Rage is the residential psycho of the club. Tormented by his own demons he lives in pain and agony, a constant state of rage. Everyone knows him as the Hellhound of the Riders of Tyr , known for his cruelty and the joy he gets from causing pain. To others and to himself. Loyal to his King and the club he craves for the liberation death will bring him. Till he meets Iris.
Iris has escaped Hell and lives out on the streets till she surprises everyone and becomes a mechanic for the Riders. Afraid of her own shadow, plagued by the terrifying memories she never feels safe. Until she meets Rage.
I don’t know when I started reading Adelina Jaden’s books but I am sure glad I did. The Hellhound is one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. Her writing is absolutely beautiful and the way the characters are written give insight into what they are actually feeling. I re-read this book at least once a month (along with the others but this one by far the most). I am constantly sucked back into the MC world that was created in these books and never fail to feel all the emotions while reading.
So... I am about to review each of the Riders of Tyr books...but I have to start with this one because, no matter how much I love each character and each couple, Rage is -and will forever be- my baby.
When I started this one, I was already interested in his character. (We saw a few glimpses of him in Bjorn and Ava'story) and he intrigued me. There was something positively feral, but also wounded to him and I couldn't wait to read his book.
Well, Adelina Jaden has never disappointed me, but this one took the cake for sure.
This is the story of two broken people finding love, strength, and hope in each other. It's a story about PTSD, and trauma, about mental health, depression, self-destruction, healing, and hope...
Iris is a woman tortured by her past that she just escaped, and while she isn't harassed by the demons of her life in the same way Rage is, she is still a little bit insecure, but she is not afraid of him. She reads him without any words and she doesn't expect him to change, she just...wants and needs him. And that's one difference made for him, I think, contrary to some of his Riders brothers, she needs him for him, not for what he is capable of doing.
Rage's chapters are positively chaotic, and tortured, but also extremely soft. This is the Hellhound of the Riders, the strongest, the one everyone fears, and the beast, but he is also the sweetest and most insecure one... There is something almost poetic to the way his thoughts are painted and don't even get me started on the way he thinks, sees, protects, and touches Iris... I melt every freaking time. Then again, I love him so much that I melt when he appears in other books.
Another thing I loved about this book is that Iris is also unique on her own. We often see demands for strong female protagonists and don't get me wrong...The women on Riders of Tyr are all badasses, absolute Queens on their own, with difficult lives.... and Iris is too but in a totally different way than the others Valkyries. She doesn't kick asses, she doesn't have knives or killer punches, but she is so so strong. She is a survivor, she is resilient, and she isn't afraid. And she is the softness that Rage needs. I appreciated having this kind of strength shown. <3
I could talk about this book a lot, but I will end here by saying this: for the past year, it has been the book I open when I am down. I relate to a lot of their feelings and tortured past and it just fills me with so much hope and love in the end, that I just can't help but come back for more.
I really hope this series gets published someday... There is a special space in my library just for all of them.

An MC heartthrob, batshit crazy muscular, alpha male with a perfectly suited woman.
My type of MC romances are very consistent and predictable, and much to what any might assume, very high standard. The synopsis is so perfectly written to encapsulate the plot of the story and the foreshadow of the characters, the only thing I can grasp for words is the emphasis that I truly love this book to the point of re-reading it over and over again.
I'm only gonna say that: That slight misunderstanding at the end that hurt everyone will only be forgiven because Rage really need professionnel help but still, guys, COM-MU-NI-CA-TION damn it! In any relationship you need that key! At ALL time! And it should come from BOTH WAYS! Thank you.
Best MC series I have ever read. This was my favorite story of all of them so far. I love how two broken people found love within each other. I also have an affacuation with the Hellhound and how fucked up his head is. Def recommend this book!!
The Riders of Tyr are a unique MC and deserve each of their 5 stars! Looking for another unique MC experience worth 5 stars, try Bayou Bishops MC by Lucian Bane.
Originally devoured this book in 2018 when I first discovered Adelina Jaden on wattpad and it is still one of my favorite stories I have ever read. This is the second time reading it because of book 7 is slowlyyyyy coming out and I wanted to reacquaint myself with the ryders and their AMAZING valkyries. This is still by far my favorite book of the 6. Rage has a deranged (beautiful) and broken soul but finds peace in Iris who has had a very difficult past. The whole story is just ahh! This is seriously one of the best stories I have read on wattpad and/or Inkitt.
Yes, I know Rage is a physico... But there is a beauty in this book that I can't comprehend yet. It's like beauty and the beast with a beautiful beast that is broken inside, and a Belle that can comprehend his brokenness because she is broken too. The hellhound is a short and quick story that leaves you with a warm fuzzy inside your heart. The riders are messy, living in darkness and Rage is the bottom of it, but yet... He is Iris' heaven.
