐⭐

Mistletoe Me, Baby ⭐⭐

I’m a fan of most of Katie Reus’ books. Her paranormal Darkness series is a particular favorite of mine, especially the dragons. You just can never have enough hot, sexy dragon action. I also love her romantic suspense series, Redemption Harbor. It’s an auto-read for me with its mix of sexy alphas, strong heroines and lots of suspense. So I was thrilled when I got the chance to read and review The O’Connor Family Series Box Set. With the diverse genres of Ms. Reus’ that I have already been treated to, I shouldn’t have been surprised, but the majority of the books in this series are straight up contemporary romance, Although well written with some super nice characters, as an action lover, I need to be in a certain frame of mind to be able to read this type of book. That by no means meant I didn’t enjoy the stories because I did. I highly recommend this series to readers who enjoy a contemporary romance that focuses on sexy heroes and super sweet heroines rather than suspense. As these quick, easy to read stories are set in the Christmas themed town of Holly, North Carolina, this set is the perfect holiday escape when the stress gets to you.

I’m not going to do a full review of each book, but just give you little snippets of my overall thoughts on each one.

Merry Christmas, Baby
Nora and Jackson’s story was a super sweet little read. Jackson screwed up in a huge way, in fact, his faux paux was so big I’m not sure I’d have been as forgiving as Nora was. This made her a tad bit of a pushover in my mind, but not in a bad way. With absolutely no suspense, this story was pure romance with a huge dose of Christmas Cheer.

Rating: 3.5 Stars

Tease Me, Baby
Brad and Fallon’s story was extra sugary sweet. I love a sexy sheriff and Brad certainly delivered. Fallon was a bit harder to connect with as she was so far into her own head as she internally competed with her super sweet mother (of all people). Although entertaining, I think this book would have been a bit better if we had delved more into why Fallon was so focused on pleasing her Mom.

Rating: 3.5 Stars

It’s Me Again, Baby
Maguire and Sam’s story was my hands down favorite of the three stories I had not read before. This story was sexy sweet and had just a touch of suspense. I especially loved Sam and how she knew her fears and doubts were pure bunk, even going so far as to calling it her “inner bullshit”. As for Maguire, holy wow was he one sexy handful.

Rating: 4 Stars

Mistletoe Me, Baby
As mentioned above, I read and reviewed this one last year. A best friends to lovers story, this was full of all the trimmings a Christmas romance should have including the extremely patient, super-hot, alphatastic hero, Nathan. Things got a bit deep for a minute, but Nathan had it well in hand. A quick, easy read with just a touch of drama, this was the perfect story to wrap up this sweet collection of Christmas cheer from the O’Connors.

Merry Christmas, Baby -
Like a warm cup of cocoa or your favorite scented candle, Merry Christmas, Baby hits just the right spot. The story is short but the characters linger on and will keep a smile in the heart all year long. Katie Reus proves the spirit of hopefulness, giving and love is state of mind that is not contained to one day of year. (4 stars)

Tease Me, Baby -
Tease Me, Baby tempts with positivity and sensuality. More than a romance, Fallon and Brad's tale is about listening to your heart and choosing the path makes you happy. Advice worthy of any dreamer, in a love story that screams Hallmark movie. (5 stars)

It's Me Again, Baby -
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Words to live by and Ms. Reus blends the heart of contemporary and the intrigue of suspense to create a seductive puzzler. Not to mention provide a little second chance love and a hint of matchmaking along the way. So many parts of the romantic genre have come together in a firecracker read. (4 stars)

Mistletoe Me, Baby -
Tis the season for miracles. Mistletoe Me, Baby is another example of exceptional writing. Ms. Reus has sentiment on the brain and love in the heart. Nolan and Miranda are each others safe haven when the world gets tough. In the midst of pain they find hope for the future, food for the soul and an everlasting love that can weather any storm including grief. Through rainstorm of life they discover the value of the bond they've spent years building and the family they can become. A winner all year round. (4 stars)

