A book full of fun emoji and fun facts, especially helpful when it comes to food and etiquette dos and misdemeanors

This is such a fun book. Very informative, very interesting, concise and to the point. Beautifully designed as well, felt like an experience, not just a book. I think it's very underrated.

Curious book to read. It offers a nice tour around japanese culture and what's behind everyday-used emojis. | Includes many fun facts. :)

Amena lectura llena de curiosidades. A través del recorrido de los emojis de WhatsApp (q por cierto son precisamente procedentes de Japón) el autor nos cuenta multitud de anécdotas e información interesante sobre el país Nipón. Cada página contiene un emoticono, su pronunciación, el Kanji para saber cómo se escribe y una breve descripción de un par de párrafos que ocupa una carilla de la hoja del libro. Los emojis están clasificados por categorías, por ejemplo comida, vida cotidiana, clima, vestimenta, relaciones...
La edición está muy cuidada, la portada es dura y el tamaño ideal para llevarlo a cualquier sitio y tener una lectura entretenida y ligera. A pesar de que considero que sé ya algunas cosas de Japón y que he leído bastantes libros y viajado al país, mucha de la información que incluye el libro la desconocía. Muy recomendable!!
