About the author

Ben Cooper is an avid boater, fisherman, Parrothead (RIP Jimmy), and MINI Cooper enthusiast.

He’s the author of four novels, including Cockwomble (2026), Missing Exes (2024), Cuban Contraband (2022), and Blind Luck (1998), his debut novel, which was selected as one of the favorite debuts of 1998 by Murder by the Book, one of the largest independent mystery bookstores in the US.

Ben lives in Houston, Texas, and Windermere, Florida, with his wife, Jody, and their dog, Dutchess.

You’ll find him on the road with a few hundred of his closest friends during MINI Takes the States and MINI Takes Route 66.

I actually enjoyed the story, the editing was not the greatest, but the story was good.