5 Star review of O’Connor Family Series Collection (O’Connor Family #1-4) by Katie Reus

This was a new author to me and why that is so, I do not know. I absolutely adored the O’Connor Family Series Collection about the O’Connors of Holly, NC where Christmas is year round. The writing was strong in all four books and honestly, once I started I couldn’t put this book down. The characters and story lines were well developed and I fell for this family hard and fast. I enjoyed these books so much that I went and purchased the audible edition as well. One click now you won’t be disappointed.
Merry Christmas, Baby:
It’s my most favourite time of the year, add in romance and I am hooked to be sure. When friends' become lovers it is sure to muddy the waters and that is what happens to Nora and Jackson. After an unforgettable night Nora is flying high, that is until Jackson ignores her for 3 weeks. Now he is back and wants to pick up where they left off but Nora is determined that this is not going to happen. She is hurt by the distance that Jackson created and it is up to him to do some serious apologising. It appears that everyone wants Nora and Jackson together and there were numerous occasions where I found myself laughing out loud. The chemistry between Nora and Jackson sizzles and I loved the banter as these two friends finally came together. I also loved the relationship that Nora has with her sister.
Tease Me, Baby:
The second book is all about Fallon O’Connor, a pastry chef and Brad Fulton, Holly’s town sheriff . This was a fun quick read. Although Fallon is leaving Holly for culinary school, Brad is bound and determined to have her. Again the chemistry between these two was electrifying and I found myself smiling throughout this story. Above all else Tease Me Baby, is about following your dreams and opening yourself up to love. Fallon is a strong and determined
It’s Me Again, Baby:
This is a second chance at love story about Maguire and Samantha. There was intrigue and suspense as it was a great read. Sam left Maguire with no explanation and after getting out of the service he returns home and buries himself in work. When he looks for a house, his mother sets him up with a realtor who turns out to be Sam. Maguire is reeling from the shock but is determined that face has given him a second chance and it is up to him to take it. But can Sam and Maguire move on from their past?

Mistletoe Me, Baby:
The final book and is Nolan and Miranda story who are best friends although Nolan has wanted more for quite a while. However she is guardian to her nephew and does not feel she has time for a relationship. Trying to keep her parents off her back she tells them she is engaged. Shocked to learn that her parents have decided to visit her for Christmas, she turns to Nolan to play the part of her fiance. Nolan leaps at the chance as he is sure that he can get her to give him a chance once she gets past her initial fears. When tragedy strikes, will this bring them together or tear them apart? I fell hard and fast for Nolan, he is an alpha and totally dreamy.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll get with this four novella book series, folks:

Tease Me, Baby:

Katie Reus had me at hello with her gripping paranormal “Darkness” series, so I just couldn’t resist trying one of her “O’Connor Family” novella series. It doesn’t hurt I’m a sucker for cooking and sheriff themed romantic reads. Mix them together, and I was pretty certain I was going to be served up an entertaining literary treat before I even turned a page.

Fallon couldn’t help but fall for Brad, the handsome good guy sheriff, and vice versa. We meet them about a year after Fallon has returned to their hometown. Folks, these two simply couldn’t keep their hands and lips to themselves. This ended up being a steamy, yet sugary sweet, uncomplicated, low angst read. There really isn’t any major drama to mull over in this review.

If you are looking for a very short, hometown backdrop romantic tale with lots of steaminess, you might want to consider this one and the other books in the series, as well.

Title: Tease Me Baby, Series: O’Connor Family (Book 2), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 89, stand-alone novella that is part of a series, pastry chef heroine, sheriff hero, nonvirgin main couple, no cheating, no love triangle, no OW/OM drama, VERY smexy scenes, not a manho, both have not been with anyone in quite awhile, sweet main couple, HEA

It’s Me Again, Baby:

In the short novellas that make up this series, Katie Reus gives us strong alpha protective, possessive heroes that are determined to get the girl. In this case, you can add “again” and “to keep her safe”. After a three year separation, this main couple learn they were duped and waste no time letting old feelings become new again. Since they both remained celibate, it’s pretty much like they never parted.

Lusty thoughts and graphic smexy scenes, some which are in rather public places, mostly steal the show, folks, But you feel the chemistry and emotional connection between this very likable main couple, as well.. With some stalker drama that isn’t overly drawn out, it all wraps up very neatly within the allotted 99 pages.

So if you are looking for a quick, very lusty, second chance romantic read in a small hometown setting featuring a sweet, likable main couple, you might want to consider this one and check out the other books, as well.

