Fitzwilliam Darcy was all-wrong at the start of canon, and all-right at the end. Was there ever a point where he was exactly half-right? (Fluffy One-Shot)

Lambton Inn: Lizzy has shared Jane’s letter about Lydia and Wickham with Darcy and he is about to take his leave. She knows she will never see him again and decides she has one chance to apologize for her harsh words at Hunsford. Lovely page time between ODC.

Such a delightful little one-shot! This expands the scene between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy at the Lambton Inn after she has received the two letters from Jane alerting her to the pending scandal for the Bennet family. As Darcy is about to leave, Elizabeth calls him back and their conversation continues.
Lovely, heartwarming, and as well-written as this author's pieces always are.
A one-shot which allows Elizabeth to call Mr. Darcy back after she has explained about the letter from Jane relating Lydia's elopement. They both offer apologies and changed views...or rather for him a view that his marrying her will not hurt Georgiana as she will gain the sister she needs. His way of offering is quite different. Takes just minutes to read but a lovely variation.
Half-Right is an alternate path of a scene of Pride and Prejudice, namely the one at Lambton when Elizabeth reads the upsetting letter from Jane. This alternate scene has Elizabeth pointing out that one of Darcy's statements was half-right.
I enjoyed this little story, which took just a few minutes to read. Completely clean. No obvious errors that I saw, but I do think it could use a just a little bit of editing. I agree with the author that he could expand it into a longer JAFF (Jane Austen fan fiction) story.
Wade H. is a favorite of one of my JAFF reader friends on GR. She's always so obliging to provide links within her reviews to help others find JAFF stories. I'm including it here as well, below.
Half-Right is Elizabeth's answer to Darcy's statement "You have been long desiring my absence". As they each take a moment to allow the other to absorb mannerisms, their spoken words, and the implications of Jane's letter about Lydia, Elizabeth and Darcy find they have reached an agreement.
The story is short, very sweet, and is simply fun as the reader is shown a window to their inner thoughts. It all starts from Elizabeth speaking up rather than watching Darcy simply leave when he visits her in Lambton.
