This is one of the second books in a much-loved series. That's right, not just one but two!!

I loved this book. It followed the first book in the series perfectly well. I love the writing style of this author and I even encourage all my friends and family to read this author's books. This book definitely lived up to the hype of its release with a gripping storyline and I was willing the couple to have a happy ending. This means I cared about the characters so the author had definitely made them likeable. This series has fast become one of my favourites of all time.

A fantastic read and I look forward to reading more of the series.

So, Owen was the second book I read in the “It’s complicated” duo, and from pretty early on in Caleb’s book, I quickly realised that Owen was the man for me. Needless to say I had high hopes for him, and his story.

The story of Rita and Owen was how it should most definitely should have gone. The highs and lows of life, love and families and all the crap inbeteen. There as a sense of just sheer reality with these stories and I loved that. Not the sugar coated, love is great and happily ever after, but the real life issues we all face whether it be with family and friends or in different circles. It was raw in parts and real throughout.
The way Lavinia Urban covered some pretty tough topics, only commented what I knew about her already. She’s amazing. Simples.

With some of the more “grown up”side of Rita, all loved up and in a relationship now, I felt I missed her quirkiness a little more, but I think it shows how she’s grown as a character too? That’s not to say you won’t get a giggle, because you will, but I wanted more of my sassy “assy” girl who has cemented herself in my heart.

Excerpt:
One day he accidentally slipped into the wrong hole. I can now honestly say that even though it was in there for no more then five seconds, it was five seconds too long. That hole is an outie hole. Don’t go putting things in there. It’s just yucky.

All in all, a funny yet ‘real’ portrayal of relationships...Rita is my “sassy-assy” lady and can’t wait to read more about her, and hopefully other characters soon!

Finding True Self

So glad to see this second book on Rita and Owen. Was very glad she chose him, he completed her in so many ways. Life wasn’t always easy for them but in the end they made it work. You did surprise me at the end with Rita being pregnant. I wasn’t expecting that part. Looking forward to sam’s story.
Great read!!

Book 2 of this series gives the readers a choice of which man Rita should choose....this is the story of what happens when she chooses Owen. It’s a brilliant idea and after reading the book you realise that there was ever only one person she was destined to be with. Absolutely brilliant.

What a great idea

I read the 2nd book in this series, not knowing there were two of them - one for a different choice. After reading It's Complicated: Caleb, I was delighted to find this other book, for the choice of Owen.