Title: It’s Me Again, Baby, Series: O’Connor Family (Book 3), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 99, stand-alone novella but part of a series, alpha protective hero, sweet/damsel in distress heroine, second chance romance, celibate since separation, stalker drama, no cheating, no love triangle, no OW/OM drama, VERY smexy scenes in public places, HEA. Rating: 3.5 stars

Merry Christmas, Baby:

I just didn’t overly connect with Nora and Jackson, the main couple in the first novella. Their story was obviously meant to be sweet, but I found them a rather boring couple. Rating: 2.5 stars

Mistletoe Me, Baby:

Unfortunately, this novella wasn’t particularly engaging, as well. Perhaps it’s because it is an overly done theme. Nolan and Miranda’s romantic tale just wasn’t overly engaging. Rating: 2.5 stars

Merry Christmas, baby - This short but sweet novella is the start to another series by Katie. I’m slowly making my way through them all and loving them! This one is about Nora who moves to Holly with her sister, after inheriting a bookstore from an Aunt she never knew. Due to her taking guardianship she hasn’t really had time to date, until Jackson, former SEAL and all around golden boy from the town, he slips past her defences. When they eventually go on a date he promises to call, but doesn’t. Will he be able to get a second chance with her or is it too late?

Quick read but worth it and there were hints at other stories so keen to see what transpires from it all:)

Tease me, baby - I enjoyed this book more than the first, but I think it’s because I was familiar with Fallon and Brad:) Anyway, Fallon is supposed to be leaving for culinary school when she finds herself at the beginning of a new and exciting relationship with Brad, their town Sheriff! Sweet story and loved the ending:)

These two books I had already purchased and reviewed before I received the boxset as an advanced copy.

It’s me again, baby - Maguire O’Connor was struggling to transition back into civilian life after the Marines, so he threw himself into working. Mainly running an auto repairs place and a car restoration business. Now he’s looking to buy a bigger place and his mom finds him a new realtor. When he arrives, he realises the realtor is Samantha, the one woman he had and for some reason lost! Samantha can’t believe it when Maguire shows up for the property inspection, as it’s been three years since she last saw him.

Loved this story, it included everything I like in Katie’s books - suspense, romance and a little bit of danger!

Mistletoe me, baby - The final brother Nolan O’Connor finally gets a chance to claim the one woman who he has had feelings for when her parents show up unexpectedly before Christmas 🎄! Miranda knows that her and Nolan are best friends, but when she arrived she wasn’t looking for anything more especially when she took guardianship of her nephew Mateo, but now she has to ask him to be her fake fiancé because her parents are coming to town......expecting to meet her fiancé.....Nolan!

Loved this story, was emotional but a friends to lovers romance which was amazingly pure and heartfelt! I received this book as part of the box set from Netgalley and voluntarily leave my honest review. A must read series:)

All my reviews from above can also be found on Amazon AU.

The is the full series of the O'Connor family. Each book can be read as a standalone but they are all interconnected.

Book 1 is about Nora and Jackson. Nora has moved to Holly after inheriting a book store from her great Aunt. She believes it is the perfect place for her little sister to finish school and become an adult. Her and Jackson become friends before she lets him talk her into something more, only to have it blow up in her face afterwards. Jackson grew up in Holly and only left for the military before coming home once his time was up. He panicked when he realized that Nora was the only one for him and made a huge mistake. Now he has to try to get her to not only to understand but to forgive him and let him in her life again.

I really loved Nora and Jackson together. They have chemistry but they also genuinely like each other. Even after Jackson has a dumb moment, Nora is strong enough to forgive him and still understand that she truly does know him and can trust him. Perfect way to start this series.

Book 2 is about Fallon and Brad. Brad is the sheriff for Holly and seems to always be the "boy scout" whereas Fallon feels like she can be a troublemaker. Throwing these two together right before Fallon is making a major change in her life might just break them both.

I absolutely love Fallon!! She cracks me up from the get go with her attitude and just her love of life! Her and Brad have over the top chemistry and make every second of this read well worth it! Loved it!

Book 3 is about Maguire and Sam. They have a history together but have now been thrown together again. But can either one move on from the past and embrace this second chance?

