This was very repetitive and involved lots of information on top of what I really hoped it would have- simple strategies for working with ELL students in my classroom. The information is good, but it isn’t what I would consider a go-to resource for me. It’s possible having to read it for a class made me dislike it more than I would, but it’s got so much stuffed into it I didn’t feel like it was easily accessible to someone like me who only needs some strategies for specific students in specific areas (and as a secondary chemistry teacher, I just always feel like these techniques are much better geared towards English or social studies anyways). Have read several other books for classes that would be more of a reference than this one, for me.
