Wow! This book had all the feels. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was looking forward to Brett's story and I was not disappointed.

5 Stars to Damaged by Luke Prescott.

Damaged gives us the story of Brett Daniels and Eva Chapman. They were schooled-aged friends for years, then they became each other's wingman. And inevitably more.

I was eager for Brett's book since we met him in "Wrecked." Brett was definitely a manwhore. But he was also so much more. Brett was a loyal friend and had a big heart. Sadly, Brett believes himself unworthy of love, so he doesn't go looking for it. In fact he avoids relationships and commitments at all costs. My heart broke for him. I thought he was worthy of love and so much more.

Eva has her own reasons for avoiding relationships and commitments. But the more time these two reunited friends spend together, the lines between 'like' and 'love' start to blur.

I want to say how much I absolutely loved the way Brett treated Eva. He most definitely proved to me that he was worthy of love even if he didn't see it for himself. I was enamored with Brett from the beginning but I must say by the end of the book his character blew me away! Oh. My. God! What a perfect hero Brett was! Damaged has all the feels. My only complaint is that I wished this book were longer; I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Brett and Eva.

I want to say that each of Luke Prescott's books get better and better. His writing flows, there is good tension and the sexy scenes are smoking hot. I can't wait for what this author gives us next!

So if you haven't yet, I recommend you add this author to you TBRs.

Wow Luke Prescott has done it again! Damaged is a funny touching journey of two damaged souls who come together, fall in love and become whole.

Brett is a sexy player who keeps people at arms length except for his best friend Asher. He is all about quick sex and no kissing. He has been on his own since he was eighteen.

Eva and Brett were good friends in middle school and high school, but haven't seen each other in awhile and run into each other at the bar. Brett is missing his wingman, Asher, who has fallen in love and is no longer interested in partying and picking up women.

Eva volunteers to be Brett's best friend and new wingman. The funny things that happen and the heartbreaking things that they have to face make this a story that you don't want to miss!

Omg.... Luke Prescott has done it again with the amazing story of Brett and Eva.

As always he gives you characters you can relate to, laugh with, fall in love with instantly and feel every emotion they are feeling throughout the pages.

Brett, I loved and he had me giggling at his one liners all the way through the book (they are brilliant) you can feel how big his heart is under that player persona, who doesn't want any more than just sex and friendship. I adored Eva with her sass, the fire in her and the fight, all wrapped up in a sweet, likeable girl looking for fun. The friendship and chemistry between the two was so tangible you could feel it in every word and encounter. And oh my were some of those encounters seriously hot.
Two damaged souls, afraid to feel for another, for very different reasons, yet so drawn to each other.

You also get to revisit some past characters which I loved. A little glimpse of Shawn and Jana from Screwed and Asher and Payton from Wrecked .

Each book Luke writes just keeps getting better and better. His writing style and the depth of the stories, the twists keeping you hooked, the connections between the characters, the issues that so many of us can relate to, all make for a brilliant read that you can get lost in for a few hours and won't want to put down.

Another 5 stars from me.... if I could give it more I would 🖤

Now to revisit all 3 of Luke's books over and over until he brings me 'my man' Brad in his next book 🖤

In Damaged, Luke Prescott has brought out all the feels. I laughed, swooned and even cried. Brett and Eva have been friends since childhood and a chance encounter in a bar brings them back into each other’s lives. Brett is a manwhore and he’s unapologetic about it. He enjoys sex and the women he has it with. Eva’s ready for some fun and what better fun is there than hanging out with her old friend Brett as his new wingman.

Brett is cocky and has all the right moves. Eva is sassy and her confidence downright sexy. The chemistry these two share is undeniable. It’s just a matter of time before they find themselves more than friends. Can these two damaged people find a way to trust each other with their hearts?

I also loved that Shawn and Jana from Screwed as well as Asher and Payton from Wrecked made cameos in Brett and Eva’s story. Bringing these characters together lets fans of Luke’s previous books get a little extra time with some of their favorite couples.

Luke Prescott had created a world in his three books that I definitely want to hang out in a while longer. Each book of his has gotten better and better. I can’t wait to see whose story is next.

After seeing the drool worthy cover for this book, I couldn’t wait to read it. Brett is a player with a capital "P" and always on the hunt for a good time. He lost his best friend, and pick-up wingman, to a woman. Eva, Brett’s “buddy” from school, offers to be his new wingman.