I was really surprised with how much I liked this one. At first I was prepared to not like either character until you realize exactly what happened in the past and understand that it wasn't all their fault. Once they move past all of that, they have a great relationship and I love how they interact with each other.

Book 4 is about Nolan and Miranda. They are best friends although Nolan has wanted to be more than friends for months. Miranda has told her parents she is engaged to try to get them off her back about dating while she is taking care of her nephew. Now her parents are coming to visit for Christmas and she has to come up with the fake fiance for them. Which entails asking Nolan to do it for her and Nolan coming up with the idea of showing her that he may be playing the fake fiance for her parents but his feelings are anything but fake!

This was a quick, cute read! As a Katie Reus book you know it's going to be good and it definitely was! I just wish it had been longer. Miranda is a sweet woman who is handling such horrible things with a strength of character that you can't help but admire. Nolan is a sweet man who is always there for friends and family but he knows that he wants and needs more from Miranda and is determined to show her what they could have. It really is a good read, just too short in my opinion!

This is such a great series and I love the fact that now you can get all of them in one book! Definitely well worth it to read them all!

I received a free advanced copy of this book from the publisher, from Netgalley.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

This is a collection of four previously released novellas about the four adult O'Conner children, all living in Holly, North Carolina. The three men, Jackson, Maguire and Nolan all served in the military and had difficulties returning to civilian life. Fallon, their sister, feels like a failure, since she didn't. Their mother taking things into her own hands, acting as matchmaker, and even starting pools to see when each couple will become engaged, manages to marry all four children off in a year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY, is Jackson's story. Holly is a small tourist town in the Blue Ridge Mountains. that is Christmas-themed all year round. Nora Cassidy moved to town about 9 months ago with her younger sister, Sasha, who she is guardian for and opened Nora's Books and Brew. Jackson was immediately attracted to her, but took his time before he asked her for a date and after promising to call her, scared himself about his strong feelings and disappeared for three weeks. After hearing rumors about him with another woman, she gives him the cut, but he'd been a SEAL and was not going to fail on his mission to make her his wife.

TEASE ME BABY, is Fallon story. Sheriff Brad Fulton has had his eyes on Fallon O'Conner for the last year, but she has been avoiding him after a sizzling kiss on Christmas. She has been accepted to a culinary school in California, but is very ambivalent about the move and seems to be going more to impress her mother than because of what she can learn there. As things heat up between them, he finds out about her plans and makes his own plans to make her his.

IT'S ME AGAIN, BABY is Maguire's story and a second chance story. Three years ago, Maguire had shared one smoking week with Samantha Murphy, while he was on leave, and then she disappeared. Now she is back, because her father died and her mother needed her. They find out that a misunderstanding (a woman claimed to Samantha that she was his girlfriend and she was so insecure that she believed her) was the reason she ghosted him. Spending time together as she helps him as a realtor to find a property, they find that their chemistry is still there and he is not going to let her get away again. But a stalker has followed her to Holly. Can Maguire keep her safe and make her his?

MISTLETOE ME, BABY is Nolan's story. Miranda Flores and Nolan became best friends when she moved to town. Nolan wants more, but she made it clear that recently becoming guardian to her nephew, she is not at a place for a relationship. So he bides his time. When Miranda's parents come for a visit, after she had told them she was engaged to get her mother to stop nagging, Nolan volunteers to play the part. But he isn't playing and needs to convince to Miranda that he has wanted her for his from the start.

This is a marvelous series with cleverly developed, appealing characters and engaging plots to "get the girl". Steamy scenes, but the brothers all seem to use the same moves. Each book takes about an hour to read.

Merry Christmas Baby is the first novella in the O’Connor family series. Since I went in knowing the length of the book I wasn’t expecting much on the character development side of things and honestly, neither should you, so I wasn’t disappointed when the development never came. What I wasn’t happy about was the fact that we never saw another O’Connor member in this book. It was rather odd, especially considering the series name. Unlike most of the other series, there was no setup for the second book and it was weird.

Tease me baby: I found the second novella in the series to be better than the first one (Merry Christmas Baby). The romance was good and I was happy with this short story. I wasn’t Fallon’s biggest fan, but she was ok and I have had worst heroines. Brad, on the other hand, is pure boyfriend material. He was good, I loved him and I consider him the best thing that happened in the novella.

