Alice isn’t ready for a second chance at love – too bad it’s happening anyway! Alice Chen spent the better part of a year getting over her girlfriend moving thousands of miles away and becoming her ex-girlfriend. She’s got a plan for her senior year of school, work, friends and family. What she didn’t plan for was her ex coming back. She’s not ready when all the old feelings between them return and throw her life completely into chaos in the process. Alice is torn between the good memories of their relationship and the bad ones of their breakup. With her friends and family maybe too eager to help, only Alice can decided if she's willing to risk her heart again.

Another good story. I actually feel bad for single and sweet Marie... the one straight girl with lesbian best friends. But meh... there are enough hetero stories out there, so I don't feel that bad for her heheh.
As I said, this was a good story... I wish Alice would introduce her friends to her grandmother. She'd totally love being around the girls, and they'd totally love all of the delicious food. Anyway, this book made me miss my grandmother so badly.
Fun, sweet story with a lot of laughs and some sweet grandmother moments. I liked it.
I dont know what it is a out this series but I really like it. What I dont like is how long each one takes to come out but that's just a personal gripe no biggie really. It actually forces me to reread the other ones just a refresher but you dont have to to read this book. This is told by Alice whose ex-girlfriend, Sabrina, returns from France and wants her back. To be honest it could have been longer and more detailed but it was very cute and sweet just the way it is. I really hope there will be a book for Alma as I really like her and as one reviewer mentioned maybe Alma with Marie...now that would be great!
I was excited because of the theme second chances and for that I really wanted to like this one but I felt like the complications are forced. I don’t really like Alice. I mean, she’s the one who broke things off because her girlfriend will study for 1 year abroad, okay I know how Hard LDR is but I was thinking like maybe 4 years from the way she’s acting. 😂 I mean her girlfriend is majoring French classes. So? And now that her girlfriend is back she’s in panic mode. I think the whole time I was totally annoyed with her POV. I felt sorry for Sabrina. I was also expecting that maybe Sabrina was the one who broke things off and left Alice hanging. But I saw none of that, she’s actually sweet and the only fault I saw from her was she didn’t tell Alice right away she’s applying abroad.
I’m rooting for Alma and Marie. I laughed a few times. Book 1’s still my favorite.

Feel good tale following two young women as they reconnect after a mutually miserable year apart. It was also nice to catch up with the cast from earlier Say Yes books.
The third and final book in the series centers on Alice, a relatively minor character introduced in the second book. Her ex-girlfriend, Sabrina, is back, so of course the stereotypical drama ensues. This book is the longest of all, but it feels padded. The characters from the previous books don't have much more than cameos. It's really mostly about Alice and her self-inflicted relationship drama. Oh, and the professor with the stupid name from the second book is back, and Alice is her TA, so her stupid name is mentioned a lot. She's one of THOSE professors, and I kept hoping for the students to revolt (perhaps violently). And most of the final chapter is wasted on her. I wanted more of the friend group. Overall, the series ended with a bit of a thud.
I love this series. After reading a number of real bad YA books it is a relief to pick up an Abby Crofton - pity you have to wait so long between books! Book #1 is still my favorite (just got and looking forward to reading 'The Missing Dates') but they are all great. Echoing another reviewer Alma and Marie???