I don’t want to give away the story because it’s so much more fun to discover it as you read it. I will say this - the book pulled me in from the first page. I didn’t put it down until I finished it! My emotions were all over the place. I laughed, I cried, and at one point, I even wanted to strangle Brett.

I enjoyed Brett’s sense of humor from the start, but it’s hard to really like a guy only wants sex and has rules for keeping it that way. It turns out though, he’s a pretty decent guy who had reasons for keeping women at arm’s length. I loved Eva from the start – she’s a fireball. I did wonder what she was hiding and my heart broke when I learned her secret.

Bottom line – you definitely want to read this book!

I received an advanced reader copy of this book for an honest review. I enjoyed it so much, I will be buying a personal copy once it’s available.

Luke Prescott turned up the heat, the chemistry and the angst for this one.
If you've read his previous stories you know their hot but this one is by far my favorite.
I wasn't quite sure I'd enjoy Brett's story, he wasn't exactly likeable to me but Eva helped ease the aversion I had to him.
Their story was similar to the others but not, Brett's much worse than the others, he's damaged, he has some strong feelings deeply inbedded in him.
Luckily I happen to love a damaged man!
Eva has her own issues and that changed the tone of this book, it wasn't all about Brett an his hangups. I loved her early on and wanted to cry for her on two occasions.
By the end this one had stolen my heart, even though I may have cursed the author a time or two.
Damaged is my favorite of the authors work to date, I can't wait for what comes next.

Two Damaged Soul Become Best Friends

Brett is anger that his best friend has abandoned him for a woman. Now, he needs a new wingman. Or perhaps a wing woman will do. Brett's friend Eva shows up at the bar after a mishap with a woman and makes an offer he can't refuse. She will be his new wingman because, after all, women hangout with single men too. This story follows Brett and Eva through their adventures and misadventures of finding their individual one night stands.

I absolutely loved this book, I couldn't put it down. I even ended up finishing it in less than a day. There were elements of both humor that had me laughing out loud throughout. I can't wait to start recommending this book to family and friends!

Luke Prescott brought out all the feels with Damaged. I laughed, swooned and even cried a little bit.

Brett is in need of a new wing man and who better to help him out then his old friend Eva. The only problem is the more time they spend together is the more their feelings for each other grows. But since neither one wants any form of relationship they decide the best way to explore their connection is by becoming friend's with benefit.

But what happens when that is enough anymore?? Will they be able to give up their lifestyles for a chance at love or will something bigger stand in their way??

I absolutely loved this book! This is the third book I have had the honor of reading and reviewing for this Author. His writing gets better with each book. Though all three of the books I've read of his have blown me away. Not only does it have plenty of hot dirty sex , it has friendship, heartache and love. I actually cried a little as I read parts of this. We also get a glimpse into the life's of some of our favorite characters from his other books, I loved. If you have not read anything by this Author yet, you need to, you won't be disappointed. But, you will be hooked. I can't wait to see what he has in store for his readers next.

This was my first book to read by Luke. I must say I really liked this book, and his writing style. Once I started the book I could not put it down. I just had to see what would happen to Brett, he is lost without his wingman around. Can Eva help him get over his feeling of needing someone or something. What will become of these two. You should read Damaged to see what happens.

Brett and Eva’s story gives you one helluva ride. I was completely taken for a ride with the twist I didn’t see coming and I loved every second. Their relationship is fun and sexy and that’s a friendship I would love to be part of. Wonderful story and loved seeing previous characters made an appearance throughout this book. Great read, highly recommend you grab your copy.

I'm speechless...

I never saw it coming. This book is full of love, laughter and tears. Friendship some have been blessed enough to experience and love that can be truly amazing. However, Luke caught me off guard near the end which is what earned this book a full on 5 star from this reader. Thank you for this.

I have been staring at the empty comment square with a lack of words to justify a middle of the road rating. There is absolutely nothing about the story or the writing that I can fault but in the end, when the last page was read did I think 'wow'? The answer is no. At any time did I think about not finishing the novel? No, I wanted the HEA ending. Will I read more by the author? Yes.

Endless amount of great reviews already written.