Mistletoe Me, Baby is the fourth book in the O'Connor family series and it can be read as a stand-alone book. This is the story of Miranda and Nolan, two best friends who are about to become more. They have known each other for months now but refused to act on their attraction because it might have ruined their friendship so things remained platonic until Nolan realized that he might lose her to another man. There is no cheating or another woman or man, so don't worry about my comment. In fact, both of them didn't have any partners after they first met. The whole fake-fiance thing comes later in the book. Well, not much later since Mistletoe Me, Baby is a short book, but the foundation for Nolan's plan to make Miranda his has been already been set. I enjoyed reading this book very much, but I was not happy with the tragedy that stroked Miranda. For some reason, it felt cheap to me and it had almost no effect to the characters after the initial shock wore off. Despite that, I would recommend the book. It put me in a festive spirit. It had a good pace and the main characters were very likable

It’s me again baby: This is how you write a good second chance romance! You make either both characters celibate as it happened in this book, or you have both of them move on. This is my favorite story so far in the series, which is a surprise to me since I am not usually a fan of SCRs. I did wish that this story would be just a little bit longer, mainly because I enjoy Katie Reus' writing.

A great holiday boxed set! I really enjoyed each title and thought they complemented each other well.

Merry Christmas, Baby: A cute Christmas story! I liked Nora and Jackson a lot and I felt their chemistry. It almost seemed like we came in during the middle of the story, which was an interesting story telling technique that I enjoyed more than I expected. It is a quick read, but a lovely Christmas romance.

Tease Me, Baby: It's hard not to love Brad. He may not be quite as much of a "boy scout" as he seemed at first, but he is such a good guy....and he rescued puppies! Fallon is kind of torn between the path she thinks she should take and the path she wants. Fallon and Brad have combustible chemistry, which even they can't seem to control. I loved the buildup in their relationship. I also really like how things were handled without any cliched tropes, but with communication and maturity. Fallon's family is great as well, and I loved the hockey game initiation! I really hope that future stories focus on some of these family members! This was a quick but it absolutely felt like a complete story with character depth.

It's Me Again, Baby: A fun second chance romance. Maguire and Samantha were only together for one week in their early 20s, but sparks fly when they see each other again. I was glad that the original misunderstanding as worked out quickly. They are great characters and they complemented each other well. I liked the little bit of action in the subplot and it kept engaged. As always, I love the town and the O'Connor family. A quick but fun read!

Mistletoe Me, Baby: Another cute story. I'm not always a fan of the fake fiance trope, but this one was handled well. It's hard not to adore Nolan. He and Miranda are a good pair, and I enjoyed watching their romance develop. Miranda's family added another interesting layer to their story, and it definitely had some emotional ups and downs. I really liked this story and thought it was a great end to a fun series!

Merry Christmas, Baby!
Nora and Jackson are a fun couple, young but each already successfully navigating more responsibility than many their age have.
This is a quick read. Lots of chemistry between characters. Fun secondary characters and situations. Not sure how many former SEALs are tongue-tied by a woman he knows is "the" one at first glance, bur Jackson is definitely charming and knows bow to go after what he wants... once he figures it out. True, he freaked at how permanent she felt in his arms, but he is a young man fresh out of service...
Nora seems a bit immature emotionally; she's devastated and hurt when he doesn't call her after a make-out; then there the rumor of him and another woman, but they'd made no official commitments. She admits her love life has been pretty much no existent since she officially became her younger sister's guardian. He didn't call her for 3 weeks... does she not have his number or doesn't it work both ways?
Putting that aside, this pair is cute and fun to read. Can totally picture them spatting and making up into old age.

Tease Me, Baby!
Brad and Fallon may take a while to act, but boy when they so the heat lights up the night. She may have plans to leave, but Brad is going to make sure she doesn't soon forget him, culinary school or not.

