I thought the author would be addressing and discussing all the signs of the Second Coming of Christ. He does spell out at the beginning that he will briefly reference those signs, but the book is more about our spiritual preparation, and what we need to do to be ready for it. He had a lot of great references, and quotes by many apostles and prophets that I enjoyed.

Where many books of the second coming focus on the signs of the times, the focus of this book is on US. Where do we need to be spiritually for the second coming? For the most part there were no real WOW I DIDN’T KNOW THAT moments reading this book. It was more of the day to day things that we need to be doing, and why... because the second coming could be tomorrow!

Great reminder to “not procrastinate the day of your repentance!” But not a doom and gloom book by any means. Great read.

Brent Top is a master teacher and this is one of his best books. Using the Parable of the Ten Virgins, Brother Top uses the scriptures, imagery and personal recollections to remind us how we need to keep our lamps filled and more importantly how to do it. How we need to continue to fill our "resevoirs of righteousness" through daily living. Things we need to hear again and again so that we may finally understand the great importance, the responsibility and the blessings that awiat us.

I enjoyed this doctrinal and practical message about the second coming of Jesus Christ. The message is simple and clear throughout this book: spiritual preparedness at all times is essential. This was uplifting and a good read.

I felt this book makes a person really stop and think about how prepared we are for the 2nd coming. Lots of suggestions for us to strive to being more prepared
