Annabelle Winters is a 25 year old female that has been on her own for the last ten years. After losing her father and younger brother in an automobile accident a decade ago, her mother could not cope with the loss and now resides in a county run assisted living facility. Annabelle makes ends meet by leasing the farm ground on the home place, renting out space in the barns, and bar tending. With her two bar-tending jobs she shuttles back and forth from her home town to Indianapolis a hundred miles away. Her routine is soon interrupted by a brush with an ancient evil. With the help of friends, some old and some new, she begins to unravel the mysteries and dark pasts of the evil. Annabelle soon begins to realize the vicious and wicked nature of the evil and how it has affected her family, friends, and herself.