When Does It Begin To Mean Something?💘

it's Just About The Sex.......
Brett🐺🍌🌋 is a mechanic🔧🔨 by day, a naaasssty bad boy manwhore at 🌙night. Not a super hero, a super stud!🐎🍌🌋
His wingman when they go 🍸bar hopping, is Asher, but he's off the market now with a live in girlfriend.
Brett🐺🍌🌋✋ tries a new wingman, but he's a failure, he can't follow directions about how to pick up women💋.

Then, he sees Eva, a school chum, and she sits beside him at the 🍸bar. One thing leads to another, and they're having a good time talking about old times.
Eva volunteers to be his wingman. She thinks she can just be friends without any involvement.
One thing leads to another and they're in lust🍌🌋✋💋 together, then friends with benefits🍌🌋✋💋, and the idea of helping him find his one 🌙night stands goes flying out the window. Eva💋 thought she could be alright with the friends with benefits role. Soon, though, they both are only seeing each other, and they find themselves spending more and more time together.
The "L" 💘word never comes up, neither one of them want to go there. They have both been hurt💔 by loss in their past. Yet, they are totally involved with each other. So much unsaid........

Loved the book! There is a surprise ending that I didn't see coming, but it's very emotional in a good way.
I Highly recommend this short but very well written and thought out book. 👍Way to Go, Luke! 👍

Brett's a biter, a spankster✋, he's a master bad boy🐺🍌🌋, and he knows how to make Eva's engine PURR!
YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

I have to say that I really, really enjoyed Damaged by Luke Prescott. This was my first read by him and I was highly impressed. His writing flows freely and effortlessly without missing a beat from chapter to chapter. This is a fairly fast read that can be read in one day. The storyline revolves around Brett that has been on his own with no family and just a few friends since he was 18. His best friend and the closest thing he has to a real family has gone and fallen in love and leaves him without his "wingman". Brett has a chance encounter with Eva that he knew back in middle school. They hit it off and she becomes his new best friend and "wingman". They both have things from their past that make them feel like they don't want or can't have a relationship with anyone, so their new arrangement is perfect. The entire book captures your attention from beginning to end. I was very surprised at the turn of events near the end of the book but definitely left me smiling. I honestly cannot wait to read more by Mr. Prescott.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I LOVED this book. Two damaged souls coming together to create a wholeness neither has experienced before. Brett, who made an appearance in Luke's last book, is a sexy HOT mechanic that keeps his "relationships" to one-night stands only, and never includes kissing b/c that is too personal. Eva is the childhood friend who wants to live life to the fullest b/c of things that have happened recently in her life. They bump into each other at a bar one night, right after Brett's attempts at sex in the bathroom goes down in flames -LOL. What happens next leaves you laughing out loud, fanning yourself during the sexy times and screaming at your kindle to just figure out your feelings already. They have both endured losses that have made them who they are when they reconnect, but it is what they discover when they are together that gives you all the feels of a HEA. I definitely recommend one-clicking this book and giving it a chance. You will not be disappointed!!

Damaged is Brett's book, you might remember him from Wrecked with his awesome one liners, well in Damaged we get to see a whole other side to him.

Feeling like his best friend abandoned him after settling down, Brett is in need of a new wingman on nights out or in this case a wingwoman. Brett and Eva have known each other since their younger days, they form a friendship and soon enough become best friends, but there is an attraction which both seem to be fighting. They both have a past and are both damaged from it, both fighting their own demons. Neither of them are looking for a relationship both happy with casual hook ups, what happens when feeling start to get involved?!?!

Luke Prescott has outdone himself with this book, it's intense, passionate and it plays with your emotions, Brett and Eva are written perfectly, Eva is a strong and sassy character who doesn't take any crap and Brett is an asshole but he's also super sweet. I look forward to seeing what he brings us next.

Wow! I really wish you could give more than 5 stars on a review. If you liked Screwed and Wrecked you are going to love Damaged! Brett and Eva will make you laugh, cry, and most of all, fall in love with them.
Brett is a player who is only looking for a good time. He is so anti-relationship that he wont even kiss a girl because it involves emotions and all he's after is a hook up. But he isn't having the best of luck since his best friend and "wing-man," Asher, got taken off the market and Brett hasn't been able to find a decent replacement. Until Eva walks in and offers to help. She offers to be his new wing-man and figures that it will be beneficial to both of them since she's not looking serious either. They have been friends since middle school so its not like there is anything between them. Right? Guess you will have to read it to see what happens because I'm not going to give away any more spoilers.