It’s Me Again, Baby!
This pair is something. They had a wild 1 week affair a few years back and were madly in love… until Samantha leaves without a word, after both professed to fall hard and fast to. He was devastated and still dealing with affects from service. Both threw themselves into very successful careers.
They see each other when she moves back and, after quickly dispensing past wrongs, can’t keep their hands off each other. Their bond is swift and true. It’s luke the years between never happened. Only they did. She gained confidence and he worked off the remnants of a few tours. Oh, and she also picked up a stalker while she was away, but figures its no big deal so why bring it up—until someone cuts her tires and tries to break into her home—while she was there. That adds another layer to their relationship, dealing with major major issues together and what is and isn’t Okay.
Of course, Mama O’Connor has a betting pool goin on this relationship too. She does know her kids pretty well. What will she do with all that cash if she wins? Hope she started a wedding fund, trust for future grandkids or Christmas. Her family keeps growing.

THE O'CONNOR FAMILY SERIES By Katie Reus
I loved this series! This book has four short stories. The stories are about the O'Connor siblings and their significant others and their paths to finding happiness with each other. These take place in a Christmas town called Holly.
The 1st book is Merry Christmas Baby and brings the story of Nora and Jackson. Friends that decide to see if there is more, then Jackson takes off for 3 weeks without a word, but realizes she is hurt and feels betrayed. Let the groveling commence.... The 2nd book is Tease Me Baby and brings the story of Fallon and Brad. She is a pastry chef and he is the sheriff of the town. The 3rd book is Its Me Again Baby and brings the story of Samantha and Maguire. This is a second chance book. They had a relationship and Maguire who was a navy seal had to deploy and she broke off the relationship when he was gone. He inadvertently hired her as a realtor and they have a time of it. The 4th book is Mistletoe Me Baby about Miranda and Nolan. This story has Miranda talking Nolan into being her fiance to show her parents that her story of being engaged is real. He readily agrees.
Katie Reus always has well developed characters and story lines. She has a real gift at making you care about her characters. This was an engaging read as Jackson, Nolan, Fallon and Maguire are siblings. I really enjoy books that continue with characters you have met in previous stories.

This collection is just so absolutely feel good that it is made to put a smile on your face.
Each individual title isn't very long but the most important parts of the love story are covered thoroughly without unnecessary padding.
The books are Christmas themed due to the setting of Holly, North Carolina where it's Christmas all year round. I love this idea, as it gives the reader a way to indulge in a seasonal story at any time of the year!

First up is Merry Christmas Baby. Norah thought that there was a possibility of romance with Jackson but his lack of a follow up after their date has left her feeling insecure. Jackson has his work cut out trying to persuade Norah that he really does want to be with her. Great characters and plenty of steam make this the perfect set up for the next story.

Tease Me Baby is scorching hot! The chemistry between Brad, the seemingly straightlaced sheriff and Fallon is off the charts. I enjoyed the humorous interference from the O'Connor brothers, making certain Brad treated Fallon right, sheriff or not, brothers will always try to intimidate a potential love interest.

It's Me Again, Baby is a great second chance romance. I'm glad that the author dealt with the reason for the break down quickly so we got to the recoupling part. Again the couple get hot and heavy in no time, 'fans self' 🔥

Finally it's the turn of Nolan and Miranda in Mistletoe me, Baby. The collection certainly ends on a high note with a fake fiancé/ friends to lovers storyline.
There is real depth of feeling and some issues are dealt with in a sensitive way which I appreciated.
All in all a lovely end to a fab collection.

Hugely enjoyable

I have definitely fallen in love with the O'Connors after reading the 4 novella length stories included in this collection. Each one of these stories will warm your heart and make you swoon. Everyone should grab a copy of this collection and enjoy this incredible family and the wonderful little town of Holly, NC.

Merry Christmas, Baby - A wonderful friends to lovers story. After Jackson disappears on her, Nora knows she should have stuck to her no romance rule with him. Now Jackson's back trying to explain but Nora's having none of it.

Tease Me, Baby - Fallon has been crushing on the town sheriff forever but it takes the news that she's leaving town for him to finally make his move. Has Brad waited too long or can he convince her to stay?

It's Me Again, Baby - In this story Maguire and Samantha find a second chance at love after they finally deal with the past and learn that the thing that broke them apart was a lie.

Mistletoe Me, Baby - This is another friends to lovers story - sorta. Nolan has loved Miranda for a long time but she's always kept him in the friend zone. Now she asks him to pose as her fake fiance. He agrees and comes up with a plan to show her how things could be if she'd just give them a chance.

