Hana is very brave person. She face a fare of team summer A. Especially, Ango killed Izatoi by a gun, so he might to kill Hana too, but she rescued Momota. Ango seems go loopy because of his experience. The face when he told Koruri was captured was so scary and crazy.

We learn a little more about Hibari and Hotaru's background. Hibari feels like Hotaru is her rival and doesn't like that fact that she was also part of the 7seeds program. Hibari decides to leave the group. Hotaru seems used to this attitude, but still tries her best to help her out as she leave. Before she leaves Mozu tells Hibari that he knew her grandmother and we learn that the 7seeds project was a side project that was mostly supported by the Mozunoto and Taiami families, which is how both Horatu and Hibari found places among the small number of selected members. Hibari is then guided by Mozu and the path leads her directly to Tsunomata, who has been alone since the flood separated team Spring.
Team Summer B is finally all together again and catching up with each other. When the rest of the team find out about Hana, they are all excited and agree to go search for her and start making plans to leave on the ship. Mozu and Botan have noticed how much the kids have matured over the few months, even Semimaru - although he still can't help messing with Natsu. There is also a really cute exchange between Botan and Matsuri which really rang true. Matsuri always felt like she was just an average girl, but that no one really cared about her much, but the people of the project saw her and thought she had value, so it makes her happy and she wants to do her best from now on.
Then we switch back to team Summer A, it is clear they have only been awaken for a short time as they are still assessing their surroundings. Ayu notices how all her plant memorization was worthless as all the plant are different now and she will need to start all over again. She comes across Momotaru in a swampy area, half dead, and decides to hide him from the rest of the group. We learn how smart and efficient they are, they have all been working and sharing information, doing what they were trained to do. Ayu decides to use Momo as a guinea pig to test plants on. Ban knows about it but is too weak in nature to opposed it too strongly. Ango starts to haze Momo, wanting to test him and abuse him... the others do nothing to stop it or help, even if they don't like it they agree to the sentiment or just decide it isn't their problem. It comes off too harsh, too cold and cruel. It is also clear that many of them are still traumatized from the final test. Gen no longer wants to get attached to animals. Koruri is still grieving her friends too. Ango especially is starting to show signs of becoming unhinged... he is still suffering from Shigeru's death and all the others, he is extremely angry about how they all had to die, especially when 'useless' people like Momo were allowed to come in their stead. None of the group seem especially concerned about finding or meeting any of the other groups.
Hana and her group travel back to where team Spring was camping to find the place destroyed and everyone missing. They do find one of Momo's shoes and Aramaki uses the dogs to help find him. They find him being terrorized and used as bait by team Summer A. First impression was terrible, second impression was nearly as bad. Even the members of team Autumn seem taken aback. Meanwhile Haru meets another member of team Summer A Koruri, who looks like an 'angel.' Hana want to rescue Momo, so they make plans to rescue him, but Hana is captured too, so Ran and Akira decided to capture Koruri so they can make an exchange, but vicious white bats attact both teams.
Team Summer A surly went through a really harsh upbringing that ended with a traumatic final test, then immediately put into stasis without much time to process what they just went though... so yeah, many of these kids have a lot of issues to work out... much to the misfortune to the rest of the teams. What were these 'teachers' thinking... I know what the author was thinking... this will make for some great drama, hahaha.

This was so intense and the tensions between Summer Team A and Spring/Winter were so high. Summer Team A is absolutely insane and their torturing a child to discover if the child is strong enough to have the privilege to be in this world or to see if they will die from poisonous plants is terrifying.
sometimes i find myself struggling to sympathize for team summer a when they behave like they do towards momota and the others, but wow that final chapter got me
oh summer A……….what were your teachers THINKING. they’re going to have to figure out how to be human and heal but unfortunately, a lot of people are gonna suffer while they do 😖