Wow. The power of this book just snuck up on me. I thought I was reading a rather typical friends-to-lovers story where neither of them, for their own reasons, wanted a relationship but they just couldn't keep their hands off each other. Just as everyone starts to realize that feelings got involved, however, a huge secret from the recent past rears its ugly head again and both Eva and Brett are thrown for quite a loop.

This was a deeply moving book, especially the second half. I wasn't expecting to be so emotionally overwhelmed by the drama. How they dealt with this issue was authentically portrayed and neatly avoided being trite. Their realization about their relationship on the night of their friends' wedding was breathtakingly beautiful. This book was very well done with just enough pathos to make you feel what Brett and Eva were feeling. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Happily Ever Afters Do Exist
ByKeri NYon August 31, 2017
Eva's a florist who wants bring beauty into other's lives and live life to the fullest. She's all about to having a great time but no relationships to hold her back.

Brett is your hot, alpha, no strings guy. Happy to get down and dirty but no emotions. Everyone in his life leaves him at some point, so he's all about putting up walls.

These two meet up one night at a bar. They knew eachother back in middle school and decide to become eachother's "wingman". Its all about having fun, but as their friendship develops and grows Brett knows that Eva is defintely holding something back.
This story has the heat and sexiness to keep you turning the pages. And it has the emotion and heartache that make you want their happily ever after.

Brett & Eva had some amazing chemistry! They left me wanting more of their story. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Another must read

Likr did it again with another one of his books. To say he is a great author is an understatement.. he is fantastic. Brett and Eva's chemistry was explosive. You could tell from the beginning that there two were made for each other. I loved this book from the beginning to the end. I couldn't put it down even the parts that made me cry because cancer is very close to home, and it's a very scary thing... Happy that they admitted to what they felt for eachother even though they both were not looking for love.. Oh yeah Brett is hot af.. there is much more I want to say but I don't want to give anything more away but like I said this is a wonderful story that needs to be read, a mechanic and florist who are best friends and eventually are more.. great job Luke, who are such a wonderful and talented writer and I'm looking forward to more.

Wow!! Another amazing book by Luke Prescott! Damaged is a story about Brett from the book Wrecked. Brett is a Manwhore with a capital M! He just lost his wingman Asher because he found love.
He's not looking for a relationship just sex. He does feel he deserves loves. Everyone he's ever loved has left.

Eva back and as decided sex is all she wants. When she runs into Brett she thinks he still has hot as he was in school but she decides to be his wingman but no girl is good enough.

A great friends to friends with benefits to love story that you will loose sleep over. I couldn't put it down I devoured the story in 24 hours and it would have been done sooner but work calls. This story definitely deserves more the five stars. It's well written, great story that keeps you reading and characters you'll fall in love with. A MUST READ!!!

Quickly Luke Prescott is becoming a go to author! A one click favorite. The writing is smooth from start to finish.

With steamy sex scenes, down to earth characters, it all makes you feel immersed in their lives.

It's a quick read, but it's not missing anything! It has an amazing couple. I was on the fence about Brett. How rough around the edges was he going to be? How was Eva going to keep up ? Was she going to try too hard with him?

I like that when I was reading the book that I was cheering them on, that they were real, vulnerable , and their sex scenes were explosive. For a couple that I was on the fence about, in my opinion shared not only the hottest sex out of the books, but also the greatest love (and love scene).

“Don’t run,” he whispers. “Never,” I whisper back.

One click, fall in love with Brett and Eva! A quick, sexy, & emotional read.

Let me start by saying I really liked this book. Brett does not do relationships and absolutely NO kissing. Brett looses his wingman to a dreaded relationship. And cannot believe that Asher has chosen his girlfriend over his friendship. Then he sees his crush from middle school Ava. They start by giving Ava a try as his new wingman, things don't go as planned!! I loved the chemistry between Brett and Ava. I laughed at the bar scenes. I love a friends to lovers story, and it's beautifully done! Luke Prescott makes you cheer for these two coming together. The ending I did not see coming!! WOW!! The epilogue was a perfect ending to the story!! Getting to see glimpses in their future!!
