Yes, this arc is definitely turning out to be a favourite. Even if the finale sucks (I hope not) the first two parts have been very worth the read.

Drunk Shizuku was awesome. Mayumi's revenge was also well worth it (though I do wonder why she exacted it on Hattori too; Tatsuya deserved it without a doubt). And then we have Honoka having a fit of apoplexy over certain events pertaining to a robot. That was illustrated. Wow.

I don't think I can really say much about this without spoiling the story for other readers. It's the middle of a 3-part story, so nothing gets resolved. There's some filler (Valentine's Day), but even most of that has a purpose. It's a good, entertaining story. On to the final part.

Part 2 of the Visitor Arc starts were 1 ended. As Tatsuya gathers more information and unites at least the Japanese factions, various paths coincide in a big confrontation with a single vampire with unexpected results. Interspersed is some character development and humour during Valentine Day events and the chocolate giving tradition familiar to fans of Japanese High School stories.

It is a solid continuation of the series with the same flaws and strengths. There was a bit more humour in this part which I liked. It was also a good opportunity for some character development. Am I odd in that I ship Mayumi (I find her personality extremely entertaining) even though I know that is extremely unlikely or I pity Honoka? The concept behind the vampires become more concrete and I like it, even if it raises the question on why such things did not happen earlier. Again, it makes a good story, but if the reader has to take some things at face value. Oddly enough, the author is clearly aware of some of the plot holes since even the main character is wondering about them. Personally I am not a fan of offering the points of view of others too often (and it was borderline for me in that regards), but it does add depth to especially Angelina and Erika.

The book ends at a real cliff-hanger, but at least I waited reading until the full arc was available for sale…

The visitor is a really interesting line of story - and how it turns out in this book was really unexpected. At first I didn't believe it.. it really sounds so rare.
The valentine day stuff (and Miyuki and Lina) really make me feel I was reading a cliché shojo where all the girls like the mysterious guy.
But in the end, I like how the story is progressing and how the book ends in the middle of an important fight.

The book starts with a good premise and has such a good background but it can be excruciatingly detailed and slow at some points. Fear not though as the end does hold up.

The USNA units are a rather despicable lot, and -as an american- I can't say I'm surprised.

Nice cliff.
Seriously, I am starting to hate USNA and its dubious approach.
Poor Tatsuya? But I'm not sorry at all? Like, OMG bring on the fight!

Haven't had wi-fi when I was reading it, and now it's been too long and can't remember particulars so my star rating will have to do.
