About the author

Richard Bernard is an experienced teacher, speaker, and unabashed tech- nology geek. Because of his dyslexia, Richard has struggled his entire life finding how to manage his time and to study and understand the scriptures. He found the answer in technology and came to see that what he learned is applicable to everyone. He loves technology and has been teaching its use since the mid ’80s. He served a two-year service mission at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, helping missionaries effectively study the scriptures. As tablets were introduced at the MTC, he helped in developing lessons incorporating the Gospel Library in their scripture study. He is passionate about the Gospel Library and has been a guest speaker in California and Utah and a teacher at BYU Education Week.

After taking a class at BYU Education Week from Richard Bernard on utilizing the Gospel Library app, I learned that I was only skimming the surface of the depth and capabilities of this app. Richard's book guides the reader step-by-step through the intricacies and nuances of this phenomenal resource. His personal experiences, gospel knowledge, and strong testimony makes this "how to" book not only another resource, but a delight to read. If you will just follow his directions, success will be yours and you will discover a new and better way to study the gospel.

I have been using the Gospel Library for a long time in what I now know was a limited way. I now have the knowledge and some additional apps to study in a much deeper way. Additionally, I can store and organize my study better.