This is the first book by Katie Reus that I've read that is not romantic suspense so I was really looking forward to finding out about this side of her. Actually, this is not one book but it is a collection of four previously published novellas.
Short but sweet and charming, these books are a really nice treat on a cold winter's day. Heart-warming, sometimes funny, with strong heroines and their significant, very alpha-ish others, these books are captivating and entertaining.

Despite the shortness of the individual texts, there was nothing missing. I am very often frustrated when reading novellas or worse - short- stories because they always seem to be a bit rushed and to miss something vital but this is not the case with these novellas. Developed and intriguing story lines , amazing characters and of course, there's also the fact that Katie Reus's writing is also amazing.
On the whole I really loved these books even though I also would have loved to see some or all of them turned into full-length novels as well. Apart from that though, I can definitely recommend this book with its sweet and interesting stories.

Katie Reus is a new author to me but since I love the Christmas Season this set was always going to be on my radar and I loved the O’Connor Family Series Collection books 1-4. I fell hook line and sinker for the O’Connor’s once I started reading there was no putting down until I had read the very last line. This Collection is full of characters you can’t help falling in love with they all have different strengths and weaknesses and Katie Reus has a way of drawing you in and making you feel part of the O’Connor clan it’s set in a small town called Holly where everyone knows everyone it’s just how I imagine what small town living in the USA is all about. This collection is beautifully written about a interesting family and I would recommend it to anyone who loves romance this collection will having you falling in love with the town of Holly and it’s inhabitants. This series is a compilation of four novellas, each focusing on one of the O'Connor siblings (four alpha brothers who are drool-worthy and one strong, smart-alecky sister who could take them all down if she wanted). We get to watch them find their happily ever after with other great characters that match each of them perfectly. There's a lot of possessiveness, insta-love, smokin-hot chemistry, and laughs, along with just a little bit of angst thrown in to make it interesting. This is a great light, fun read. I think Fallon's story is my favorite. No, wait...it's Nolan's. Or maybe Jackson's. Geez. They're all great, so it's a good think they come in a set here.

This was a lovely contemporary romance series from an incredibly talented author. Usually in a collection there will be books I see as weaker than others, that for one reason or another just don't work for me. With The O'Connor Family Series that absolutely was not the case. Each book could comfortably stand alone without suffering from the dreaded 'series similarity' disease that seems to infect most series that I read (definitely when read back to back the way I did this one) with plot and characters that I was delighted to spend time with and will certainly re-read again in the future!
*Thanks the NetGalley and the publisher*

This is a collection of 4 romances involving 4 siblings. Jackson is a carpenter. Fallon is a pastry chef. Maguire owns an auto repair shop. Nolan is a building contractor. All the men were in the military and all saw action in the Middle East. The women are strong and independent. Two of them are raising much younger relatives. Nora, who owns a bookstore/coffee shop, is raising her much younger sister Sasha. Miranda, who manages the community center, is raising her nephew Mateo. All the stories are cute and sexy. Two have mysteries involved. One has a major tragedy. Two have the potential for tragedy. All suck you in quickly.

Jackson, Fallon, Maguire, and Nolan O'Connor's stories are all standalone reads, and do connect as some of the siblings will appear in each other's story. This collection makes it easy to have them all in one book. They are all fun, sweet, and sexy stories of each O'Connor finding a HEA, all in a place where you find Christmas year around, Holly, N.C. Heartwarming stories with a bit of angst and drama, this is a collection not to be missed. I would like to thank NetGalley and K.R. Press for gifting me the "O'Connor Family Series Collection for a fair and honest review. 5 Stars!

Sweet and Sexy

Katie Reus has created a heartwarming family in the O'Connors that we all would love to belong to.
They are smart, thoughtful and loving, always welcoming to the "in-laws". This collection had 4 wonderful feel good stories. Each of the stories were distinctive and the couples were special in their own way. There is some sadness, that is part of life but these stories will have you smiling.

Family stories are always interesting and full of love. The drama, if they will find love. As with these four stories, you love the characters, hoping they will find that special someone. They are set in a small town, so one knows everyone and everything going on.Her books are always a delight to read, you get caught up in them, and ones you like to reread. Given ARC. by Net Galley and K R Press for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
